The home is also close to all downtown activity, plus three natural hot springs locations (about a 12 min drive). This home comfortably suits any occasion. One can slip away in the comforts of country living with all the city amenities. Shopping, skiing (35 mile drive), hunting, Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad, relaxing, soaking in the hot springs, or reading a book along the river. Wonderful Getaway

Awesome Last Minute Getaway

We were looking for a last minute getaway with kiddos and this place was awesome! The house was clean, well-equipped (blankets, towels, everything in the kitchen), and had all the things we forgot. The views of the lake and hot air balloons in the mornings gave our evening walks around the neighborhood and seeing 8-10 deer a run for perfect pictures. Steph’s communication was quick and her suggestions were spot on! Great time for all!

Great place to stay in Pagosa

We enjoyed our stay at this property! Good communication with Steph from the outset. The location is good, just a little ways out from the main road through Pagosa. Short drive to get groceries or whatever you need. The house is well stocked with every cooking utensil you need and then some. Also a lot of the basic stuff, spices and condiments etc. that you might want. The coffee/tea bar in the kitchen was a nice touch. The property is obviously well cared for and felt like home for the couple weeks we were there. Just the two of us this time but if you are with friends or kids the separate floors and will allow for some peace and quiet. Nice location with a partial view of the lake and a great porch to sit on while you relax. The neighborhood deer are frequent visitors. Thanks for the hospitality and we hope to return!

Perfect for a quick getaway

This home was perfect for our little getaway. The home is spacious and fully stocked with everything you could need from kitchen supplies to games and movies. We loved the view of the lake from the front porch and enjoyed drinking our coffee out there in the morning. We also appreciated that they were pet friendly so that we could bring our two small dogs with us instead of having to leave them behind. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Perfection

The location of this home is perfect. The views of the lake and the mountains from the deck are breathtaking. The home is very welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need and more. The best part was sitting out of the deck watching wildlife and enjoying the weather. Communication with Steph was prompt and courteous. We enjoyed the area and the home very much and plan to return.

Quiet place with gorgeous view!

First of all, fantastic hosts! Quick & easy to communicate with, very accommodating. Great location & neighborhood. House has a lovely 2nd floor balcony with a fantastic view. It rained off & on and we found it hard to leave the house because it was just so peaceful to sit on that balcony. Very clean home, well stocked kitchen. Loved this place and look forward to returning!

Great location and layout

We have stayed in this home many times and will keep coming back. We love the views from the porch and the layout, especially now that our daughter is getting older and appreciates the added privacy of the downstairs apartment.

Great Porch

We really enjoyed to Pagosa home, it was comfortable and really well equipped. We loved the front porch and spent most evenings sitting out there, the view is great and it is very quiet.

"Happy Place" really is HAPPY

This was our first experience with a VRBO property and quite frankly-this property, the property managers, and overall experience was so amazing that we cannot imagine anything that could have made it better!
