2nd time a charm!
Love this historical home! The location is awesome! Very clean, comfortable bed, we only use one bedroom. The fenced yard is great for our pups! We haven’t had a chance to use the hot tub, but what an extra amenity! Thank you and hope to be back soon!

Great location in the heart of Bend
This adorable house is ideally located between downtown and the Old Mill District, within easy walking distance of both. Best of all, they allowed us to bring our dog, and the house is right across the street from a dog park - we could not have asked for more! The house was immaculate and the hot tub was a plus. We will be back.

Great place for Bend!
Had 3 of us in this house for a snowboarding trip. Location was great. Quick and easy 25 minute drive to the mountain and we were able to walk <10 minutes to downtown for food and night life after the mountain. Great place for a solid weekend in Bend. Hot tub was awesome!

Cozy House Close to Everything
We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean. We could walk to the grocery store and several breweries. The yard was perfect for our dog and sitting outside would be wonderful in the summer. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location!
Great location, easy couple blocks to downtown core, or over to the Old Mill District and all of it's fun. House is older, but well kept, nice little fully fenced back yard w/hot tub. Bathtub didn't drain well, but that was the only issue and it's a minor one. Would stay here again!

Cute cottage in great location
We really enjoyed the location of the cottage and the layout of the home. The backyard is very cute and comfortable. All amenities covered! My only negative is ants in the kitchen by the sink.

Adorable, clean cottage in the perfect location!
We had a wonderful stay at the Autumn Cottage. It was nicely equipped, had comfortable beds and was clean. The hot tub was a perfect way to start and end our day. In addition to the home itself, the location could not have been better. We walked to town a few times a day for a morning coffee, meals and of course the breweries! We will definitely be returning in the near future!

A quaint, well appointed bungalow
We had a wonderful time at the Autumn Cottage! Close to everything in downtown Bend. Kitchen well stocked. The hot tub was great to return to after a hard days skiing. Very close and walkable to near by restaurants, Drake park, etc. Highly recommend this place for your next visit to Bend. We look forward to returning on our next trip.

Autumn cottage stay
I loved this location, the house, every little detail included within the house & the bikes! We cruised around downtown & got to check out so much more than by foot. You have put so much thought into so many details about the house. We really enjoyed everything. We will pass this along to others and want to stay here again and again!

Very clean, nice home right in the downtown area close to everything that us well-appointed. The negative was the homeless encampment directly across the street.

Great place to stay-Excellent Cottage
Had a great long weekend with wife and Dog. We lived in Bend for 5 years so it was great to return. The house is fantastic with alot of attention detail. The set up was accomodating for work from home as well. We would stay here again. To be clear, there are homeless people living out of there cars or sleeping on sidewalk across the street. We live in downtown Seattle so it's nothing we havent seen before and overall we never felt in danger.

Cute little house but had problems
The house was cute, clean and located close to town. Unfortunately, the amount of homeless activity/camps right outside on the sidewalk was worrisome. We ended up leaving the property and moving to a new home we felt safer for our child to be in.

A lovely place to stay in downtown Bend
My husband and I rented "Autumn Cottage" for a recent spontaneous trip to Bend. We were very lucky to find this gem on such short notice. It is very convenient to downtown, but surprisingly quiet considering its location. The house is small (an old workers cottage), but has everything you need. It suited us two fine, but you could easily share with another couple. It has a lovely backyard, a hot tub (although the weather was too warm for us to go in) and is impeccably clean. Lisa was a delight to work with. Highly recommended

Wonderful Birthday Week
We spent a very comfortable and happy week at Autumn Cottage celebrating my husband's birthday. Bend is a favorite destination and Autumn Cottage enhanced this destination: immaculately clean, perfectly furnished, and within walking distance of everything downtown and just across the way from McMenamin's. We launched forth to a new hiking trail each day and returned each night to our cozy cottage for some hot tub therapy before walking downtown to a great Bend dinner. Autumn Cottage is just like a great vacation at home only better! we will definitely be back! Thanks, Lisa, for a wonderful week.

Couldn't be more perfect!
My husband and I recently spent three nights in the beautiful Autumn Cottage. What an incredible treat! The house is adorable, the space well planned out and super comfortable. It has all the amenities, all listed in this provide, but the ones that we most enjoyed were washer/dryer (great for us after a long road trip!), hot tub, BBQ, extremely comfy bed, a growler for guest use at one of the many breweries in the area, and the PERFECT location. Seriously, it couldn't be better located - it's a block to the Old St. Francis School pub, and two blocks to downtown, where there is a ton of shopping, dining, etc. We absolutely loved this house, and don't have a single criticism. We hope to be back for another visit soon!

Great Location!
The Autumn Cottage is the perfect location to downtown Bend with the heart of the city right at your front door. Easily walkable to some of our favorite restaurants like Jackson's Corner and Sarah's Raw and Vegan Cafe. The cottage is charming and cozy with all the amenities. The backyard with hot tub is private, quaint and well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to communicate. We enjoyed this property for 3 nights and found it the perfect resting place after our daily activities. The only downside to this property is the light that shines outside one of the bedroom windows, so bring your sleeping mask! We were pleasantly surprised that despite being right in the heart of town, it was extremely quiet at night!

Fantastic Location
We rented this little cottage for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The location is perfect, walking distance into town close to all the shops and restaurants. We could've walked to the Old Mill Shopping District, but opted to drive since we had a car :) The cottage photos online are as it is, clean, comfortable, fairly quiet location, has everything you need for a vacation. My husband enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring and dragging him through boutiques! Also spent a bit of time at the outlet mall in town, got a great deal on a Coach purse! Enjoyed the numerous brew pubs in town, food is great everywhere. Cannot wait to return, would highly recommend this little cottage. The owner is very prompt in responding to questions, very friendly. See you next year!

Fun, Cozy, and Close to Everything
We arrived in the middle of the biggest snow storm in years and to our great relief this home welcomed us with a warm lit fireplace and room for all our stuff. We immediate fell in love with this treasure of a home. The beds were so comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen was stocked with all the we needed for cooking. The appliances like the coffee maker, toaster, frig, washer and dryer we all new and excellent quality. In the back, after a day of skiiing we really enjoyed the hot tub which was also well care for, clean, and did not smell of chemicals. We have never experienced such a perfect place and can't wait to return! Thank you, Lisa, for being such a pleasure to work with and your quick responses to all my questions :-)

My husband and I have been managing and renting vacation homes here in our hometown of Bend, Oregon for over 17 years with our business, Home Spun LLC, and we love what we do! All the vacation homes in our Home Spun LLC exclusive collection provide distinctive alternatives to traditional lodging in Central Oregon. Our places provide a one-of-a-kind experience by offering amazing downtown locations, top of the line amenities, and personal service. We are picky about which homes we represent. Each home has been handpicked so our guests can experience an inviting and unique vacation with privacy, scenic surroundings, recreational opportunities just moments away, and the amazing city of Bend at your feet.

Why they chose this property

All of the vacation homes we manage are located in the Galveston Avenue District or Historic Downtown Bend area. We love that our guests can park their car and explore all the best parts of our city on foot or by bike, getting a real chance to fall in love with our sweet little city.

What makes this property unique

This house is over 100 years old and we love the historic features and feel of it, paired with modern amenities. My favorite things in this house are the historic photos that adorn the walls in black and white, showing what old Bend looked like when this house was built, what people did, how our town lived. It is like looking back in time and you can feel the history of this home just by being in it. It feels real.
