What a lovely cosy cottage, it felt like home!
We had everything we needed and so much more! Perfect location for hikes and a pub serving great food just across the road, we had a wonderful couple of days and will definitely be back!
A lovely little cottage, well located for outdoor activities - walking, biking or running. Good pub grub across the road, so no need to drive out after a busy day exploring the beautiful countryside.
The cottage is comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Any problems were quickly & easily solved with the host. Thank you for a great stay.
Great property within short distance of excellent walks and amenities.
There is an excellent range of books, maps to help plan walks and visits to local attractions.
Parking at rear of property can be tricky but parking at hotel opposite is available
Very cosy cottage in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire hills, well located to discover the highlights of the region. Well equipped, good bathroom with modern shower. Shops and restaurants close by. We had a great stay, would certainly recommend. Fluid communication with the owner.
Very cosy cottage and well equipped. Garden area great for our cockapoo, buddy. Ideal location for us to go where we needed to. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Pam.
We really enjoyed staying in the cottage. It was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed.
It's a great location for walking in the Shropshire Hills, and for visiting places in the area.
The property is well set up and very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, too. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and the towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury. We really enjoyed our stay. Car parking across the road in the hotel car park proved very satisfactory and we enjoyed meals in the restaurant.
Everything lovely and as described. Great facilities and extras provided. Couldn't get boiler to produce any hot water but it didn't spoil our time at the cottage.
A lovely long weekend in this well-equipped home. Lots of information was provided about the local area, and Pam was very helpful in answering any queries we had. We hope to visit again in the future.
Quinney View is a lovely cottage which is very comfortable and the owners have made it very welcoming. In a great place for walking and easy to get to lots of interesting places in Shropshire. I would recommend this cottage it was a lovely place to stay.
Especially wonderful to have dinner at the Station Inn after a long drive from Liverpool. Great recommendation! One suggestion: why not have just two keys for entering and leaving, so people don't have to figure out which one for the upper lock.
A beautiful cottage with everything we could possibly need for our holiday visiting this lovely area of Shropshire. Great walks nearby and nice towns/villages. Easy to have food in the pub opposite or pick something up in nearby Church Stretton or Craven Arms.
The cottage was perfect for our family, lovely outdoor spaces and nice to relax in the conservatory in the warm sunny evenings.
We would definitely like to come again.
The house was lovely and clean with a really nice atmosphere about it. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Sofas in front room were very comfortable however the television was a bit more complicated than ours but we figured it out in the end 🙂 Dave and Pam have managed to make a real home from home. We hope to stay again.
Ideal spot for us to meet up with family. Lovely property, cosy and welcoming as all older (properly built!!) houses mostly are! We wanted for nothing as the place is very well equipped. Plenty of room for 4 of us and our dog. Well situated for the touring we wished to do with decent eats and drinks across the road.
The host was very friendly and helpful and our check in process was a piece of cake. All in all an excellent stay, thanks, definately 5 stars!!
Quinney View is a lovely cottage with everything you could possibly want in it. Cleanliness was second to none. Lovely garden, fully enclosed for my dog. Great conservatory to sit in and plenty if seating outside. Freesat TV, Superfast broadband. Great shower. Comfy beds. Ideal location for getting to the many great places to visit in the area. I was only there for two days but managed The Long Mynd & Carding Mill, Church Stretton, Ironbridge and Croft Castle. Some great walking in the area. Pub literally across the road which I didn't try but does good food. I can highly recommend the Thai restaurant in Church Stretton, Sawaddee, had a takeout and it omg good! Great communication with Pam, the owner. Tracey and Lynette live nearby for any issues you may have. Just brilliant service from them. Will hopefully return sometime for a longer visit.

About the host

We love undiscovered Shropshire ! And the cottage is the ideal setting for exploring the county, its countryside towns and the Welsh Marches. But just relaxing and having quiet time with family and friends in the cottage is great too.
Why they chose this property
We feel that this relatively unknown and unspoilt and has enough to interest us all the year round from National Trust and English Heritage properties to walks on the Mynd and winberry picking on the Stipperstones in the summer. Church Stretton just 3 miles away offers a good selection of shops and eateries for our needs and the pub just across the way from the cottage is friendly and does great food. The "foodie" town of Ludlow - easily reached by local bus - is a great draw.
What makes this property unique
Our guests tell us that they feel this is a home from home! The cottage will be prepared for you with beds made and towels provided. They love our sunny conservatory ! You can do Christmas here - even the turkey platter is provided ! We are easy to access but you will feel part of the countryside!
