Isle sur la Sorgue is a charming small town, called the Venise Comtadine.
It is famous for its pretty canals and its watermills with paddlewheels.
A kilometer upstream from the city, do not miss the show of the water divide where the river splits in two and makes a beautiful body of water, shaded by a generous vegetation.
For those who love beautiful things, Isle sur la Sorgue is also one of the most attractive cities for its village with antique dealers. It includes more than 250 antique dealers, either in groups of shops or in small independent shops.
These small antique shops full of treasures give a crazily romantic atmosphere to the city.
