Perfecto!

This apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed for an extended stay in Bologna. It was a 20 min walk to Piazza Maggiore with plenty of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants near by. Roberto and Marta were very thoughtful hosts. I would recommend this apartment if traveling in Bologna or it’s surrounds.

Delightful appartment

This apartment is beautifully decorated in French provincial style. It is very comfortable with interesting features. It is also provided with plenty of informative and or entertaining literature on the shelves. We stayed there as it was close to the historic centre with all its wonderful churches, museums and typical alley ways and buildings. We enjoyed the local cuisine at local restaurants. The walk to the station is only 15 minutes. I would have been happy to stay longer that five nights.

One of the best apartments we have styaed in

Marta and Roberto's apartment in Bologna is one of the best apartments we have stayed in on our various overseas trips. Its location was ideal for us, being located only 10 minutes easy walk from the train station in one direction and to the city centre in the other. A supermarket and quality restaurants are located within even shorter walking distances. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and clear, comprehensive written instructions were provided on the apartment, equipment, appliances, transport, local facilities and both local and regional attractions. The apartment fitout was modern, clean and very comfortable. Marta and Roberto were very welcoming and helpful in making our stay enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone considering a short or medium term stay in Bologna.

Beautiful apartment in great location

From the very first contact after booking this apartment I knew it was going to be a great experience. Marta and Roberto are so helpful. They sent me heaps of useful information about Bologna covering absolutely everything I needed to know. When we met them in person you knew that they would do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The apartment is beautifully decorated and they are so thoughtful in what they provide - even a soda stream in the kitchen . The location was great for us. A ten minute walk to the station and ten minutes to the historical centre. Bologna is an amazing place and we absolutely loved it. We did do train trips to Modena(Ferrari museum) and Parma with it's magnificent Duoma and Ferrara which is a fantastic place but most of all we enjoyed walking around the porticos of Bologna and finding great places for lunch. I cannot believe how few tourists come here as to me it is equally as impressive as Rome or Florence. I will definitely be recommending Casa di Marta to my friends and hope to stay there again myself one day.

Awesome place and hosts

What can we say about Roberto and Marta, other than they and their property are outstanding! Our flights were delayed and we didn’t arrive in Bologna until midnight, Roberto met us at the apartment with no additional fees and a welcome and smiles. The property is as pictured and was fabulous! Close enough to the action but far enough not to be in the tourist trap for restaurant prices. Great Stay in Every Way

Property central, clean, quiet, and spacious. Equipped with many extras, such as cables for phones and ipads in every room, everything you could need in the kitchen, and written suggestions for restaurants, with maps to show how to walk there. EXCELLENT hosts: welcoming, helpful when you phone, forthcoming with ideas for concerts and such. Cannot praise enough.

Absolutely perfect in every way!!!!

The apartment is even nicer in person than in the photos- tranquil- spotless- lots of natural light- convenient to everything. Roberto and Marta provide extensive and clear written instructions to everything you need in your native language - all appliances- restaurants- shopping- day trips- local tourist sites- etc.we were in the apartment for 2 weeks and really enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was perfect. Roberto and Marta are so friendly and helpful. They have done everything to make sure your stay in their apartment goes smoothly. We hope to come back soon and have no reservations in recommending this apartment .- it is perfect- well appointed- modernized and well equipped.

Flawless

We stayed a total of 12 nights from 12/18-12/30/24. Family of five; two generations with three in their early 30s. This contemporary apartment is exactly as described: very well taken care of, emasculate, everything is in excellent working condition and the owners have not overlooked a single detail. Bologna is a wonderful eclectic and lively city that is very easy to traverse on foot. The apartment’s location is perfect and allowed us to walk to and from the train station to visit Florence, Pisa, Modena, Ravenna, Parma, San Marino and Venice for day trips as well as enjoy days and evenings in wonderful Bologna. The hosts are available to help with tips and advice throughout and are amazingly patient with those new to the city. We left our beloved Parmesan cheese that we bought in Parma and Roberto did not hesitate to ship it express to us. I have traveled internationally for over 55 years and between the five of us, we have visited about 70 countries and stayed in about every kind of accommodation from “salty” to luxury and this will be one of our all time favorites. If you stay here, I implore you to treat it respectfully and with care. These owners deserve that at the very least. Happy New Year, Marta and Roberto!

Wonderful clean beautiful apartment

Our family came to visit and take day trips to Venice and Florence as well as experience the food and culture of Bologna. We even saw a Serie A game Bologna vs Lecce. Roberto and Marta make sure that you are taken care of in every way. It feels like a home away from home.

