Perfectly situated only a half mile away from Deer Valley and quarter mile to Historic Main Street, the chalet offers the perfect blend of convenience and seclusion. This four bedroom and three bathroom home can accommodate as many as ten guests.

The home's interiors are wonderfully spacious, with whitewashed walls reflecting the dazzling natural sunlight that streams in through the many wide windows. Abode at Loose Moose features a main living area spacious enough for everyone to gather together, a gourmet kitchen fully equipped and fit for a chef, dining area and a cozy fireplace to unwind and relax.

Abode at Loose Moose offers two king suites, a queen room, a third bedroom with a queen and a twin bunk bed and an additional sleep sofa in the living room, perfect for families or large groups. This home also features an expansive wrap - around deck, new outdoor patio furniture, two car garage* and a private outdoor hot tub to enjoy after a long day on the slopes!

Abode at Loose Moose boasts an excellent location for skiing or hiking, being only a stroll away from the powdery slopes and the beautiful trails. On days when you're looking for something a little different, wander down to Main Street; where you can enjoy chic boutiques, sample delectable cuisine at the restaurants, and the exuberant nightlife once the sun sets.

*Car is not necessary during the Winter months, as the driveway can be a little tricky to navigate.

Ski Base Camp

Went to Park City with a group of lifelong friends. The property was an excellent home base walkable to both Deer Valley and Park City town lift within 10 minutes. We really enjoyed the hot tub, elevated patio, and board games, as well as the very comfy furniture and beds! Would come back to this property again in an instant!

Walkable Location

The inside of the property was great and accurate to the pictures. The property management group was easy to deal with. The only two issues - if you visit during a time of snow or ice do not rent or drive a car to this property. The driveway was not initially made free or ice/snow and the front wheel drive vehicle provided by the rental car company could not make it up the driveway and property management had to come assist. Second, the sidewalk is on the opposite side of the road and the road can be busy at times when attempting to cross. However, the property management group was fantastic with requests and would rent from them again.

Our stay at the Loose Moose was nothing short of perfect. The Abode property management company was extremely quick to communicate and made it so easy for us the entire weekend. When I return to Park City in the future, I guarantee it will be at one of the Abode properties. Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay!!

This house was one of the best we have stayed at! The location is a short walk over to Main Street and the free bus stop. The house has everything we needed and when we did need something, the property management company, Abode, brought it over very quickly and was always very easy to communicate with. I would rent from them 100x over. The driveway is verrrrrry steep but didn’t have a problem with it since we stayed in August (I.e., no snow). There is a stairway off the second porch that leads to another one that overlooks the entire city that was absolutely breathtaking. I didn’t realize this from the photos but was blown away by the beauty of it! The house is on a very busy street so there is street noise at night but all in all, great stay!

Great Option

Overall, our stay was great. The house was very clean and just a short walk from Main Street. It was also a short walk from the buses which brought you right to the mountain. They also provide you with a text line if you have questions or need anything. The reason I gave it four stars was because the driveway is so steep that no Uber or van wanted to come up the driveway. Meaning we had to drag all of our suitcases to the bottom of the driveway and wait in the snow. I did appreciate the crew coming out to shovel. However, it snowed constantly while we were there, so it didn’t make too much of a difference. In the backyard, there is a staircase that leads up to a higher platform. Unfortunately, it was not shoveled out and we were not able to get up there where the views are apparently stunning according to other reviewers. I wish that they had shoveled it out for us. The only last comment is that the house is owned by a property management company. This company sent me a ton of options to do in Park City prior to our arrival. Although this sounds like a good thing, everything they sent me was the most expensive option and kind of a rip off. We ended up just googling other options for ski rentals, park tickets, and excursions and found several options for a fraction of the price cheaper. other than that, the house itself is a great option!

Everything we could have asked for

My group stayed at the Loose Moose for a ski trip with a group of 9 family and friends. The house was awesome, great hot tub, plenty of queen beds, and most importantly no more than a 10 minute walk from anywhere we wanted to go in Park City.

