Sundancer Villa, is a brand new fully air conditioned, beautiful Caribbean island three bedroom, three and a half bath vacation villa with a spectacular pool on Fish Bay on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands is offered for your vacation pleasure. Sundancer was completed in 2020 and built on the foundation of the previous Sundancer which was destroyed by hurricane Irma in September 2017.
Pairing modern architectural lines and breathtaking natural scenery, Sundancer was created by the wife and husband team, Naama Faucett (BINYAN architecture studio) and Rob Faucett (R. Faucett Construction). Both Naama and Rob have successful respective practices located in Central NJ. The intention of the design is to cut off the chaotic world and instead, refocus inward and out to the magnificent view. The strong composition of this 2-story rectangular open-plan structure, with luminous, glass doors and wrap-around porches, allows one to reset and recharge.
The home’s interiors are pure contemporary, with a stylish minimalism and fresh, neutral palette punctuated with rich mahogany cabinets and interior doors and Cypress ceilings throughout.
Sundancer has three spacious private, en suite, air-conditioned throughout , two with king beds and one with a pair of twin beds that can be converted to a king. All three bedrooms are enhanced by delightful covered outdoor showers, private exterior porches and spectacular water views. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and is accessed from the great room. The other 2 bedrooms are located on the lower level and are accessed from the exterior via a outdoor covered staircase.
Sundancer sits in a quiet, very private, tranquil setting among professionally landscaped gardens extensively planted with tropical flowers to deliver color all year.
An expansive deck area includes a delightful pool with an extended seating area. All afford total privacy from the road and neighbors and the entire space has been designed to enjoy unobstructed views of the Caribbean - you never look through deck railings! Sit in your pool and watch the sunset followed by the nightly parade of cruise ships departing St. Thomas followed by the moon and stars!
All of Sundancer Villa's decks afford panoramic southerly views allowing spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Sundancer overlooks the Caribbean Sea and Fish Bay with views to St. Croix in the distance and of Ditliff Point and Rendezvous Bay near to us. From Sundancer, it is a five-minute drive to the trailheads of either Reef Bay Beach or Fish Bay Gut trailhead. The town of Cruz Bay is a 10 to 15-minute drive. The world class North Shore Beaches in the Virgin Islands National Park are a mere 20-minute ride. All roads to and from Sundancer are paved.
Amenities of Sundancer Villa include a comfortable living, kitchen area with large sliding glass doors and windows with full AC in every room. There is a full solar array which powers a whole house battery backup system to ensure uninterrupted power (which is a nice amenity as the Virgin Islands electrical grid is historically very unreliable.) Sonos sound system with indoor and outdoor speakers, Smart TV’s are found in all three bedrooms plus the living room. High speed reliable Star Link Internet is accessible in every corner of the house plus the decks. The fully equipped for gourmet meal preparation- the kitchen includes every imaginable kitchen utensil, dishwasher, ice maker, microwave and all other expected appliances. Kitchen linens, utensils and a Weber Grill are all here. Bedrooms and bathrooms come with linens, bath and beach towels plus you will find chairs and coolers for the beach.
