Enjoy our cozy ski-in ski -out condo in Stratton. This newly renovated condo offers a warm, welcoming stay with modern farm house charm! Located just above the base of the mountain, our condo is a stones throw from the nearest lift ( 200 ft) and a ski lovers dream. Unwind after a long day of skiing/snowboarding or take convenient 5 minute stroll to the Village for a bite to eat or some shopping.

The Space

After a day of activities, there is nothing like relaxing in front of the fireplace on a couch that's as dreamy as this one. Enjoy the big screen smart tv for entertainment or kick back and listen to music on the bluetooth speaker.

This fully renovated space offers a chef's kitchen with brand new appliances and a spacious butcher block countertop with seating. Dining table also offers space for 4. Kitchen comes equipped with cooking essentials to whip up a meal at home. Let the dishwasher do the work, and you unwind with a cocktail.

The living room is the ideal space to kick back with friends or family to play games, watch tv or just enjoy the comfort and mountain views. It doubles as the second place to sleep, where the sofa comfortably sleeps 2 adults (or 3 kids). It can easily be rearranged to create a spacious yet cozy bed. Or make use of the brand new comfy rollaway twin bed for additional guests.

Private patio off the dining area allows easy outdoor access.

You will wake up refreshed after a good night's rest in this comfortable queen bed. This room is bright, welcoming & warm. Furnished with a new bed & pillows it's ready for you to enjoy hotel like comforts with a tv & plenty of closet space. There is direct access to the fully renovated bathroom where you can enjoy a deep soaking tub as well!

Laundry? No problem. The unit is equipped with washer & dryer located in the front closet. The entry way has a built in bench to easily put on & remove your boots . The space also includes storage for your skis.

Unlimited firewood is available for the guests.

Great location & charming condo

Title says it all. We had a great stay, the location is super convenient to getting on / off the mountain and walking to the village for shopping / eating. The condo itself is cute and perfect for a weekend getaway.

Easy check-in! We felt right at home here! The pictures were 100% accurate, the place was super cute! Anything we needed was provided, all the added touches made this the perfect week!

Disappointed

Defiantly was NOT updated as there are rusty and bent/broken/ heating vent covers that are probably original and potentially hazardous. We’ve stayed in other Ober Tal properties which is why I can say this and compare. I’m not usually one to write negative reviews, but if you’re going to have a Business renting out property, for what we paid, it was disappointing. The Bed was so uncomfortable, I feel it was about 20 years old, mushy and soft. The Couch was also very uncomfortable. There was 3 inches of dust on the ceiling fan in the bedroom, the dishes and cookware were also dirty and needed to be re washed. The owners left us ONE garbage bag and we stayed for 5 days. In the description of the property amenities, it is listed that there would be some “supplies to get us started”. There was an old box of open pasta and a box of open Brown Rice. Luckily, for us, we always bring tons of our own food and condiments, because we like to stay in and cook some nights. The batteries in the remote were dead and no back up, so we had to email to get more. Couldn’t even find a pen to use when we were playing Yahtzee. All of these little things to add up to be a big disappointment. The reason we like to use VRBO is because it’s cozier and typically more like home if the Owners occupied the space from time to time. This space just made us feel like some things were thrown together, slapped some bad paint on the walls and here is some salt and pepper. Black Bear Lodge is better.

Nice Weekend Getaway

The lock on the door was practically ripped off, which was a concern. I was only given entry instructions the night before check-in, which I was not thrilled with. However, the condo was quaint and clean. Great access to the mountain and the price was right!

Nicely appointed slope-side condo

Very clean and well stocked one bedroom condo; exactly as per listing. I was there with my teenage son and there was plenty of space for just the two of us. Very easy (less than 5min in ski boots) walk to Tamarack Lift. We had a little trouble with the lock at check-in but owner was available and called back in short time to help get the door open. Very nice place, I would be happy to go back!

Great unit

Cute place, nicely decorated. Plenty of room for our family of 3 with one teenager. Owner is super responsive. We usually stay at Long trail house so this was first time at obertal and I chose it thinking it would be easier access to lifts. but it wasn’t . It’s not really ski in out. Solid five buildings to walk to get to Tamarack lift which is ONLY OPEN on weekends which was super frustrating. Very long walk to village and not doable with ice and trail was covered so not findable. Solid 12 minutes to hike to base w ski gear to catch open lifts during week. So really long trail house location is better. FYI village was ghost town, only one restaurant open, stores closed so not a place to go late in season which was also super disappointing. Snow was great but lots of trails roped off. My only complaint for the unit would be to have some dish rags/towels..,so we can clean counters n dry dishes. We only had one dish towel and there was also only two bath towels n no extra. So for three people it was lacking. Owners obviously don’t have teenage girls or know that most like one towel for hair and one for body.

Lovely, comfy, bright and airy space!

The apartment is nicer than any I have stayed in. Well stocked. The owner was very responsive. Big issue with locking front door that I was more involved in than I wanted to be but ultimately resolved. Wonderful location with regard to ski lift. Not really walkable in winter to the Village, especially at night - had to drive the two minutes and park. Overall great experience!

Stratton Mountain

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was a perfect location for skiing - walk to the lift, and for walking to the village for shopping/dining. Stratton has lots of activities and this was the perfect location to enjoy them. Definitely recommend.

Very nice stay!

We had a very nice stay at this Condo. The proximity to the lift was great for our family. We have two children ages 6 and 8 and it was so nice to boot up in the condo and walk 2 minutes to the Taramack lift. It was clean and comfortable. No funky smells, grime or dust. The couch and rollaway worked great for our kids(maybe not for a grown up.) The rollaway was firm. Caitlyn provided items like shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, laundry pods, even K cups, etc. which was such a nice convenience. She was also very responsive and checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome stay!

Even prior to checking in, Caitlyn was amazing. She was super Helpful and Informative. Gave us all the information we needed and all things to do in the area. From the moment we walked in, we felt so comfortable, my husband says I can be a bit high maintenance or boujie 🤣, so this was the perfect place for us. Extremely clean, decor was so beautiful and I just felt at home. We can’t wait to go back and when we do, there’s no place else we will stay. Thank you Caitlyn for having such a beautiful space to share with others. Totally worth every dollar spent.
