Views, Views, Views. Enjoy the Peace and Relaxation at A Treehouse Retreat. A Treehouse Retreat is set on 5 acres of park-like beauty with an elevation of 1250 ft.
The Retreat is the first floor of our home. We (Patrick and Suzanna) live on the second floor of the home and we always respect our guest's privacy.
Large picture windows surround your spacious Retreat for panoramic views of the Hill Country. As you sit on your private deck, relax and listen to the babbling fountain and enjoy the meticulously manicured grounds and the 10 mile views of the distant hills.
Every amenity has been considered to ensure you are pampered and can leave your cares behind.

The suite has plenty of space. It has a separate living room, a bedroom with a firm king size bed, bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. The large living area has a comfortable sofa with a queen pull-out sofa-bed, electric fireplace, a 42-inch HD TV and a small refrigerator for extra cold storage.

The dinette table is perfectly situated to enjoy the scenic views from the crystal clear windows. The full kitchen includes oven/stove top, toaster, a small fridge, microwave, Keurig, drip coffee maker and all the dishes, pots and pans, utensils you should need during your stay are furnished.

So Pretty - Loved the Birds!

This property is a great place to stay to visit the Hill Country! It was cute and the large windows were wonderful to look out on the property and great view to wake up to. The bird theme was fun! And we enjoyed watching all the birds in the feeders all around from our deck. It was a nice visit!

Restful and Beautiful

It was a restful space away from the bustle of our suburban life. We enjoyed visiting nearby Wimberly restaurants, and found rest and peace on the 4 beautiful, welcoming acres.

Perfect in every way

My teen and I needed a place to be "home base" for college visits in central Texas and this was PERFECT! From the location in the country (but still close enough to town), to the property (gorgeous), to the choice of furniture placement - everything was just what we needed. Some vacation homes either have furnishings that are so precious you're afraid you might break something, but Patrick and Suzanna have found the exact right balance of well-appointed and comfortable. Each piece is thoughtfully arranged to take advantage of the fantastic views. 12 out of 10 and we will definitely come back!

Wonderful birthday getaway

Beautiful location, convenient to Wimberley but out enough to escape. Fantastic sunrise and sunset views, and loads of privacy. Suzanna and Patrick were immediately responsive when we had our one issue with the lock. Other than that, we did not see them. All amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend away to celebrate my birthday. Took advantage of several listed restaurant recommendations but opted for dinner takeout so we could take advantage of the scenic surroundings with our glass of wine and serenity--even enjoyed some darts! Thanks for a great stay--we will be back!

Treehouse Retreat was a Treat I will retreat!

The property was beautiful exquisite and peaceful. Our family had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for better hosts! They went alive and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had no questions unanswered and even played a bit with our daughter! If you love a peaceful and beautiful landscape this is the escape for you! We most definitely would recommend to others and already have shared the information with 2 families about to go on vacation!! When we go on vacation again we would defiantly love to return!! Thank you hosts with the most!

Amazing Property!

The Treehouse Retreat exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved our weekend at this property. Everything about the property was so thoughtfully laid out - view points, amenities, local recommendations, etc! It was very clean and we felt at home there. We truly cannot wait to return and explore more of the Texas Hill Country!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The property was just as described. I was super impressed with the little details. Suzanna and Patrick really thought of everything- the perfect example is the wifi password. It was placed in no fewer than 3 places in the rental - anywhere you might think about wanting to connect, if you looked up, there was the password. The property itself is gorgeous! Great views, and so many birds! I loved watching the hummingbirds. Don’t let the fact that this rental is the lower floor of the hosts’ home deter you; while easily reachable if needed, you won’t even know they’re right upstairs. We will definitely rent again!

Very nice visit

We stayed 2 nights. The apartment has lots of large windows overlooking the beautiful property. We enjoyed having wine on the porch watching the deer at the feeder. We even saw a fox run across the yard while there. Easy access to Wimberley and Dripping Springs as well as the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center (well worth a visit). The apartment is large, very clean and well appointed. You will enjoy it too.

Breath Taking Views, Clean Air, Beautiful Accomodations and more.....

First of all, we could live here! It has everyhting you would need. Good internet connection, all the amenities, very soft towels and sheets, and anything else you could want for a nice stay. Wimberley is very close but you wouldn't know it. The Sunrises and Sunsets are just gorgeous. We saw deer and plenty of varieties of birds form the various bird feeders. Wife and I would walk around and sit in the many places where there were chairs to enjoy the views near and far. The pictures do not do it justice! We stayed 3 nights. The accomodations have windows everywhere. I can't say enough of how beautiful the surrounding area(s) and our VRBO was. They had DirectTV which we only watched for a couple of hours total. Beyond that, we just played games (that we brought) and took in the natural beauty. Also, Wimberley water is so soft, you will love it! I could go on and on but I think you will get the hint! ***** 5 Stars all the way! ***** Thank you again to the owners offering this place and its beauty to be shared. The Perfect Wimberley Retreat

All of the positive reviews are no fluke! Suzanna and Patrick have a truly wonderful home on some beautiful property, and they are kind enough to rent out a private area at a more than reasonable price (to say that the stay is worth the cost is an understatement)! I am a grad student working on a poetry manuscript for my thesis, and my goal was to get away to do some writing. Well, mission accomplished. The Treehouse Retreat is conducive to all sorts of out of the ordinary experiences, especially if you're used to a city environment. I saw plenty of deer and enjoyed listening to the birds sing alongside the sound of running water from the beautiful fountain. One of my favorite moments was when a fox came by---so cool to see! All of the views are spectacular, and there are plenty of spots around the few acres to sit and relax. The various vantage points with benches and chairs are thoughtfully placed. It's particularly nice to see the colors on the horizon change during sunrise and sunset. Inside, the aesthetic is wonderful, with no detail left unattended. The bed is extremely comfortable, as is the sofa in the living room. There are plenty of superb restaurants and other attractions close by. At the Treehouse Retreat, you're detached from the hustle and bustle without sacrificing the convenience of food, shopping, etc. I could go on and on about my special experience, but for those seeking a place to stay in Wimberley (or anywhere in the Texas hillcountry), look no further---just see for yourself!

My wife and I moved from Houston to Wimberley to escape hustle and bustle life style. We looked for 2 years on the weekends to find the perfect place. We were fortunate to find our Treehouse and its beautiful 8 acres. We purchased the house and property in 2017. We built A Treehouse Retreat-Luna Vista Retreat on the land above our house in 2018 in order to share our amazing place with our guests.

We fell in love with this property because of the amazing views and park-like beauty. Our property has 10 mile views of the Wimberley Valley and Texas Hill Country.

Unlike many rentals in Wimberley, we are blessed to have fantastic views of the Texas Hill Country, 8 beautiful acres with multiple species of birds, deer, raccoons, fox, and other amazing wildlife that can be seen daily on the property. The elevation is 1250 ft so there is almost always a breeze.
