About this property

This property is a personal labor of love in our family. This unit has been completely remodeled. This unit was built approximately 25 years ago when a penthouse was a penthouse. Today along the grand strand, most top-level floors are just the same as all the floors below. But this unit is completely different. To our knowledge, the Palms Resort is the only property in Myrtle Beach with two-story penthouses. Also, we know of no other property in downtown Myrtle Beach with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. This is truly a unique vacation opportunity.

You will find a full-size kitchen to host your meals and entertain. The living room features a two-story wall of glass overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. As you relax on one of our oversized balconies, you not only will enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean, but you will also have a one-of-a-kind view down the beach looking south. We have two oceanfront bedrooms with oceanfront balconies, and the two rear bedrooms have large windows looking down the beach and a small private balcony.

The master suite is truly in keeping with the penthouse style. You will find a king-size bed, large private balcony, a mini-bar with a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and his and her vanities. All fixtures and vanities are covered in beautiful granite and tile are throughout. Probably the best feature of the master bath is the separate shower and bath overlooking the ocean.

The kitchen is completely remodeled with natural wood cabinets covered with rare blue and silver granite. All appliances are replaced as necessary. All cooking utensils are furnished. And as said before, it is a natural for entertaining.

The furnishings throughout are in keeping with the tropical “Tommy Bahama” look. All walls are freshly repainted every winter, and there is tile floor throughout. The exception is carpeted stairs between the first and second stories for safety.

Also, any fireplaces seen in pictures are nonworking fireplaces.

Couples vacation

We had 4 couples in our group. Plenty of space for everyone so it didn’t feel too crowded. Loved the keyless entry so we could all come/go separately & not worry of losing keys on the beach. Felt very safe & secure staying here. The views from the balconies were amazing!!! Found everything we needed in the kitchen for fixing meals & snacks. Great location with many stores & restaurants within walking distance, and many dinner shows within a short drive. We had wonderful weather & really enjoyed our stay!!

Thought it was for comfy and nljist the way we expected it. Only thing was we thought there was a grill on site somewhere. Only one suggestion.. cleaning crew may want to sweep under beds and around dressers. Otherwise it was perfect!

Myrtle Beach Penthouse

This was a family trip for Spring Break. Penthouse was spacious and all amenitieswere as advertised. Building is steps away from the sand. Entrance to the building and parking were easy. Communication with the owner was excellent from the momment we booked, throughout our stay, and departure. Our trip was wonderful and relaxing and I would stay at this property again and highly recommend.

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was perfect for what we needed. This was the first time our immediate family was able to get together for a holiday vacation. BEST BEACH TRIP EVER

Everything in the description and positive reviews is 100% accurate. Not much I can add to previous reviews. The PH is perfect for a family beach trip. We’ve been to the beach many times and this was far and away the best trip ever. The owner Kevin had all the bases covered and made everything effortless. Cleanliness, views, location, check-in, comfort level, building staff and amenities were all top tier. The PH is truly wonderful. Don’t hesitate to rent this property Just do it. Oceanfront Penthouse

The unit and the view were excellent, but we were disappointed at the cleanliness of the penthouse upon arrival. We contacted the owner only to find out that the issues at the earliest could not be resolved until late the next day. We ended up correcting the issues ourselves in order for everyone in our group to feel comfortable. Wasn't expecting to do the work of housekeeping on our vacation.

Family vacation

We love to stay in Myrtle Beach! Clean beaches, lovely, water, and lots of things to do. Our stay at the penthouse was lovely. The condo was large enough for our family and the views of the beach were spectacular. Would definitely go back again.

If your looking for classic Vintage bohemian vibes, gorgeous Atlantic Ocean views and convenience of being close to restaurants, boardwalk, Sky View and tons of quaint local boutiques..look no further.. You could literally sit on the Terrance’s morning noon and night and be happy.. Then you add access to heated out door and indoor pools and hot tubs, surrounded by the ocean.. Perfect for family vacations and ladies retreats or any event requiring 8+ sleeping arrangements. Kevin is amazing with accommodations and communication… Will book again!

The Palms Penthouse #2 provided us w a very nice spot for our Myrtle Beach vacation!

This property provided three balconies w full beach views!!!!! Even our teenage child was impressed! 🤣 The kitchen was large and provided a comfortable and enjoyable space for meal preparations! The master bedroom was excellent, w it’s own large soaking tub, separate tiled shower, two separate vanities, and a wet bar!! All the rooms had large closets that made organizing a snap! The property owner was very easy to reach and provided accurate and timely communications!! Check in was a snap! So easy…. Parking was provided for two vehicles.. Overall, a great time was had by all!

I've been going to Myrtle Beach for 50 years. This condo is unique in that it is a true Penthouse. All properties have a top floor, but it's just the same floor plan as all the other floors. Please take a look at the picture and floor plan, and I'm betting you've never seen anything like it in Myrtle Beach.

What makes this property unique

The biggest benefit is the view. It's the best I've ever seen in Myrtle Beach. The balconies are large enough for groups to have morning coffee or evening cocktails. Also, everyone having a private bath is a huge benefit.
