We booked a relatively last minute 2 night stay at this cabin to visit Dollywood for opening day. Location is extremely convenient to the park - very hilly community which is typical for this area, but this cabin has a nice flat parking area. Check in was easy - door and gate codes came through VRBO messages timely. Communication was good before our stay and we did not have any issues during the stay.Cabin was extremely clean and tidy, and well stocked. The flow from the kitchen to dining to living room is very nice. We did not use the indoor resort pool but it was conveniently located and we observed groups using it. It is worth noting that the upstairs bedroom is loft-style, which worked fine for our family. I would also note for anyone mobility challenged that there are 2 steps up to the porch from the parking area and no handrail. Lastly, as noted by others, due to the placement of the upper windows there is a bit of a lack of privacy in the loft and the sun is very bright in the living room areas in the afternoon.
Great location for Dollywood! Bed was comfortable. (We only checked out one bed.) Nicely decorated for Christmas. Well equipped kitchen. Thick towels, extra blankets were great. Would stay here again.
The property and house was very nice. It was clean, decorated very nicely but part of our reason renting this property was it had an indoor pool that we could enjoy in the evenings after being out all day. Saying that we went to check the poolArea out to find that someOf the doors that would keep the poolArea warm wereMissing and the pool area was freezing inside. I definitely would have rented another property or stayed at one of the resorts to be able to do this in the evenings.
It was a good stay. All the cabins are very close together so the neighbors can see you when you’re out back. No covering over the door window so neighbors can see inside. No shower necessaries or high chair like listed. But it was a nice small cabin. Beds were comfortable. And liked the games included
This was a very nice cabin, clean and close to Dollywood and all shopping. I would stay here again. Perfect for two couples. The kitchen is also very well stocked. I forgot to bring coffee and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet. I can’t wait to come back.
My husband and stepdaughter stayed here for a last minute family vacation. Booked 3 days to Dollywood/Splash Country and the cabin was within minutes to the park! Great location to all of Pigeon Forge. Loved the space, the kitchen and all the utensils that was needed, the hot tub, washer/dryer, jacuzzi tub upstairs, the big windows in the living room that was also visible in the upstairs area and it also had two king sized beds. I would definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was in the perfect location, close enough to everything you want to do in pigeon forge, but far enough out to not be right in the middle of everything. Super close to Dollywood! The cabin was very clean. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! :)
I have never had such a terrible stay and also been spoken to by a property manager who acted as though I was a liar and he/she just didn’t care. Upon arrival, we were not given the correct gate entry code so we could not get into the community for a while. When we entered the neighborhood, we saw repairs being done on the water and sewer system and could smell the awful stench even in our car. We hoped the smell would dissipate but it continued our whole trip. When I told the property manager about it, he/she said there was no smell and acted as though I was lying about it. When we opened our cabin door, the floors were filthy. We had to sweep before we even started unloading our things. The plug in scents were overbearing and gave me a headache, everything provided was extremely cheap, the shower downstairs had mold on the actual wood indicating there’s not good ventilation and mold growing in areas you cannot just clean. We saw what looked like a few games and also some video games but there were no complete games to play and the PlayStation did not even have cords to hookup to the tv. And because of the smell, every time we went on the back porch in the hot tub or outside at all, the sewer smell was so strong. The whole stay was embarrassingly awful. The refrigerator was also leaking, which didn’t effect our stay other than having to clean it up but documenting here so that it’s known since the property manager did not seem to care about anything I reported.
Niece wanted family to join her and her boyfriend for Memorial weekend. We rented separate cabins in Hidden Springs Resort, and having our own place in the “neighborhood” made it so convenient to join in the celebration when her now fiancé proposed
The only snag was late notice of gate code so 4 cars lined up behind us while we waited to get into the compound. Fortunately the property manager responded quickly, and everything was a fun time after that.
Our cabin was clean and comfy, and we enjoyed our stay.
Had a great reunion with friends. Good layout for 4-6 with 2 bathrooms! But bring a swimsuit for the hot tub as the cabin above has a view from their deck.
We went to celebrate a birthday celebration. Best location to get to Smokey Mountains and most importantly 3 minutes to Dollywood Park where we spent lots of time. So close we could have walked there!!
Definitely a place we would love to go back to. Place was absolutely beautiful and what was described as. Awesome for families definitely. Can’t beat that!
The actual cabin was amazing! Loved the openness, loft, hot tub, and the beds were really comfortable! However, we didn’t get the gate code till we arrived and called multiple times (luckily someone else just let us in), there’s no view from the back deck, in smelled like sewage outside for days, and many neighbors thought it was party time all week.
We enjoyed our visit to the area very much. We will not stay at this cabin (this resort in particular) again for many reasons. The main problem we had was the beds. They were horrible as many other guests stated in reviews. Hard as a rock. The pull out couch was even worse. They all need to be updated. The other problem we had was we did not realize HOW CLOSE the cabins are together. There is a 10pm noise rule that no one followed while we were there. Our neighbors were a nightmare. Loud and rude. I guess it is hit and miss on who ends up renting cabins around you. Between the beds and the other guests we didn't get much sleep. The smell in the resort was bad on some days also. Sewer smell, like others complained about. However, we followed check in instructions with regards to flushing toilets and had no problems whatsoever inside the cabin. The kitchen cookware and cooking utensils are very outdated also. If you plan on cooking a lot while you are there bring you a few good cook utensils, pot and pan. There are plenty of dishes, coffee cups, glasses, and eating utensils. We had a small refrigerator leak and the owner messaged us back immediately and offered to send someone out. Check in was easy. There was plenty of toilet paper, towels, sheets, pillows, and other necessities. The location is GREAT. You are literally a few miles to everything. Dollywood, Gatlinburg, the dinner shows, shopping. The smell and other guests are at no fault of the owner. It just not was for us.
I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay for Christmas. All of the instructions were easy to read, and everything went so smoothly checking in. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can't wait to come back.
Fire place did not work. Toaster burned toast on half of the bread. Really wish the place had more room out back to sit at a fire pit. Needs a real fire place not a electric that does not work and it was cold. Beautiful area just needs to be more homey for the price.