A Remarkable Property

We are three adults who have traveled all over the world and this was one of the finest rentals we have had. First of all and most importantly, the apartment was immaculate, spacious and everything worked. The location was perfect with walking distance to all important sites. It was easy to maneuver to our apartment since there was an building elevator. Our landlord, Roberto, provided us with many guides to restaurants, musems, and other notable sites, all of which he wrote himself. We visited 5 of his suggested restaurants and we were not disappointed. Roberto was also availble to answer questions about our day trip to Venice. The best part was that in the kitchen was a wall clock with Bologna time along with a clock with our USA time ! When we return to Bologna we are staying with Roberto.

Beautiful apartment in Bologna

Extremely well appointed and eclectically decorated apartment. Take the time to notice the artwork and the creative decor. The location is perfectly suited for walking to historic sites, local culture spots and great restaurants, most of which were recommended by our hosts. We felt at home as soon as we got there. Clean and well appointed apartment

My daughter was moving to study in Bologna. We stayed at Roberto and Marta’s to purchase apartment items. Roberto and Marta gave us so many recommendations from stores to how to use taxis. I cannot recommend this gem of an apartment and the people who come with it.

Wonderful stay in Bologna!

This apartment was the perfect home base for our visit to Bologna! The location allowed easy walking access to the main square as well as the train station. We enjoyed visiting the many local cafes and restaurants. The apartment was inviting and had all the comforts (and more!) of home. Our hosts provided extremely useful guides, tips and suggestions for our visit which allowed us to find some areas we otherwise wouldn’t have discovered. We would definitely return to this apartment for a future visit!!

Wish we could bring this apartment back to NYC

I do not even walk around my apartment barefoot. They kept the apartment immaculate. It wasa pleasure walking around the apartment on the cool marble flooring. The apartment was super spacious. The pictures do not do it justice, it was a pleasure staying there. We didn't even want to leave it. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. It is clear Roberto and Marta take pride in their apartment and in being great VRBO hosts. The art and little details are wonderful, clearly much thought went into designing this apartment. We would recommend this apartment when staying in Bologna. If you are staying there check out Bar 37 down the block great aperitivos and friendly service.

Luxury Oasis in Bologna

Beautiful apartment in Bologna

The apartment was very large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were fabulous and the kitchen was well appointed. We also appreciated the washer/dryer. We were any easy walk to all of the cultural attractions in Storico Centro as well as dining, shopping and the supermarket. The train station was within walking distance as well.

Fantasy apartment!

We had a great stay in Roberto’s apartment. He met and greeted us warmly as we got out of our taxi. The apartment location was very convenient, walking distance to all the attractions and close to the train station. There is a supermarket half a block away. Roberto has an extensive listing of restaurants and information on day trips to nearby cities/towns you can take on the train. He even has a QR code you can scan to get the train app on your phone. The train app was very convenient to get train tickets without having to go to the ticket office or worry about printing tickets. He called us a taxi on the morning of checkout and was very helpful answering our questions. He even booked us a reservation to a wonderful restaurant on New Year’s Day when we were having a difficult time finding a restaurant that was open or not already booked. We stayed with our two adult sons for 9 days, and with two nicely sized bedrooms and three full bathrooms there was plenty of space and very comfortable. Thank you Roberto! We will definitely be back!

Very good location and easy access beautiful apartme

Very nice owners. Had us some refreshments on ready upon arrival. We were very comfortable in the spacious 3 bathroom flat. It had everything including great linens and w/d and nice beds. We were extremely happy staying there and especially when train is 10 minutes away walking. Coffee easy to find. Pizza across street. Just perfect. We felt very safe.

Stop your search - you've found your perfect place in Bologna

We just spent a wonderful week at this spacious, modern apartment in the heart of Bologna. The hosts were terrific and have included a number of helpful recommendations on sights, restaurants, shopping and other excursions in this incredible city. The kitchen and bathrooms are very up to date and while the apartment is just steps off a main thoroughfare, it is quiet and gets a ton of natural light. Would highly recommend.

A lovely place to stay in Bologna!

We spent 8 nights at the apartment and found it to be very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and conveniently located. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the marble floors were beautiful. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the train station and a 2 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket. There are plenty of nearby restaurants to chose from. The hosts, Marta and Roberto, were very responsive and always helpful. We could not have been more pleased, and would happily stay here again!
