Holiday Customs House is an attractive holiday home on the waterfront in Faaborg, where there is a magnificent environment, which is an experience in itself.
Old customs house in Faaborg is a listed property, which in 2000 was awarded after a thorough renovation, and all living spaces are renovated in bright and attractive materials with respect for the original style. In the holiday home there is room for 4 guests. The house consists of a large kitchen / dining area on the ground level. There is a little livingroom and a bedroom with at kingsize bed. There is a toilet on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms. The large on with one bed and the small room with to single beds. On 1. Floor there is also a living room and a bathroom and a separate toilet. There is a fine harbor views from every room. The house is comfortably furnished in harmony with the house's spirit and quality.

Super holiday house
We spend 14 days in the old toldbod. A fantastic place to be. The house was in an A1 position and was in top quality as far as holiday place is concerned. The help and kindness from the owner, Cristina, was fantastic. All in all a top class accommodation which can only be recommended to everybody. Thank you for a great time in your house.

a perfect holiday in Denmark
This property is the top for placement and comfort. Being a couple who travel every year, we have seldom found a place so perfect for enjoyment and relaxation as this one. we give it easily 10 out of 10 in all aspects.

lovely charming house
We had a fantastic stay here - it is a beautiful unusual house with real character but also comfy and enjoyable to be in. The situation is great with it being right by the harbour. Our host was really responsive with any questions we had and it was well equipped as well. Faaborg is a quiet town with a lovely bakery and butcher and a handy and well stocked supermarket in walking distance of the house. Restaurants didn't seem to be open much during our midweek stay and those that were did not cater for vegetarians, but we loved having drinks on the harbour at some pop up cafes and at the weekends it looks like more is open in the town. Would definitely recommend

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war gut, insbesondere die Küche war mit allem was man braucht sehr gut ausgestattet. Allerdings könnte das Badezimmer im 1.Stock ein Update vertragen. Die steile Treppe in den ersten Stock ist für Kinder und Ältere nicht ungefährlich. Christina empfing uns mit Blumen und Wein und war ganz reizend!

Sommer ferie og familie tid
Den gamle Toldbod var super hyggelig og centralt beliggende lige ved havnen. Vi bor i Minnesota og var i Danmark for at holde ferie og mødes med familie, og dette restaureret sted var et super hyggeligt sted at slappe af, ha familie på besøg, og nyde vand, natur, udsigt og den gamle by. Christina var nem og effektiv at arbejde med. Toldboden kan varmt rekommanderes.

Super maison en plein milieu d’une ambiance de port
Très belle maison cosy à la danoise en plein milieu du port de plaisance avec une super bonne ambiance estivale. Commerces, Ferry pour les iles et plage à 5mn. Petit bémol et contre partie de l’emplacement, la route pavée à proximité et le manque de volet qui ne permet pas l’obscurité complète pour la nuit dans les chambres.

We had a wonderful month long vacation in Faaborg and at the Toldbold. The house is perfectly located in old Faaborg, walking distance from everything. It is delightfully furnished and easily accomodated us, a couple, and my visiting sister. Highly recommended!

Magical Faaborg
Christina is a super host, and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay in Faaborg more. The gifts of wine and candy were much appreciated, as was the very well-stocked kitchen. The house is just as described and right in the middle of all of the action on the beautiful harbour. Restaurants are all within walking distance and a meal at Hotel Faergegaarden is worth a trip to Faaborg. The chef is an artist. Visit the art museum and enjoy watching all of the ships coming in and out of the harbour. We will definitely spend more time in Denmark-warm people, and beautiful scenery. If you are considering a visit-go for it. Thanks again, Christina!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche in Faaborg. Das Haus ist geräumig, genau wie beschrieben, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war super freundlich und total unkompliziert. Wir denken sehr gerne an unsere schöne Zeit in Faaborg zurück.

Perfekt beliggenhed og udlejning
Toldboden i Faaborg ligger helt perfekt. Ikke blot i forhold til byen men også i forhold til mange andre aktiviteter, fx øhop og vandreture i Svannige bjerge og bakker. Derudover er udlejer meget large med selve udlejningen og man behøver ikke tænke på vaskemiddel, opvaketabs, håndsæbe og den slags små-fornødenheder. Vi blev modtaget meget personligt og venligt og har følt os fantastisk godt tilrette, den uge vi var der.

Skøn feriebolig
Dette hus vil vi anbefale til enhver der ønsker at bo centralt og med et hav af muligheder loge udenfor døren - havnen, byen, øer, sejlture og badning. Vi giver vores varmeste anbefalinger efter 14 skønne dage i Den gamle toldbod og ikke mindst Christina (udlejer) som var yderst behagelig, hjælpsom og flink.

