The house is in a perfect location for easy access to the venues we visited during our stay. The lower level where we stayed was roomy for 4 occupants, fully appointed with all necessities, very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again for future visits.
The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you’d need. Plenty of space in the bedrooms to unpack properly into dressers and closets, plenty of towels, wash cloths, extra blankets, and pillows. Outlets located on either side of each bed for chargers and bedside lamps in addition to overhead lights. It’s the little details that make it feel like home. The only hiccup we encountered was the noise from the upstairs guests. The lower unit where we stayed is not soundproof and we could hear the upper guests clear as day talking, walking around, playing fetch with their dog, waking up at 5:30am every morning and doing their laundry until midnight. Had the upper unit been empty we would have had a perfect 5 star stay because everything else was wonderful.
We had a wonderful time in Colorado Springs. The property was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Communication with the owner was quick and easy.
The house was perfect for us 4. It was clean, comfortable and very homey. It was close to everything in Colorado Springs. We enjoyed a lot of time in the back yard looking at the mountains.
I stayed here with friends to be close to downtown, with plenty of space to relax and cook. We really enjoyed the backyard! Would definitely stay here again!
This was a great little get away I do need to say I missed that it was a basement unit. Not a big deal for y’all but we had a knee replacement and it was a bit hard . Other than that it’s a perfect 2 bedroom apt and yes there are folks upstairs but that’s to be expected a little foot traffic 😊😉😎
This unit is located in a great area, which made it so easy for all of our sightseeing.
With the yard being totally fenced and a doggie door, my dogs were able to feel at home also.
You do have to share the backyard with the other unit, and depending on how noisy they are or how many kids they have it got a little tricky a few times, but everyone was polite and we all worked together.
The host was above and beyond with everything we needed, and I would totally want to stay here again!!
The neighborhood was quiet, friendly people, and walking distance to many things, Tejon St being one of our favorites. Streetcar 520 and the Garden were delightful.
The space was quaint and well furnished. I'd definitely stay again.
Our family had the pleasure of staying here when we were in Colorado for the rollerskating American Championships. The apartment was clean, cozy, and cool. The owner is very responsive to questions or concerns. Having such a clean, "can't stress that enough" place to come back to everyday after my girls had been competing for hours was amazing. I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting Colorado springs.
This was my first time renting a VRBO and I vowed it would be my last if it didn’t go well! Instead, I now vow to never rent another hotel room again. The place was SPOTLESS! Not a cobweb or speck of dust anywhere! The owner had amazing communication with me from the minute I rented it until the day I left the rental. It surpassed my expectations many times over! The purpose of my trip was to see my daughter who is stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs……The purpose I had for the VRBO was to be able to cook my daughter home cooked meals she wouldn’t get unless home! I got to cook for her and some of her Army friends/Coworkers! It was PERFECT. I was surprised at how at home I felt there from the minute I walked into the place!! Just incredible! I will never rent another hotel as long as I have this gem of a place to rent!! The owner was there preparing things at the property for the summer, and I can now say I have a new friend! She’s INCREDIBLE! I’m o say it was a great first experience would be a big understatement!!!!! 5 STARS!!
Perfect for a couples weekend getaway. Very clean and comfortable beds. The only thing I didn't realize is this a basement apartment. Wasn't a big deal for our group, but the listing didn't specify. Close to a lot of things downtown which is nice. Would stay here again!
Our first time staying in a home. We enjoy every minute of our trip which was made even nicer by being able to spread out and cook for ourselves. The view of the mountains were great. Would stay here again if we make it back to Colorado.

About the host

I am a retired mother of 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. I love to travel around the USA in my travel trailer, so there will be times I am not in town.
Why they chose this property
My home is centrally located in the downtown zip code of Colorado Springs. Its only less then a mile from the downtown street of Tejon. Lots of good restaurants and local shops. My home is also 3 miles from the Old town of Colorado Springs. In the spring and summer there is a Farmers Market across from the library. The home is less then a mile from the largest park (Memorial Park) in Colorado Springs. You will find a skate board park, a path around the lake and lots of grass to play any games. Memorial Park has 4th of July fireworks and the Labor Day Balloon festival. You'll see the balloons from the front and backyard. You will also find a indoor bike track and a YMCA pool and workout center. There is so much to do in Colorado Springs and my home is close to all the attractions.
