Enjoy the beauty of Lake Palestine from the large wrap around deck overlooking the water. The open concept floor plan assures a great view of the lake from inside of the house. Our home is furnished with comfort in mind, so you can unwind and leave your cares behind. Plenty of outdoor seating for entertaining, along with a fire pit to make the perfect smores. The boat ramp is just a few houses down on the same street!
Come enjoy nature and the peaceful surroundings of Lake Palestine. Here you will love the open water views of the 25,000 acres of Lake Palestine. Truly a perfect escape for the weekend or the week. The house is just steps away from the boat dock. The dock is furnished with seating on the deck for tanning, or simply relaxing overlooking the beautiful view. Great location for fishing, swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, and boating! Enjoy excellent fishing right from the dock!


Master bedroom has a king size bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed. Room #3 has 4 twin beds (2-sets of bunk beds.) There is a futon that can sleep 2 in the living area.

This was our second stay at this particular lakehouse and just had a great time. The house, the boat dock, and the veiw are wonderful. Reasonable price, not too far from DFW, but far enough to feel like you are away from it all.

The photos speak for themselves. A beautiful setting in a house on the lake. All the amenities of a modern home with a deck, a wondrous view, plenty of room and with access to nearby convenience stores or takeout pizza or bakery goods. Had a many a soul soothing experience on the deck watching the waterfowl and sunrises. Property manager was an outstanding communicator.

Last minute weekend getaway
Lucky to find this property for a last minute getaway. Perfect location with wide beautiful views of the lake from the sunroom, deck and boat dock. Nice quiet neighborhood. Went swimming right off the boat dock and used the kayaks that came with the rental with no extra fee. Cindi was awesome, always available to communicate with and shared information about the area. Married 35 years to my husband, Gary. I'm a native Texan. I grew up in the country, spending most of my weekends on the lake fishing and camping with my family. Our children are grown now, so it's just us. We purchased the lake house to make memories and enjoy it with our children and grandchildren.
Newly purchased, Hideaway Cove is our second lake house, that's larger than our first lake home (Beachside Cottage). If you're looking for a lower priced rental, please check out Beachside Cottage on vrbo. I love that house!!! However, with more grandchildren coming along we needed a larger home to accommodate everyone.

Why they chose this property

This property has great water views and is located in a calm area of the lake. Which makes it ideal for watersports and fishing too. The house sits high and you feel like you are right on the water when you look out. It truly has amazing views.
