About this property

Eight-acre ranchette in rustic setting at the north-western edge of town

Single level 1700 sq-ft two-bedroom home with sitting area out front and 700 sq-ft of covered porch out back and manicured lawn area. Modern master bedroom suite with spacious full bath including sunken concrete tub and shower. Second bedroom with one single bed. Fully equipped large kitchen with expansive dining area seating eight or more comfortably. Massive 700 sq-ft wooden cabin-like living space with mid-century fireplace. Adjacent bathroom with shower. Lots of outdoor covered and porch with rustic dining table. Green yard with stringed bulbs and heated outdoor shower. Uncovered seating area out front for spectacular sunsets and ideal stargazing - west facing with no street or town lights!

The home is owned by two artists whose artworks are on display. There is a central sound system with speakers in the dining and living areas, as well as outdoors. Additional computer speakers in living room. High speed wi-fi, heating/cooling units in bedrooms, with central swamp cooler, and ceiling fans throughout. Gorgeous landscape in all directions.

The place is ideal for couples and small families requiring room and tranquility. It's spacious in and out, airy with lots of windows and light. While it's out of the fray of downtown, it's a short walk, bike ride or drive to Judd, Chinati, coffeehouses, restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

PETS: We do allow pets but to ensure cleanliness we are limiting pets to three. Each pet requires a $35 cleaning fee. Because every pet is different, we have no idea the amount of cleaning that will be required. Please be respectful and clean up after your pet. Absolutely no pets on furniture and please do not allow your pets to roam in the yard without supervision. We have neighbors that have chickens and we do not want to upset them in any way. Weekend in Marfa
Little Pink was a perfect accommodation for 2 friends visiting Marfa for Trans Pecos festival. Comfy master bed and bath. Nice back patio for morning, afternoon or evening sits.

Spring Break stay
We stayed two nights in the ‘pink house’! It was beautiful and cozy just like the pictures showed. We loved the quietness and closeness to town. It had all of the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. The kids loved all the books and games and said it was their favorite house we’ve ever stayed in!

Fun lodging! Love the vibe and art
I loved this property. The layout of the bedrooms was a little different, in that you have to go through one to get to the master suite, but we didn't mind since the four staying there are family. The bathroom in the master suite was very cool- I only wish I could have figured out if I could take a bath in the massive tub. I loved all of the art, and the first half of the house is like the living room, with so much personality and almost log cabin-like. The sticker burrs were all over the rug and no matter what, seemed to just attack the bottom of our feet with no warning. It's the only real issue with the property, but we made light of it, preferring to compare them with the soot creatures from Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro Studio Ghibli movies, and saying they couldn't help but to be in the way. The property is near the train, but I don't think that's different from most homes in Marfa. I would stay here again if we come back with others, as it's too big for just two people. I didn't get to play with the sound system, or shower outside, but I wanted to!

Cute pink house
My family and I stayed comfortably in the pink house, the kids absolutely loved it. Very clean, loved all the books for both kids and adults. Was able to sit outside at night and enjoy the stars in peace. Can't wait to go back

Notable Experience
The place had not been attended to in some time. After finding where a Bull Snake had shed its skin, I found out why it had! There was not a drawer or cabinet that did not have rodent droppings. All though I was refunded my money, it definitely ruined our vacation! I would request up to date photos before renting this prpoerty.

Little Pink House Awesomeness in Marfa
The little pink house is awesomeness!! It feels like you're on the outskirts of Marfa but you're literally 5 minutes from downtown where all the restaurants and stores and art museums are located. All of the restaurants we ate at in Marfa were 5 stars!! Not all restaurants are open during the week. Many only open Thurs. - Sat. and some only open on Fri. & Sat. The Water Stop was open everyday we were there and their food is off the chart fantastic!!! There's no TV at The Pink House but they have a stereo with the local radio station in Marfa tuned in and the music selection is fabulous!!! All genres of music are played so something for everyone and no commercials!! The natural light coming into the house is incredible! My husband is an artist and really appreciated the light and how it made different perspectives on his art! We were able to take our dogs which is most important for us. The place is incredibly comfortable and we felt at home from the time we stepped in! My husband was so inspired, he made art pieces from nature and desert treasures and left them hanging outside for others to enjoy! Thank you to the host for sharing a little piece of paradise with us!! We will spread the word about this little piece of awesomeness and we will definitely be back!

Perfect and spacious
Spacious, comfortable, well equipped. Very comfy bed and pillows. The best thing is the covered back patio that stretches along the entire back of the house from which you can watch the sunset and the sunrise and relax and listen to the wind chimes and just take inthe view. Also in a very quiet neighborhood.

Awesome location, super house in Marfa
We loved our stay; unfortunately it began with us waiting in the heat out in the country with only one phone working and no access to the B&B for two hours. There was no place to go, and we were booking another location when the owner called from out of state to apologize. Otherwise, the outdoor shower, the sunken concrete tub/shower inside and expansive cabin-like interior were really great for our stay! We are so happy that it worked out and we were able to stay at the Pink House after all. We also got to meet the sweet Kathryn, who brought us local goodies our first night. We highly recommend the stay. JUST DO NOT SPEED THROUGH TOWN! The cops recognize out-of-towners.

Large and Comfortable
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is very large, close to downtown Marfa, but "out" in a very quiet, secluded neighborhood. Next door is a place with chickens, goats and a deer! We were absolutely charmed being near--but not too near--a train track--and spent time watching both passenger and fright trains going by. The kitchen is really quite well equipped. We were able to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner while there. Beds were comfortable. Showers were great. Fireplace was kind of iffy--smoked even with flue opened. The outdoor porches--front, back, and side were just wonderful and with adequate seating.