MLK weekend

Excellent stay the the lodge. Property was clean and stocked as advertised and the owners were in constant contact. Dryer didn’t work which was a bummer but someone came over to try and fix it and then offered to bring our clothes to a laundromat. Would come Back again.

Lovely place to gather

We met friends here for a ski week, great house for two families. Plenty of space, nice furnishings, comfy beds, nice hot tub. Easy walk to Main Street, we did not need our car once. We walked to the Town lift to ski Park City each morning, Deer Valley Road super busy but not noisy inside the house. Abode concierge was very responsive, text responses within minutes. Great experience!

Wonderful ski family vacation

the House Loose Moose was fantastic, very accurate to what the pictures show. It was perfect for our family! My husband and I rented the property and invited my parents and siblings. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms very clean! I like that some rooms had ample closet space and some, drawers as well. The common area was very open and spacious for us to gather and chill. We used the kitchen which was well stocked, the grill worked great. Hot tub was nice to have after skiing all day! And there is a hidden gem in the back deck! Make sure you take the time to climb up in the back to it. Best pictures of The Valley you will get from that side If you plan to rent a car and not depend on public transportation (even though town is very close walking distance) make sure to rent a 4WD, ( not necessary but helps when snow coming down constantly) as house has a steep driveway but worked well with the car we had and also closed garage space! We were blessed / cursed with 5 days of steady snowfall. Amazing for the slopes but a bit of chaos for snow plowers in town. The house had plenty of supplies to help out and Mr Chase from Abode Luxury Property management did his best to help out. At one time coming himself to help clean the decks. Our daughters loved the big blackboard in the kitchen with color chalks, despite our best intenta, they might have left some prehistoric art forms…

Great Ski House

Great house with the perfect amount of space in a great location. Comfortable beds and living area. Eight of us enjoyed dinners in and walkable dinners out. Very convenient for skiers. And for the one of us who worked all week, perfect Wi-Fi. Cars unnecessary and given the slope of the driveway, not recommended.

Great. Stay in Park City

My first visit to Park City was really great. Because my husband and I were babysitting, while our children skied, I spent most of the time in the house, and it couldn't have been more comfortable. It was well supplied, and the property managers were very welcoming and helpful. When some ice fell and damaged the deck, they responded promptly to keep it safe for us. It was within walking distance from town, and the kids easily caught the bus to the lift. We enjoyed being able to build a fire. The only thing to mention is that the driveway is steep and a little difficult to get in to from the fairly busy road. But we had a four wheel drive, and were able to get in and out. Sometimes it just required a little patience. It would not stop me from recommending this property, though.

Loose Moose was an exceptional rental unit!

Overall, everything was top-notch, professional, and lived up to the 'luxury rental' name. Lodge at Loose Moose was an exceptional rental unit for our ski vacation. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of living and ski storage space for all of us. Amenities and decor were high quality and comfortable. We are used to tired furniture/linens/appliances at ski rentals, but everything in the unit was new/like new and worked well. From the Sonos sound system to the new, high-capacity washer/dryer, it felt like we were at home. The linens are plentiful and high quality (with separate towels for shower and hot tub), and there were enough toiletries to last the whole week. The unit was stocked with dry firewood which made for made for easy fire-lighting when we got off the slopes. Beyond the rental itself, Abode was as professional and helpful a management company as I have worked with. Any questions or special requests we had were met promptly and cheerfully. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough!

Highly recommend!

We stay in Park City most years for a ski trip and we have struggled to find a property that can accommodate our two families, has a great location to town and slopes, is stylish and has all amenities we are looking for. This year we were so lucky. Our original booking had a burst pipe and so we chanced upon Loose Moose at the last minute. I am so glad we did. Fantastic location, spacious, very tastefully decorated and nice touches throughout. What made it also great was the management company abode, who were on point, responsive, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
