Exceptional house!!
We absolutely loved the house, the location was perfect for walking to beach and resort pool area. The property was exceptionally clean. It had our dream kitchen and ceilings. This was the first house we have stayed in that had a pool, that was very convenient, we enjoyed laying out around the pool and going for a dip to cool off. Mark, was very accommodating, he even allowed us to extend our stay. Great memories were made with our family that consisted of three generations. Ages ranged from 86 to 18!! The elevator was a definite plus for grandma (and us when we were feeling lazy, lol). We highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future.

This is the life!
When we arrived and jumped in the pool the first thing my young daughter said was “Mommy, this is the life!” And I think that embodied our trip. Mark made sure everything was perfect and was so helpful before and during our stay. The place is cleaned really well - better than many other homes I’ve stayed in. Loved it!

Loved Southern Comfort!
It was a remarkable place to have a family vacation. First off, it was very clean which made for a very comfortable stay. Having access to the resort and the beach was also such a plus. Also, having the pool at the house was awesome. The location of the house was so nice with Barefoot Landing across the street. We would definitely book this house again and refer our friends to it as well.

Lovely stay at Mark’s home! It’s a beautiful house in a nice spot. Heated pool was fantastic (esp since the weather didn’t cooperate) and Mark was extremely responsive to all our questions and needs!

Home was very nice and close to the beach only a 5 min walk, or you could get picked up by the resort shuttle. Every room 3 of the 5 bedrooms have their own on suite and the other two rooms have a bathroom. We had a great time!

Family getaway
The property was beautiful. Elevator was invaluable for the grandparents of the group. Kids absolutely loved the heated pool. Mark was very accommodating. The water pressure at the sinks was minimal and the high heat burner at the stove not functioning properly; the other burners too low. A disappointment to this home chef. We would rent this home again.

Family Trip
This was our first family trip with 6 adults and 2 kids. We were nervous about finding a place to fit us all and this property did not disappoint. It was large enough that each family had their own room and bathroom with an extra room to spare. Everything was so clean and well put together. The amenities that came with the house was an amazing bonus as well.

Family Vacation
This house was perfect. It met all of our needs as a family. The location was not only beautiful but also perfect walking distance if we wanted to exercise and walk to the resort pool with the babies. We could see the ocean from this home, which I love. The pool in the back yard allowed us to still have sun time while the babies napped. Mark was amazing to deal with. Very responsive and informative of the area. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our family to relax and have our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Back to school vacation
Omg the pictures of this beautiful home don’t do justice.The pictures are beautiful but the house is more beautiful in person. We stayed at our pool more than we did at the resort pools and beach. We had ages running for 11 months to 79 and each and everyone loved it. It’s very spacious and has everything you want or need on vacation. Oh yea the elevator was a big plus as well. We are already booking for next summer. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Traveled to Myrtle Beach with the family and another family. Had a wonderful time. The house is fantastic. Beautiful pool and plenty of room. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach and resort pools and restaurants. Could not have been easier. The owners were fantastic also. Very responsive to any questions before and during the stay.

Perfect stay for a family
This property was everything it described and more. It was absolutely beautiful. There was more than enough space for our party of 10. Having access to the resort was an added bonus. We have been coming to this resort every year for the past 8 years and renting whatever available houses that fit our group. I think we have found the perfect house here. We stayed here while hurricane Ian was coming through. This house is solid, we felt safe inside despite the raging wind outside. Granted it was a hurricane category 1, so I can’t speak to a stronger hurricane. Mark, the property manager was super responsive, not to mention very kind to offer an early check in and late check out since there were no renters before or after our rental period. The house is just lovely and well cared for. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back next year, and the year after that.

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The house was exactly as described and absolutely spotless when we arrived. Mark was great to work with and always quick with all communication. The view of the beach was even better in person and we were within walking distance to the beach/resort. Amazing Vacation
"Southern Comfort" lived up to its name. The home was welcoming and you simply felt at home while you stayed. It was beautiful, spacious and comfortable for all 9 of us to enjoy. Mark was an exceptional owner, very responsive and even worked with us to get into the home early as we drove a distance to get to the home. Nice place. Great communication with property manager. House was exactly as described. Wifi a bit choppy. resort beach is really crowded, so we went down to residential areas to hang on the beach where it was less crowded. Pool was salt water which was great for my skin/hair. My son had a wonderful time and spent most of his time in the pool. Definitely recommend for a family getaway.

Multi Generation Family Trip
My husband and I travel every year with my parents, our 3 grown adult children and their significant others. This was a great property where everyone had their own space, but we also had great communal space to cook together, eat together, play games and hang out as a family. The private pool was our favorite spot after a day at the beach and for relaxing in the evening after dinner. Although we usually went out to explore the restaurants that were very close by for dinner , the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast/lunch and morning coffee and had everything we needed if we opted to stay in and cook for dinner. A nice mix of a private and quiet property, but also right across the street from Barefoot Landing, and so many other nearbyy restaurants, shopping and grocery. And although we only took advantage of the resort facilities a couple of times, it was nice to have that option of using resort pools, facilities and food options, in addition to having the private pool and neighborhood feel. Best of both worlds. We usually stay at a resort, or mostly at private houses. This property gave us both options which accomodated everyone of every age in our family. Thanks for a great week!

Yes, another 5-star review! Loved our stay! Mark was a fantastic host! Great communication and everything was as described, if not better! Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for the 8 of us to spread out as needed. Pool was heated, as requested, and was used every single day and night! Showers were great, as were the beds. Simple check in and check out process. The elevator was immensely helpful to my disabled husband. Location was perfect, and restaurants close. We loved Joe’s Bar and Grill and also Blueberry Grill for brunch! Didn’t even use resort amenities because the house had it all!