Sehr schön eingerichtet, super Lage: freundliches Land
Die Gastgeberin hat uns herzlich empfangen: Erdbeeren und Drinks im Kühlschrank, Blumen in fast allen Räumen.... Die Wohnung wirkt sehr hell und freundlich: in der Küche ist (fast) alles da, was man sich wünschen kann. Faaborg ist ein hübsches kleines Städtchen, wenn auch die dänischen Preise gewöhnungsbedürtig sind. Tip: große Salatschüssel wäre noch prima

Wunderbar!!!
Ein ganz wundervoller Altbau in bester Lage, direkt am Hafen. Das Haus ist sehr groß, lichtdurchflutet und äußerst charmant. Es hat nichts gefehlt und die Vermieter waren toll - hilfsbereit, immer verfügbar, bestens organisiert. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, wollen wir unbedingt wieder in das „Alte Zollhaus“. Vielen Dank!!!

A Real Gem
Our family of four (2 adults and 2 young children) stayed here for 6 nights. The house is well located to town as well as the ferry and harbor. Our children enjoyed watching the sailboats and getting ice cream across the street. We enjoyed biking, visiting Aero Island (on a day trip), Egsekov Castle and strolling the harbor. We were able to park our car in front of the house. The house was spotless and has a lot of natural light. Christina has thought of everything a traveler could need from tissue packets and slippers to sandwich baggies, freezer packs, picnic basket (great for our picnics). She also had items for the beach and grocery shopping. It seemed that when we thought of something that would be helpful to have she had it in the house. She also had helpful information on the area and a nice welcome gift. From start to finish Christina was a very nice person to work with and very helpful in answering my questions. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!

Perfect choice for our holiday in Denmark!
We were 5 adults who spent 5 days in Christina's house in Faaborg. We were already seduced by the nice and accurate pictures she shared on the house profile page and that's exactly how the house and every room was prepared for our stay. The house has everything you might need to make the stay very comfortable: washing machine, dishwasher, cleaning products, towels, bed sheets, TV, DVD player, the kitchen is fully equipped (fridge, oven, kettle, dishes, glasses, pans, pots, mixer, toaster, cooking tools and cutlery...) and everything is very new and clean. The location is also perfect. Isolated from other houses, but very close to the shops in the village, first row in front of the harbor. We had dinner at the restaurant in front of the house and we highly recommend it too! We liked the little village of Faboorg, because of its peacefulness, but you also have everything you need, it's close to other villages and sightseeing points of interest. If we visit Denmark again, we will definitely stay at Christina's house and we would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic house
Faaborg We stayed at the Ferienhaus Tolboden from august 1th. till august 6th. 2015. The house is realy fantastic! Very nice interior en perfectly restored by Christina and family with respect for the ancient history of the house. With all the comfort you will possibly need. We stayed with 4 persons (ourselves and 2 kids) and had lots of space. We didn't even use the living room, because the kitchen was such a wonderfull space to spend the evenings. During our stay, the weather was perfect, so we also spend al lot of time in front of 'our house', drink coffee and just watch the people walking by and watch the boats in the little harbour across the street. Faaborg is a nice little town, with lots of shops, restaurants and lovely ancient streets and houses. We went to the little beach (about 1 km from the house) and swam in the harbour swimming pool, wich was really special. We had a great time at Ferienhaus Tolboden and we would definitely like to come back and stay in this beautiful house again.

Een buitengewoon mooi huis op een mooie locatie!
In de haven van Faaborg staat dit bijzonder charmante, voormalige tolhuis. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De lichte kamers en frisse kleuren geven je meteen een vakantie-gevoel. Heerlijk uitzicht op de haven en genoeg te beleven in de omgeving! De woning was zeer schoon en de bedden prima! De eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk en we voelden ons onmiddelijk thuis. Zeker waard om nog eens naar terug te gaan. We hebben kastelen bezocht en in de buurt paardgereden en gevist. Vlakbij is een klein strandje en er zijn genoeg hele gezellige restaurants. Er is geen tuin bij het huis, maar we hebben dat helemaal niet gemist! Een bankje voor de deur met uitzicht op de haven, een wandeling naar het strandje...top!!

Wonderful place to stay
We stayed in Feriehus Tolboden 3 nights. Wish we had chance to stay longer! Contact person Christina was very friendly and helpful. The house was nicely decorated and clean and had very good location nearby the sea. Shops and restaurants were also near. Fåborg is very nice little town. Our family is two adults and two child. There was plenty of room in the house. I would definitely like to visit there again!
