ONLY A DREAM AWAY...OLD HAWAII'S GIFT OF ALOHA!
With all the vacation rentals to choose from, why should you choose Skipper’s Beach Cabana? The answer is simple: if you want to experience your Kauai vacation in a town setting, choose Princeville. But if you want to be on Kauai in the natural, unspoiled beauty of Hawaii, then Skipper's in Moloa'a Valley is what you are looking for!
Skipper's Beach Cabana is a well-maintained plantation house nestled away in the enchanted Moloa'a Valley. Only a small percentage of vacation homes have air conditioning on this island, but on some of the warmer days, you will be very glad you chose Skipper’s with central air conditioning. If you look at a map of Kauai, you will find Moloa'a Bay on the upper right hand corner. Out of the chaos of tourist destinations, the modern features about this place include the peaceful comfort of this home and its updated amenities.

WHAT OUR GUESTS TELL US ABOUT SKIPPERS...
In a word, it was perfect. My wife is a tough customer when it comes to interiors and she was blown away at how tasteful, relaxing, fun, and well-though-out the place was. Every time we needed something, it was there. It had a great tropical feel and the surroundings were rejuvenating, including the cats and chickens. We enjoyed being there so much that we hardly bothered to eat out and just grilled fish about every night. We watched movies and just hung out and enjoyed time as a family (we must have watched Scooby Doo and the Ghost Pirates 7 times!). When we left for the last leg of our trip, for which we stayed at the Hyatt, we were seriously sad and depressed to be leaving our home away from home. We would stay there again in a second and recommend it highly to anyone considering a vacation to Kauai--especially if they have kids and want a more relaxing atmosphere than expensive resorts & restaurants.
Thank you and we hope to stay there again soon! Matt F.
We got back home late last night and are already missing the islands. Of the three homes we rented on the islands, yours was the best. So clean and such an impressive attention to detail we've not seen before in our travels with everything needed to make the most of our stay and the outside shower was a total bonus. The beach was perfect and never crowded.

The best of both worlds! Rural beauty and yet close to civilization--you will notice that Skipper's is centrally-located to all the fun activities Kauai has to offer. Wonderful restaurants and shopping are 15 minutes in either direction on the highway.
Come experience Skipper's Aloha on Kauai--after all, it is only a Dream Away.

Being close to the beach means that we are located in a tsunami zone. In the unlikely event of a tsunami, simply drive up Moloaa Road to Koolau Road, where you will be out of the tsunami zone.
