A quiet, cozy tiny cabin! Loved our stay, the property dog Bailey, and the hot tub! Very comfortable and great communication with the property manager! Would reccomend!
My dog and I stayed for 3 weeks and couldn't have been more pleased with the entire set up. Quiet and beautiful setting. David and Carolynn proved to be wonderful hosts.
The tiny house was just as described. It was a great place for a weekend away. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after exploring Asheville.
The cabin is conveniently located, just a few minutes from great hiking and zip lining, or shopping and great restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay here! We wanted to be near Asheville and still have a secluded area for ourselves. David and Carolyn were extremely available and helpful during our stay, and were super welcoming when we arrived. Thank you for our stay!
It was a good tiny home to stay at for a few days. The hot tub was a nice bonus. My only complaint was the shower in the bathroom there was no way around getting water on the floor a little bit it wasn’t that bad. Overall great place.
Loved the area. It was close to the VA hospital so we could visit our dad very quiet and peaceful. Owner was nice and very helpful. Will be coming back soon
We had a great time at the tiny house. A small inconvenience but nothing to write about. The host communicated with us the whole time.
We will stay there again
Tiny House on lovely property next to the National Forest
The tiny house didn’t feel that tiny! Was very comfortable and had everything we needed!
The front porch was lovely to hang out on and had a hot tub!
The host was very friendly and told us the history of the property and surrounding area.
Our dog could roam free and made friends with the “canine hostess”!
We highly recommend this tiny house and it’s closeness to Asheville 👍
A perfect place for me and my dog. A quick, pleasant drive to downtown Asheville, but far enough from the city to relax. The loveseat had a strange odor and the bathroom faucet is a little tricky, but otherwise, it was very nice. I loved the front door screen and the porch railing and gate. The owner, David, checked in on us, which was very reassuring. Saw deer and a bear in our short stay! I highly recommend this place and the hosts.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the tiny cabin, no frills but relaxing! The hot tub was perfect for the chilly nights! Close enough to downtown to enjoy the nightlife and far enough away to enjoy to calm of the mountainlife.
I only rated a 4* for cleanliness as when we arrived the cleaners had not come however we notified the owners and planned to head out to dinner. They were there to resolve the problem and had the place cleaned and ready for us before we returned from dinner.
All in all a great stay!
5 stars for being dog friendly! Quiet location within a short driving distance to activities, restaurants, and Asheville. This tiny house is cute and cozy and very close to the Deer Haven cabin also for rent on the property. We were able to rent both this and the cabin for a family getaway. The small hot tub was great! I will mention (as another review did) that someone who is tall will have to be careful with one area of the ceiling in the home. The hosts live on the property and are available if there are questions or needs.
The cabin was as described and met our expectations as far as size and amenities. We were disappointed at the cleanliness of the cabin, especially the floors and bedding as well as all of the small houseflies and fruit flies. We could not get rid of them despite our best efforts.
The tiny house was great for me and my 2 corgis. Great location to trails for us to walk, several in 15ish minutes. The place was clean and had all I needed. Yes, there is a low beam and the beds are short, but that’s to be expected. Very quiet location, but another rental and a few houses close by. There is a gravel/dirt driveway that some may not like. There is ample room outside for parking. The porch is the best part, awesome rockers. I did not use the hot tub but the standup shower inside is was nice for a tiny house.
I would come back.
The property is not as convenient to Downtown Asheville as I believe is depicted. The “small cabin” is a travel trailer that has been added onto. There ate two rooms with beds, but they aren’t bedrooms and have no privacy from the rest of the living space. The bunk beds are only 3 feet wide and will not accommodate an adult that is taller than 5’10”. There is a pullout sofa, but the cabin could never accommodate 6 people. There was a flying bug issue in the bathroom. The owners brought a can of bug spray, but every time we went in there, there were at least 10-15 bugs on the walls and in the shower. There was an ant problem in the kitchen also. I’m front of the bathroom, there is a spot in the floor that is sinking.
Cute little house, perfect for 2 or a small family!
Loved our stay! The first night we saw 2 bears walk through the property, that alone made our trip. I wouldn't bring more than 2 adults and 2 small children. It truly is tiny but we loved our stay, quiet and peaceful scenery not to far from downtown. Would definitely come back! 💕
This is a fantastic tiny home 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and it had all the amenities that I wanted. The owners are super friendly and I felt completely welcome with no issues at all during my three nights day. Next time I visit I will look this place up first to see if it's available.
Perfect little tiny home to be in with your significant other. Quiet area and pretty views in the mountains. We loved the hot tub and porch. Would not recommend for over 3-4 adults. Perfect if you have small children. The host/hostess are very nice and you stay right on their property but you still have privacy!
Had a great time, house was clean, had everything we needed. Hot tub was great. My dog loved the property. I totally forgot to leave the cleaning person a tip, I will be sending it in the mail when I get home , I’m so sorry
My husband and I are slowly trying to adjust to semi-retirement. We take pride in our two rentals and do everything possible to make you visit special.
