Very warm and welcoming cabin. Plenty of room for all of us. We gathered around the central fireplace regularly. There is a nice easy trail that starts from the parking area of the cabin. Short walk to pier and the Lake. Short drive to everything you need. What more could you ask for. Hope to stay here again.
Easy walk to the private dock. Trail makes for easy 2 mile walk to Sunnyside and West Shore Market. House is clean and updated, plenty of room for adults and teens. On the pricy side but we loved everything about it.
We had a wonderful stay on the West Shore in this home. Our 4 children (1 - 7 years in age) loved the upstairs bedrooms and the spiral staircase.
The fireplace was incredible. Everything was clean and the property looked even better then the pictures. The open space behind the home was great for walks and having the lake just down the street was wonderful. We'll definitely be looking to stay here again sometime in the future.
Our family enjoyed our stay, loved the proximity to walk down to the lake and use the private pier for swimming and fishing and the walking path into the woods right behind the house. Our family has been going to Meeks Bay for 40 years so we loved that it was only a 10 minute drive to get to. The A-Frame house was super cool and the interior was clean and uncluttered. We felt safe and the house stayed cool despite how warm it was outside. We will be back, thank you!

Was accused of doing damages we didn’t do. With literally no actual proof. Have documentation stating they found the damages June 28 when we didn’t even check out until the 29th. What a joke....

Reviewer Comments:
We had a great stay in this cabin - the location was everything. 6 adult family members and one toddler4 made this our home for a few wonderful days. Our only concern was that in 90 degree weather, the upstairs bedrooms get terribly hot, especially at night, making sleeping uncomfortable. Packing up on our last day, we discovered a fan in a lower bedroom, which would have helped a good deal upstairs. No air conditioning, and too few fans made us want to open the slinding doors, but our fear of wandering bears put an end to that.
This house was exactly as advertised. Very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Plenty of rooms and beds. Great for a large family or family reunion. The location was wonderful: close to the beach, hiking, biking, playground, and the private dock. We rented a boat for a day and pulled right up to the dock to load up the family. So convenient to grocery, dining and fun activities. We would definitely recommend this house and stay here again. The circular fireplace was a hit, even in summer. thank you for sharing this wonderful home.
great spot for our grandkuds to play in the forest, walk to the lake with family. All generations enjoyed large family room area with low deck. Safe for 2 year old.

Reviewer Comments:
The home was very close to the lake, making it easy to carry our kayaks down. It was great having a designated pier to settle down next to. The home was quite large and perfect for a family with children who are still playing with toys on the floor. Beds were comfy, the place was immaculate.
We spent 7 days at this cabin June 2020, 6 adults and 3 teens. It fulfilled all of our requirements: west side of lake, walking distance to the water, large deck, comfortable common area for people to relax together, dining space for everyone, and close to town (Tahoe City is less than 10 minute drive). We cooked most meals at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. The only downside for us was that we are a family of tall people, and because the twin-sized beds upstairs are tucked up head-first against the sloping ceiling, it was difficult for tall folks to sleep there without their feet hanging off the end of the bed. It was no problem for the shorter ones. We would love to stay there again sometime.
This Cabin has everything a family needs to have a good time . Its access to the Snow Park and Homewood ski resort made staying here a breeze. Everything in the house was as they said . The best thing of the whole stay was the Fire place very accomondating for Family time conversations.
