Loved this charming house! Plenty of space for 3 of us, super comfy bed! The host provided all the hotel level amenities, snacks, robes, hairdryer, toiletries etc… My husband and I and his college buddy stayed comfortably in the house for the Final Four game, it was walking distance to the riverwalk, restaurants, bars and Alamodome. We felt completely safe walking home at night. Loved this perfect space for our weekend!
Nice comfortable stay. Close to the Riverwalk action. Would recommend staying there if you don’t want a traditional hotel room, something more like a home. Walls are a little thin so you hear the other guests.
I booked this suite to get ready before my recent wedding. The location was walkable and extremely convenient, and the place is gorgeous. Super comfortable bed and couches. I did not use the garden but it was so beautiful and peaceful looking! I had so many questions for the staff leading up to my stay…they were very patient, responsive and personable. I would stay again and recommend for friends and family.
A very cozy, clean downstairs apartment in a perfect downtown location. Hazael was super helpful and quick to respond. For light sleepers be aware of possible noise from upstairs guests coming in/going out of the front door and walking around upstairs. Also note for larger groups: you must go through the bedroom to reach the bathroom and kitchenette.

Clean and close to Riverwalk, but....
The positives: Very clean, easy walk to everything San Antonio had to offer... strong A/C. and comfortable bed. The negatives: From the moment we entered the property, we noticed that the condition had deteriorated significantly from the VRBO photos. Paint on the front porch is peeling, the antique doorknobs are not in good working order, and there is a distinct smell of mothballs in the unit. Also, there is a MAJOR construction project going on directly across the street from the property. We started hearing construction equipment before 6:00 AM on weekdays. Another disappointment was that the garden/patio area is badly in need of new furniture and cleaning. The housekeeper(s) are great, but we feel that the property owners need to put more effort into their maintenance for us to consider this a 5-star VRBO property.

We booked this property for the eclipse trip more than a year in advance. The location was perfect. Easy walking distance to Riverwalk and other dining choices. The neighborhood seemed reasonably safe. I was texted by the suite manager a few days ahead with details around how to access the key and where to park. That was very reassuring. The key access worked exactly as she described with no problems. The suite was very nice and interior was very clean. There was a nice fenced courtyard in the back with a fountain. However the furniture needed a good cleaning. The chairs looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. We sat on our beach towels on the chairs as we enjoyed a post-eclipse beverage. We did have an issue with the interior temperature. The thermostat was in a locked box in the communal hallway. When we came back after being out all day, it was very cold in the suite. The only way we were able to get it warmer was to leave open both our doors into the communal hallway until the thermostat registered the cold air coming from our suite. Lastly, there is a rotten board on the front porch near where one must step down to access the lock box. It looked a little dangerous. But overall, a nice stay at a great location.

Not what i expected and safety concerns
First thing was the front door wouldn't open and the door knob was really loose. I called management and the house keeper let me in. When she went to show me my room. There was not a doorknob on it, she had to go from the back and let me in. After struggling to try and fix it she had the maintenance gentleman fix it but it was still really loose. I also asked him to check the front door and he told me the ac system was very strong and caused the front door to be hard to open. When i asked about the loose front door knob he said it is fine. Then the housekeeper let me know that i will be alone in the house wed and Thursday,
but Friday, Saturday, and Sunday there will be other people staying in the house with me. Over all with the issues with the front door, my room door, and the fact that there will be others in the house, i did not feel safe nor comfortable, so i went and booked a room in a hotel. Being a single female in an area that i did not know well, it was not a safe idea to stay there. I did let management know, they offered another location, but i was too on edge that it would be the same thing so i declined and stayed at the hotel. I did contact vrbo regarding the situation and was informed i needed evidence of the issues and all i had was the text messages, which i sent to them. They told me that with them i was not suppose to share the house with anyone. i thought that, but was not sure. It is a beautiful house, but not listed correctly.
So romantic and the bed is so comfy and huge king size. Literally a block away from Riverwalk. And 2 blocks from Market.
We rented scooters for fun. The garden and fountain were so pleasant.
We will be back! Totally worth it.
We really enjoyed this lovely spot. Check in was simple & just as we were told. The couches in the sitting area were lovely & the bed was quite comfortable. We loved being so close to the downtown- a perfect walking distance from the river, restaurants, the Alamo. The only problem we had was when we parked in the public lot just down the street from the unit, our truck was broken into. We'd take that into consideration, but we'd otherwise recommend this lovely suite.
We have stayed here multiple times and have enjoyed it more each time. The location is awesome… The beds are super comfortable… And as women traveling alone, we always feel safe here
Nice property in a great downtown location! I was so nice to able to walk and not worry about downtown parking. The place was clean comfortable. It was very easy to communicate with management and I really appreciate the attentiveness late into the night.
We had our anniversary and this delivered. Was able to walk everywhere. Loved the courtyard and fountain. It was peaceful, very clean and will return again.
