Easy connections with the city through a bus service (no. 806), which connects Mondello Palermo. Free shuttle service for the whole summer period in the tourist-resort of Mondello. Wonderful View

Lovely place and just as described. The view from our place was wonderful….waking up to the ocean how can you not like that. Dario and his mother were lovely and very accommodating.

The best stay for Mondello!

Dario was the nicest and most accommodating host. He was very communicative and helpful. The apartment was so squeaky clean! Air conditioning was great. Kitchen is fully equipped. The beds had the nicest memory foam top that honestly was the best sleep I’ve had during my two weeks touring (having already stayed in 3 other places). The view and location is even better than the pictures. Sitting on the balcony, sipping some prosecco and just watching the street life passing by was great. You are literally at the waters edge. Located right across the road is a boat rental business that does amazing excursions.. the market, pharmacy, restaurants and shops are all a few steps away. Right below there’s a little out door bar that plays fun music, it’s perfect for an aperitivo.. cocktails are $8. The church is next door, and the bells do chime on the hour, but you get used to it really quick. It just becomes part of the vibe. We could not have chosen a better spot, or a better way to explore Sicily. This stay has been the peak of our vacation. I don’t recommend renting a car or driving.. the locals are on another level with driving and it was too scary for me. Even just being a passenger in a cab. From PMO, the cab ride out to Mondello is about $50-60. Even though Dario does his best and equips the apartment with plug-in mosquito deterrents.. bring and use mosquito repellent! You can’t really see the bugs, but you will wake up with bites. Luckily the Pharmacy is right below if you need anything lol. 10/10 would recommend and want to stay there again, and bring all my friends. Grazie Mille Dario!!!

Best place to stay in Mondello

Everything about this place was great. It’s in a perfect location, near the beach, piazza, pharmacy, restaurants and stores. The apartment is cosy but spacious, all ACs work very well. Dario the host was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended

The scenery is Beautiful from the living room. Fabulous place. Views are picturesque!!

Perfect

This apartment suited our holiday perfectly. We loved the location, even the church next door with its chiming bells added to the ambience. Everything is on the doorstep... bars, restaurants, beach, boats, bus, supermarket and shops. Mondello is small but big enough to give the variety needed for a week away. The apartment was spotless, spacious and bright. We appreciated little things like a good hairdryer, plentiful washing up liquid, hand soap and toilet roll. plus the change of bed linen and towels half way through the week was a thoughtful touch. Dario is a great communicator, punctual and just round the corner if needed. Thank you Dario!

Conforme aux attentes; super emplacement; logement propre et installations récentes (clim volets...)

L'acceuil a été très sympa, nous hôtes nous ont bien reçu. L'appartement est très sympa ; mur et carrelage récents et propres; climatisation efficace dans toutes les pièces à vivre et mode silencieux appréciable; ménage effectué avant l'arrivée et au milieu de la semaine; cusine correcte; pas de lave-linge ou lave-vaisselle; plage située à 100m. Des épiceries et autres magasins sont à moins de 100m. Un bar situé en face de l'appartement joue de la musique le soir, il faut donc prévoir les bouchons d'oreilles si on est sensible aux bruits la nuit, les fenêtres sont bien insonorisées, et les volets cachent bien la lumière. Les couchages sont de qualité ( lits de 160 dans les deux chambres), c'est important pour nous, sans doute l'essentiel avec la clim. Le canapé dans le salon peut servir de lit d'appoint. Serviettes de toilettes (3 par personnes), et gels douches sont compris. Rangements dans les chambres bien dimensionnés. Grande table dans la salle à manger/ salon avec vue sur mer appréciables. la vue sur le port, la plage et la mer est magnifique. Pour ce qui est du parking, c'est le point noir pour le week-end surtout : j'ai voulu faire des courses avec la voiture le dimanche matin, j'ai quitté mon emplacement et impossible de trouver une place pour me garer au retour(30mn de recherche) , les plages étaient bondées et nous sommes partis pour la journée en voiture à Terrasini. Donc pour le parking, il faut acheter des tickets dans une guérite sur la place a 50m, 1€ de l'heure et apposer chaque ticket de 1€ sous le pare-brise. En semaine vous pouvez trouver des places sur les emplacements bleu payants. C'était en juillet 2019, en août je ne sais pas. Les plages sont presque toutes payantes sauf quelques emplacements bondés. C'est le point noir de Mondello. Les soirées sont agréables et vivantes, la passegiata sympa... Au global un très bon séjour.

Incredible view

The apartment was clean and well maintained. A perfect location in front of the harbour and close to the beach. There is a lot of noise from the chiming of the church bells when sitting on the balcony during daylight hours, but we got used to them. Otherwise the apartment is very quiet and the beds comfortable. Dario was a perfect host and very responsive to our needs.

Posizione e vista favolosa, appartamento senza pecche.

Ottima esperienza in questa "Casa Fortuna" che è ubicata proprio sopra il porticciolo di mondello e che vanta una invidiabile vista mare. La casa è grande, luminosa e pulita, adatta a famiglie o a gruppi di persone. Tutto in ordine e accoglienza affidabile. Lascio un paio di consigli ai gestori, l'uno di curare un po di più l'illuminazione - esempio seconda camera senza abat jour, lampadario di sala con lampadine tutte diverse tra loro - e l'altro di fornire più appendi abiti sia in bagno che nei locali. La consiglio vivamente e se torno a mondello la cerco di nuovo.

Mondello retreat.

Nicely situated (close to the beach) and clean unit. Helpful owners. A couple of good local trattorias. Was far out from Palermo ~1 hour bus rides.

ottima location!

Appartamento curatissimo e pulitissimo. Posizione eccezionale. Proprietario e famiglia tutti molto gentili e disponibili. Unica pecca il frastuono notturno nei festivi e prefestivi (e siamo stati ad inizio giugno) che giunge dai locali limitrofi e si protrae anche fino al mattino. I serramenti tuttavia sono abbastanza insonorizzati.
