In town for a tennis tournament at Rome Tennis Center. The house and grounds are lovely, comfortable, quiet yet close to Broad St, grocery stores, and Berry College. The owner is readily available and responsible as needed.
We stayed at this house for a tennis tournament. It was perfect. Large enough to have personal space but cozy. This home is nicely kept up and beautiful. Ronnie provided helpful information and timely in responding. I will definitely stay here again.
Ronnie is a true southern gentleman and was very
accommodating of all of our needs! His house is beautiful, well appointed, and sits in a country setting just minutes away from downtown Rome. I would high recommend this VRBO property.
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend with my parents and children. The house was very clean and the owner, Ronnie, let us know all important information during check-in. The house was also big enough that everyone had their own space and my kids playing didn’t disturb my parents. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we saw several deer in the yard during our stay.
We loved our stay in this Rome home. Ronnie was helpful and communicative. Yes, he does live on the property but was very kind and respectful of our time in his lovely house. Beds were comfortable, outdoor fireplace was great, and there was a lot of room for us to spread out and enjoy our weekend.
Home is big & nice. Carport area is not tidy. He is ON property the ENTIRE TIME in an apartment behind the carport. Not in listing. This home is not handicap accessible. Text June 2023 when I requested to rent the property. Original-I am a native of Rome & my husband is in the military. We live in OH but my cousin & I are planning a bridal shower. The shower will be 4-6-24 approximately 2-4. I would be staying in the home. We are expecting maybe 30 ladies. Is this something you would consider?-it said no events. Owner- I would consider that but I need the dates. Me-I would check in 4-5-24 & out 4-7-24. Owner-6/19/23 Okay. I clearly asked permission & acknowledged the listing said no events. I was 100% full disclosure about the shower. 4-5-24-we met the owner at the house. The next day my cousin arrived to help set it up. Owner walked over to me & accused me, “I don’t know what you are planning but my listing says no events.” I said, “you approved this when I booked”. He said, “I did not.” His tone was extremely confrontational. He opens the back door & sticks his head in yelling my name. I come out & he instructs where to park. He was watching while we were throwing trash away. He confronted the bride as she was packing her car. His intrusive inappropriate accusing behavior added a HUGE amount of stress for what WAS previously approved. Would I rent here again? NO. Owner needs to understand renters expect autotomy & 100% privacy. We got NONE of that.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! Ronnie was a great host and his home is beautiful, so comfortable and well located!
I highly recommend this amazing home to rent if you come to Rome!
Five lifelong friends got together for our 45th high school reunion at Berry Academy and lodged at this beautiful house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- the gathering room was a great place for us to visit with each other! The art work and furnishings were quite inspiring, enriching our stay that much more! The prize was the outdoor fireplace and sitting area! What a treat! I especially loved taking a bath in the stand alone tub! 😜
This was a fabulous home for our stay. We had three guys playing in a team tennis tournament. The home was within 10-12 minutes of the tournament site which was super convenient. We were in a neighborhood that seemed out of town which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. we were greeted by several deer every morning and evening in our yard and the neighboring properties. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allowed us to spread out and have our own private spaces, and the common areas inside and outside were great to get together to visit and relax. We would give this property and our host, Mr. Burton, a 12 out of 10! We will look for this property if we are ever back in Rome. THANK YOU!
If I could give this home a 7 star rating, I would! The home is so beautiful, so clean, and the location was really perfect for our trip. The owner was extremely communicative, and I felt he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during our stay. Such a nice person! We stayed about a week and will definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling to Rome.
House was very nice. Incredible Master Bedroom. Perfect for our Family of 5. Location was great. All the deer were an added bonus. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here while visiting for our sons' college graduation. The home is beautiful and located in a quiet area but still close and convenient to everything. Ronnie was a gracious host and made everything easy - we would definitely stay here again!
This home is absolutely amazing! The pictures in the listing do not give it justice! Such a beautiful home on a residential drive! It’s on a dead end street so there isn’t a lot of traffic going by and there were deer a couple mornings in the backyard! Being a Travel
Agent, I am very picky about the places I recommend to my clients and this home would definitely be a high recommendation on my list if you are wanting to stay in Rome,Georgia !
This was a great property, that had plenty of room for our family of 5. It is located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood that is very conveniently located near downtown Rome and Berry College. The owner was very kind and easy to work with. We will definitely stay again when traveling to Rome. I would definitely recommend this property.
