The Capri is an oceanfront, high-rise building located in Ocean City, Maryland, facing both north and south. The condo is modern and inviting, and is the perfect spot to get away to the beach and leave all of your cares behind. A shared pool, tennis court, and sauna are available on-site, along with many other amenities. If you're looking to get a workout in during your stay, there is a gym and fitness facility not far from the condo. Children will have plenty to do between all the water-fueled activities and the game room! The living room area is spacious, offering comfortable furnishings strategically located near the flatscreen TV and the tall windows showcasing the view. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen for easy meal preparation and plenty of space for both dining and relaxing!

Located right on the water, you won't need to go far to dip your toes in the warm sand! Half a mile away is the Gold Coast Mall where you can find a plethora of shopping options, restaurants, and bars. Along the coast, you'll find several restaurants options or whatever you're in the mood for, there should be an option.

Things to Know
There is a $75 per week, cash or credit card non-refundable building registration fee due at The Capri, which includes one parking space. If available, additional parking spaces will be $10 per day or $55 per week per space.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice location

Disappointed

Let me start by saying my 3 daughters and myself had a great time. I do have to say I am very upset and disappointed with the room. Let me explain why. First it is decorated very nicely. The day we arrived we walked in and it looked like the carpets were not vacuumed. There are a lot of mirrors in this room and there were fingerprints everywhere and we’ll just not cleaned. Also dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Paying what I paid I expected to have a clean room. I did not expect to have to clean when I arrived. The vacuum downstairs does not pick up. Also there are many things that should be replaced. The shower head in master bath was held up by rubber bands and string and did not spray. The couch was so stained and just looked dirty. The carpets are extremely stained. Ocean City was great to room and condo not at all. The security guard at the front desk was terribly rude. I will not being staying at the capri again or using Vacasa. Also I did contact Vacasa when I arrived and saw conditions, his name was Nathan. He was aware I also asked if someone could kindly come to clean it. I received no call or email and no one ever got back to me. Poor way of doing business.

Beautiful Place

Everything was great there other than the cleaning BEFORE we arrived. I would recommend hiring new cleaners because it was like the cleaned in the dark without looking down. There were cleaning supplies so we gave the place a thorough cleaning before we were able to get comfortable and enjoy our vacation. Other than that the location was PERFECT, the views were beautiful, being right on the beach and close to places to eat were what we expected and that's what we got. I would definitely book this place again!

Great Getaway

Pros: Beautifully decorated-exactly as pictured on the website. Lots of amenities & plenty thoughtful extras from the owners,including blankets,new sheets,tide pods & beach chairs! (They’re in lockers @the parking garage) read the welcome book to get full details…we saw it too late!😑. The grands enjoyed it here immensely! Cons:Lots of dust-The rooms & glass doors/windows could use a thorough cleaning, Had to clean jets in the tub(black stuff came out…Vacasa responded immediately,though).I’m sad there are only 2 bedrooms(can’t bring all the grands here at once). Finally, If you’re afraid of heights…don’t look down! 😂

Very unhappy with Condo

We loved this condo when we first arrived, and quickly noticed that it was not vacuumed and the bedspreads were very gross with crusty stuff on them. Then our master bathroom shower head was lying on ground. After several maintenance trips, it was not able to be repaired. The guy "fixed it temporarily" but that lasted about 2 minutes and it fell again. We were never offered any compensation for not being able to use that shower during our stay. Well, yes they offered us 10% off our next stay, and that was only after I asked for some kind of compensation. This has left an uneasy feeling of renting from VRBO again, and I feel bad that the owners of this property probably have no idea that it is not being rented to guests as it is advertised.

The condo is beautiful and has a well stocked kitchen.

The views out of this condo are outstanding! It is a beautiful condo - I would rent it again. The only issue I had was with being told we could get a second parking space and the security guard told us no we could not and would have to use a municipal lot. And there was a miss communication of the fact that the building itself has a security code to get in as well as the condo code to get in.

Wasn't bad....some things though

When we got to thee room the view was gorgeous from the livingroom and our bedroom as well as the kids. Few things were upsetting to us though. The upstairs bathtub had jets we were excited to relax but they were filthy and covered in black mold. The shower head was broken in our bedroom shower and there were dirty towels left in both upstairs restrooms. There was blood on the couch seemed to set in and the floor didn't looked vacuumed and there was dust 😳. I don't think house cleaning did a very thorough job. The one shift security at the desk was arrogant and very rude to me and my family and we avoided him the rest of our stay. Other than that the room was amazing and we had an amazing time!

Great little apartment

The apartment was beautiful with nice views. The building is a little on the older side. However a couple of things really irked me. We had gone only for a two night stay - and the balconies the main pull (for us) for this apartment had been freshly painted. Due to which we couldn't use the balconies for an entire day - that's 50% of our stay! Why would you not inform your customer of the same in advance? Secondly, the hot water in the apartment was switched off - it took another call to the property manager after an extremely cold shower to fix this issue. The property manager office was prompt in responding however, when you are renting an apartment out these are some basic items that should be taken care of. It really spoils an otherwise perfect vacation.

Pet hair even though unit says “pet free”

The unit is nice and has great views. I wish they would’ve indicated somewhere that the owner had either a cat or dog though. My wife and son are both allergic and we purposely seek out units that are listed as not allowing pets. There was, however, noticeable pet hair in the carpets and by the second night, both were having troubles with their allergies which put a big damper on what was otherwise a nice vacation. The only other complaint would be the maintenance of the Capri itself. There was a dumpster overflowing all over the parking lot, into the driving lane and garbage piled up in front of the garbage shoot on our floor. Not a terrible trip but not sure we’d stay at the Capri again.

Awesome views

The apartment is perfect for a family with two kids or two couples. Kitchen is very well stocked. Two balconies with amazing views to the ocean and sunset on the bay. The building has a heated pool, closed because of COV-19 but really great otherwise. OC is the perfect place to enjoy the beach and ocean even off season and this apt is the perfect place to do so.
