Gateway to Mt. Rainier/Hiking/Scenic Railroad - Spacious Ohop Lake Cabin

A great getaway any time of year! Come relax and get away from it all. Or, use as a jump off point for adventure - Mount Rainier National Park is only a short drive away! Visit NW Trek Wildlife Park, Pioneer Farm Museum, Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad in Elbe (20 minutes away!) or just stay at the lake and watch the eagles and osprey. Bring your boat (designated ski hours) or use our canoe, kayak and paddle boat. Public launch less than a mile away (free of charge but requires a Discover Pass).

Home offers two private bedrooms with queen sized beds, plus a bunk room with twin beds for additional guests. Full kitchen with dishwasher, plus washer and dryer. For coffee lovers, there is both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. Board games and foosball table for family fun. DVD, NO WIFI. Best spot on the lake! Low bank waterfront, easy access to the water and a large grassy yard to play. ** No pets. Not suited for small children, due to the open spiral staircase, propane stove, etc.** Two night minimum, please.

Absolutely perfect.
Only missunderstanding was the vrbo ad says 18 min walk to Wilderness Trek. It is not a walking trip. Wonderful stay. Definately will use again to see my mountain and friends!

What a Great Stay!
We had the best time staying at this little gem of a cabin on the lake. Our kids had a blast using the kayaks and canoe. We BBQ'd just about every night after hanging out on the lake all day. The kitchen is fully equipped so we had everything we needed for all our meal preps. Roasting smores on the campfire in the evenings, playing cards out on the desk and the game room was really great if you have kids. We will definitely book again next year.

The lake house was so clean It was supplied with everything we needed for our stay. Loved being on the lake. Family enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing. So excited when they caught fish. Beautiful, fun place

Our new favorite place for a weekend away!
Our stay at this wonderful lake house was everything we had hoped it would be. Before we arrived, the friendly and thorough messages from the host helped prepare us for our arrival. Upon arrival, we found the home very clean and fully stocked with anything we could need during our stay. The furnishings were comfortable and we loved the lake house decor. The beds were so comfortable and had such nice linens on them, it was hard to get up each morning! The grounds were very well kept and we cannot wait to visit during better weather so that we can enjoy the fire pit, grill, and water “toys.” Our daughter was especially thrilled with all the game options and the foosball table. We had such a great time and cannot wait to return for our next visit!

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful property. The neighbors and lake visitors are extremely friendly! The house was gorgeously update and comfortable. The neighbors also have an adorable puppy named Brisby, he made the trip! The town is adorable and we already want to plan our next stay

Perfect Lakefront Getaway
This was a very clean and perfect size property for a small group. The property location is great as it is just midway between Seattle and Mt. Rainier. The view from the house was amazing and even though we couldn't use the lake much , it would be the perfect thing in summer. Overall, this property is perfect to spend some good time while you are visiting Mt. Rainier.

We arrived a bit late and had an issue with the entry. The owners were super responsive and quickly helped us get in. The house was cozy and perfect for family of 5 adults.

Wonderful winter weekend
We had such a lovely weekend at this lake house! Sunrise over the lake beautiful, and we loved how the house was set up for views from every room. We used Ohop Lake as a jumping-off point for snowshoeing at Rainier, and it was the perfect cozy retreat to return to. Very well set up with everything we needed. Would love to visit in summer!

Beautiful spot by the Peaceful Lake
This property was perfect for our family! The property was beautiful with a large back porch for outside eating, a fire pit with wood provided, lots of fun games for entertainment both indoors and outdoors. They are also in close proximity to lots of hikes and NW trek. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

The house was very clean and pictures did not do this peppery justice. The outdoor deck was vey large, and there was more space and beds than we has expected (which is usually the oppeosite with many Vrbos).

A Memorable Family Vacation
We spent 3 wonderful days at this lake house on Lake Ohop in Eatonville. Not only was the house beautiful but the owners thought of every detail to make this one of our favorite family vacations, including letting us use their canoe, paddleboard and kayak. We wish we could have stayed longer. Anyone who stays there will LOVE it!
