The only problems were the lock box for the key was very hard to use and there was no fob for the pool.

Extremely dated and not maintained well
There were three lock boxes which I had to try each to find the key. Hallway bathroom ceiling was falling in from a prior leak above, about 8" of plaster falling. Carpet was stained and torn in numerous places. Towel rack in hallway bathroom almost falling off due to screw being pulled out. Towel rack in master bath falling apart. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Closet door frame in spare bedroom broken at top connection. Could not open closet door due to too much stuff jammed in closet. Living room TV small for todays standards. Internet was slow and laggy. TV in spare bedroom was an ancient box style with just one coaxial cable connection. There was no remote control for it and it was basically a prop. They had a VCR in the living room with several VHS tapes, which sums up the dating of the condo. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything, such as: running water, cell phones, conversations, and dogs barking from other condos. The kitchen drawer with the silverware would almost fall out when opened it, huge hazard. Avoid if possible!

Room worth the value but does not have hot tub, pool, or laundry access
The room completely met expectations. The problem was we did not have access to the clubhouse/hot tub/laundry as the key card did not work. The text string with the Vacasa staff could be great material for a comedian. Very nice while completely incompetent relative to solving the problem. Round and round over our 10 day stay telling us what we should do to solve it, such as telling me multiple times to contact the HOA who told us they could only deal with the owner. Or that we may be at the wrong clubhouse (we were not). Whatever the owner is paying Vacasa is too much.

Not great, filthy club house.
The condo was clean, but lacked activities, games and common cooking spices. The beds were uncomfortable. We left early because my family slept miserably. The couch is peeling and leaves pleather flecks all over you. Walls are paper thin, and the club house is filthy! We won't stay here again.

Great location
This is in a great location. If you are looking for a place to stay with easy access to several ski resorts, it's perfect! The cons: the property is very dated and could use a makeover. The beds are not that comfortable, the dishwasher is very loud, it has a small TV with VHS hookup, missing a chair in the kitchen, and the neighbors upstairs sound like they are in the room with you which is very awkward and annoying. It is on the second floor with no elevators. If there were elevators, I did not see any. It did serve it's purpose for our family though and we had a wonderful long weekend of great skiing!

It was okay.
It was okay. It was older than we expected once we got there. The couch was very worn and used. The carpets need to be replaced. We have little kids that play on the floor and I didn’t feel like it wasn’t very clean for that. The extra bedroom (kids) room was extremely cold at night. The heater worked well everywhere else but that room. They came to look at it for us and said the whole heating system works with the whole building so it’s fighting for heat at night when it’s super cold is what we were told. Nothing they could do because technically it worked. My kids were freezing both nights. We were hot in the master bedroom. They have space heaters but I wasn’t comfortable leaving my kids in the room alone with a plugged in space heater. Thank goodness we brought along extra blankets. Everything was pretty clean for the most part with how old it is. Everything we needed was there regarding cooking and bathing. The toilet needed wiped down in the front. The kitchen cabinets need a good wipe down with Clorox. Also behind the kitchen sink wall. The sliding glass door wasn’t locked so we had to make sure that was locked at night. It only has one deadlock on the main door. Additional locks from the inside would make us feel safer there. The kids were super excited for the game room and we were super disappointed because it cost a $1 for all the games. We were expecting it to be free. We only stayed for two nights so we made it work. We wouldn’t have stayed longer mostly because of the heat issue. It looks like it’s on the 1st floor according to the pictures but it’s really on the 2nd floor.

Rental Review
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Convenient location for skiing at multiple mountains. Most aspects of the stay were what we expected and went well. One issue that was never solved was the water temperature at the pool and hot tubs. They were way colder than they should have been. It was hard to even go into the pool and the hot tubs were warm at best.

1970s original condition unit plumbing problems/general disrepair
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We understood we were reserving a bronze level property and we were ok with that. However we were traveling with a few other families on this trip who also reserved bronze-level condos at Treehouse and on the same floor as we were on. Two of the other families' bronze-level condos were noticeably nicer in furnishings and were in a more updated condition. Unit 206F is in mostly original 1970s condition including kitchen and bathrooms. Toilets clogged almost daily although a plunger was there and we were able to unclog ourselves. One toilet overflowed but we were able to stop the flow. Reported it to management which resulted in maintenance personnel entering our unit while we were away and us returning to find our door being left unlocked and our condo smelling of cigarette smoke (with no note indicating maintenance had been in the unit). The next day we were away again and returned to our condo to find a sign on the door stating for us not to use the hallway toilet as it was leaking into the downstairs unit. So our family of 4 was down to one toilet for the remainder of our stay. Shower water temperatures were very hard to regulate due to original stiff plumbing fixtures. Our room key was extremely difficult to lock and unlock the door, sometimes taking 10 minutes or more to get the key to turn inside the lock. There is no TV in master bedroom and in second bedroom with bunk beds there is a TV but it does not work. The unit is very dim, with no ceiling lighting other than kitchen/bath. Several lamps were present but some with burned-out bulbs. Kitchen table had only 3 chairs as one chair was found to have a missing leg and had been placed on outside balcony. Vertical blinds in balcony window fell off track when we tried to open them.Venetian blinds in bedroom would not open/close properly. We are pretty positive people and not that hard to please so it did not ruin our trip but would want others to know this unit is in a state of disrepair.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean and there were no issues whatsoever. Great unit and Silverthorne Wildernest was a great location and economical for all the ski resorts, restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and clubhouse a short walk. We would definitely stay here again or use Wildernest for other properties as well.

Over-rated not enough space
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is too small for the 6 people as the house says. Just providing beds doesn't mean house is appropriate for 6 people. We are 5 and don't have enough space and couches in living room for all to sit. Same is the situation on dining table. Maintainence wise also situation is not good. Light bulbs are out, faulty flush. We called the emergency numbers given to us but nobody picked up and on call back. This is a old decade house. Still have VCR and no smart tv. Wifi is too slow. Club house is while another story. It opens at 10 AM and closes at 10 pm. Who in the world open at 10 AM. This is club house and need to open atleast 16 hours a day like others. Moreover the pool is closed. This is 4th July weekend and pool is closed, the busiest weekend of the year and main attraction is closed. Worst experience. Overall bad experience. Didn't enjoy much staying here.

Treehouse 206F summer stay
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staff was friendly; easy to get linens and towels, great clubhouse w/hot tub. Loved the view of Buffalo Mtn from the living room window. Neighbors were not loud. Had all the basics I needed. Fireplace was a nice extra, even in the summer. Access to mountains, lakes and streams was wonderful. The ONLY downside was that I found the mattresses hard to sleep on for two months. You probably wouldn't notice for just a weekend.
