PLACE DU PALAIS 3rd FLOOR, COSY APARTMENT IN THE HEART OF BORDEAUX

Nice 3 stars one bedroom apartment (34m2) completely renovated, very bright, and confortable. You have a living room with open kitchen (fully equipped) a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with bath and toilet.
It is located on 3rd floor with no elevator, in a nice XVIIIth century stone building, right in the historic district, right next to Porte Cailhau and Place du Palais. Close by you will find ste Catherine street the long pedestrian shopping area, the river is just meters away, as well as Place de la Bourse, and St Pierre district where you will find many restaurants, cafés and wine bars, and 5 minutes from St Michel area with it's markets, flee markets and antique shops.
You are close to shops, there is a little supermarket just 50 meters away, cultural sites, and you will be able to walk everywhere. Tramway stop « Place du Palais » is 20 meters away, as well as bike rentals (VCUB)
Equipment : linen et towels, TV, high speed internet, bed 140x190cm, sofa, equipped kitchen (washing machine, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, Nespresso, cooker)
Beware : area is mostly pedestrian (streets have controled access), only access is via Cours d'Alsace et Lorraine, but you won't be able to stop, so best will be to park before. Closest carparks are Bours/Jean Jaurès and Salinières (cheaper)

Lovely apartment, great location!

The apartment was spotless, attractive and well-equipped. We loved the location in the very beautiful Saint Pierre quartier of Bordeaux with its easy accessibility by foot, tram or rental bike. Our welcome was warm and we were given lots of useful information. Communication with HomeAwayStayz was excellent.

Wonderful

Fantastic little studio apartment right next to the Old Town and Place du Palais Tram stop on the A line direct to the airport, makes getting in an out a breeze, especially for those who haven't been to Bordeaux before. Also close to a Carrefour City mini supermarket and some great cafes. Property management office is very close, and the agent was super helpful, can't thank them enough. Easy instructions to access. Apt is on the 3rd floor (with steps). No A/C but opening the bedroom and street side windows allows a great breeze to blow through. Apt was clean, wouldn't call it high end luxury but it was really nice with good appliances, the bed was one of those firm but comfy mattresses, slept very well, street noise was ok with window open, silent when closed. Bedroom window opens onto roofs and silent. Great little kitchen, everything you would need. Wifi was OK, cell signal inside OK. Wish I could have stayed longer, lucky to get this at the last minute and would definitely stay again.

Parfait pour un court séjour

Ce petit 2 pièce est parfait pour un court séjour sur Bordeaux: bien situé, proches de très bons restaurants, du tram et du parking payant sur les quais. La chambre donnant sur la cour intérieure et sous les toits offre beaucoup de calme. Sauf dans notre cas, du fait d'une fuite d'eau du toit, il pleuvait dans le placard de la chambre. Mais Antoine a été réactif à notre message.

Great stay!

I really enjoyed Le petit apartment. The location was really nice. In the center but next to two great areas. The apartment itself was very clean and the bedroom faces interior so you get light and 100% privacy. It might be a little tight for two more than just a few nights but for 1 person I could easily have stayed longer.

Lovely Bordeaux apartment

Lovely small apartment in a perfect location near St. Pierre, ideal for walking and trams. Spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Only issue during our stay was non-draining bathtub. Stairs no problem for us but could be challenging for some visitors. Would recommend highly. Additional note: Closure of damaged tram line to the train station for extended period presents some difficulties as replacement bus service is inadequate.

Our Stay

Very nice property with an excellent location. A little difficult to fine the leasing office at 10:30 pm at night. That aside the staff and unit were well equipped to handle our needs. The only challenge for us who are both 76 years young-was the three flights of stairs and no lift. This was disclosed and we still liked the building, unit and location.
