What a great secluded place. The views from the deck were incredible. Very clean, plenty of cookware, towels etc. no surprises, the cabin is what you see online

Wonderful getaway

It was a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Everything from the cabin to the area was wonderful. We enjoyed everything about it. The views were amazing and the hot tub added that much more. I loved the quaintness and detail of the cabin. It was very clean and cozy. The bed was so comfortable which made for a great nights sleep. We will definitely be back !

We absolutely loved our stay at Cedar Vista! The cabin had everything we could have asked for: privacy, an awesome view, a hot tub, and an easy drive to Wimberley, PLUS all the comforts of a home. We would definitely return!

Great get away!!

Everything was as described- teens had fun- horseshoes out back, grilled on gas grill, hot tub was nice and loved the peacefulness- close to Wimberly and San Marcos and Schlitterbahn

Peaceful Property

A great location just minutes from Wimberley. This log cabin is a great place to get away and enjoy restful peace and quiet. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck while watching birds gliding through the hills and valleys just beyond. The hot tub was relaxing as well. There are two other properties near by but you couldn’t tell, we felt as if we were the only ones there. Definitely high on our places to return to!

Beautiful house, amazing views, great location; wished kitchen had additional plugs for appliances and better lighting over dining table (for games) but being picky. Great choice---highly recommend!

The perfect cabin stay

This place was just what we were looking for. It's outside of town but there is a restaurant and gas station about a mile away. The property is open, well kept, beautiful with all the amenities. The inside was a special treat. Since we were there after the holidays it was decorated for Christmas with a small tree and stockings. It was such a nice touch especially with the cabin feel. We've stayed at a lot of rentals and this one was at the top. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. We'd def stay again!

Wonderful Stay!!

I was searching for the perfect place for a quick getaway for a couple of days and to propose to my fiance' All I can say is Wow! What a wonderful property with a gorgeous views to enjoy morning coffee from! The cabin iteself is beautiful and is secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet and just relax but also close enough to town! We had an amazing time and we will be back again, this is a weekend we will never forget!

Beautiful and Peaceful

My wife and I stayed here for a much-needed relaxing getaway. We barely left the property for 4 days. The beds were comfortable, the deck was spacious and well situated to take in the beautiful sunsets, and the hot tub was wonderful. The place itself is extremely cozy and well decorated. The fireplace was a very welcome feature. Property manager was nice and very responsive. The only blips we experienced were a small issue with the oven (one of the dials broke) and the presence of three large neighborhood dogs that kept coming up on the porch to investigate our snacks (they were nice enough dogs, and left when told, but kept coming back). These were very small details though, and overall this place was just lovely and perfectly suited our needs. Be aware that the rental is on a large property with two other rentals, and is somewhat close to the larger of the two (Rim Rock Lodge). There was a large group there the last 2 nights and we could definitely hear them partying, but you can't really see between the houses or hear the noise from inside, so it is still pretty private. Recommended!

We are a mother/daughters group that takes an extended weekend trip every year. Cedar Vista is in a beautiful location. The cabin had everything we needed. The firepit, hot tub, and barbecue area is spacious. The deck is large - perfect for some yoga practice with the sun going down. And the beds were very, very comfortable!! We highly recommend Cedar Vista.

It was a Fantastic stay!

We book this amazing home for my girlfriends birthday get away. It was supper close to the river and has amazing views! We had such a wonderful time, it was super clean and had a very home away from home feel. Definitely will recommend to others!

Beautiful Cabin with Breathtaking Views

The cabin was spotless and very charming with so much attention to detail. The view from the back deck is truly stunning. I would suggest bringing binoculars if you have them. Very close to San Marcos, Wimberly and Canyon Lake. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again!
