This lovely oceanfront home is the UPPER LEVEL unit of a duplex. Perfect for a romantic getaway, this quaint property is located right on The Strand in Oceanside, CA.

Just What The Doctor Ordered

The place was comfortable, very convenient, and very well equipped. If you are looking for a place right on the Strand, where you can hear the waves crash, feel the cool breezes and be able to walk to everything..STAY HERE! We will be back!

Family Staycay

Stayed here with my family while our home was remodeled and had such a great time we extended our stay. Beachfront was communicative and accommodating. The property was clean and the location couldn’t have been better.

Beautiful view

We have been here 3 times and always love coming back to this cozy Vrbo. The view is amazing and it’s within walking distance to the beach and pier. Easy check in and great communication with the host. We loved it and will be back for sure!!!

Weekend Beach Getaway

With summer starting, my daughter and I were looking for a beach getaway. This home was perfect. It’s literally right on the beach with easy access to all San Diego has to offer and easily walkable to downtown Oceanside. Can’t wait until our next stay!

Oceanside Beach stay

The location was great! We got in after dark but upon waking we could see surfers and dolphins and crashing waves. It was fantastic. The accommodation was clean and cozy . Our only complaint would be how difficult parking was. It was a tight squeeze between the steel post and the other car that was parked there.

Love Love Love

This was our 2nd time staying here, and it will not be our last! This place is perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, a 3 & a 1 year old). This views are incredible. The place is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. This is a close walk to the sandy beach, pier and restaurants. You can even walk to a Thursday Farmer’s Market that runs twice (morning & night!). The management communicated well and offers easy check in & out! The patio is large, overlooks the ocean and is equipped with a BBQ and patio furniture for lounging while overlooking the ocean! We will be back!!!

Loved it!

We loved staying here! It was our second time at this property.. always clean. Very neat and good use of space. The manager was so kind and stocked it with a keurig..which was perfect for coffee looking at the ocean in the morning. Walking distance to the beach and pier. We will be back. Thank you again!!!

Relaxing beachfront getaway

Very Nice

Great spot for two people. Be careful when booking. We had two separate prices sent to us by the rental company! Top of the fridge needs to be cleaned. Guessing the cleaning crew aren’t very tall. Cobweb in the corner near the headboard also needs cleaning. Other than that very clean.

My mom loved it

Everything was great. Heaters weren't the best and it was cold but wasn't bad enough to need assistance. Might just want to upgrade them and baking sheets would be great. Maybe more bath towels, we just washed the ones there and reused. Over all it was great my mom has rented 3 before this place all on beach and this was her fave. Thank you

November Stay / Great Location & Unit

My husband and I stayed at this unit for 2 nights in November to celebrate both our birthdays and our anniversary, which are all within 3 days of each other. Our initial impression of the unit was very nice; loved the deck and view, interior was clean comfortable, it was set back from the street, and it was well insulated against noise. There were just a few minor issues. On our second night, we decided to make dinner instead of going out again. When I pulled the plates out of the cabinet, I got drenched with water that had been pooled on the plates. Whoever had cleaned the unit before we arrived did not even dry the dishes before putting them back in the cabinet. Two, at night it was too cold inside. I looked around for a heater and saw an small old wall heater, but the large bookcase was covering half of it. I looked around for blankets, but there were none. To watch T.V. at night in the living room I had to put on a long sleeve shirt, sweatpants, my jacket and wrap up in two bath towels to keep warm. Lastly, the toilet kept running and making a loud whistling noise, but my husband fixed that. Overall, I would love to stay here again. Comfortable, clean, quiet, great location, excellent views. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great vacation rental, just a few bumps to start

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect and normally this is one of or favorite vacation stays. This trip was a little disappointing. When we arrived the balcony screen was popped off and lying on the ground. The 2 side windows next to the locked front door were unlocked and not closed all the way. We had a large roach in the kitchen that was still alive. There was dirty baking sheets with food on them in the oven and a glass with lipstick on it in the cabinet. The steps going up has a loose step (if I remember it was the 9th step from the bottom).Normally the place is very clean. I always expect to do some spot cleaning upon arriving, but this trip was very disappointing. Our family loves visiting Oceanside and we love this rental. All of the units on this property are great. Overall it was still a great trip, just a rocky start.

Great location and view!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay on the strand! So easy to walk or bike everywhere. Our dog loved it too! The large second floor deck has amazing views of the beach and sunsets but it could use a table and chairs not just the loungers. The windows and fans work well but some of the blinds are rusty and feel like they're about to break when you pull on them.

Location, Location, Location

The highlight of this rental is in the beauty of its location~ on the Strand (which is busy) but the view of the ocean, from the living and deck areas, is spectacular. The rental is very comfortable and kitchen is well supplied for anyone who enjoys cooking. There is no air conditioning in the rental but not necessary as the temp in Oceanside, on the sea, is refreshing! Only complaint is that for the price of the rental we expected the deck and home to have more upgrades including exterior paint on the deck. We would return for another holiday to this rental!

Thanks for the beautiful memories here. One minor let down was the charges on extended hours because door code didn’t work on both ends. However, the assistant helped right away over the phone!

Great location

This property is close enough to walk to beach, pier and downtown, but far enough away to be a little quieter. It was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed. Big deck on top unit and wide doors that open up and let in the cool air and sound of waves crashing. Nice comfy king bed.

This was the best Mother’s Day weekend ever!

Thanks to the beach condo, everything was perfect! I had the best weekend and it was so wonderful that my dog, Buster, was able to be with me. The condo was better than the online pictures. The bed was super comfortable, everything was clean, organized and there was more than I needed. My friends joined me one evening for pizza and wine and we sat and gazed at the ocean waves breaking just 50 yards away. My family stopped by the next two days and even BBQ’d on the deck for a special Mother’s Day meal. Your questionnaire asked if anyone stayed with he… I answered “just me” as I was the only one who slept in the condo for the three nights. Friends and family did. visit, though, and were able to easily find parking down the street or up on Pacific and they enjoyed the short walk from the parking areas to the condo as it was all beach side walking - nice! Total number of people who joined me was 6 - all over the age of 35. The deck is huge! Everyone was very comfortable! The neighbors were all kind and no one was disrespectful of others. Noise was never an issue. A very peaceful weekend. Thank you
