Heaven in the Irish Channel

Love this house, would stay here again in a heartbeat. Owners were helpful and informative. Great location, far away from the madness of Bourbon Street(only 12mins away by car) Great restaurants, grocery stores and plenty of shops on Magazine Street. Close to museums as well. Love the sound of the freight ships blowing their horns in the morning as they head down the Mississippi River in the mornings. Will stay here again for sure.

Very Nice

Our oldest was graduating from Tulane and this property was perfect for my spouse and our 2 teenage children It was close to Magazine street and and walking distance to great food and shops. The house itself was great. Well kept and clean. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. Would stay there again if we ever visit our oldest

Wonderful spot!

We really enjoyed our time at the property. We were a party of 4--two adults, two kids. Sleeping accommodations were great. The house was very well-equipped for such a stay. This property is within walking distance of several great restaurants on Magazine, in addition to having extremely close proximity to Atchafalaya Cafe. Really a great jumping off point to get anywhere in the City. My only concern heading in to our stay was parking, which ended up not being a concern at all. We were able to park on the street directly in front of the house for 90% of our stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

Chez Jay a "Must Stay"

Felt like house sitting for a friend. Very walkable, friendly neighbors, free street parking available in front of house. CLEAN. CLEAN. CLEAN Great climate control (coming from 24° weather we hadn't considered the humidity 😁😁 ) Easy operating lock / alarm system. Lovely decorating, nice books on local events and history. Good beds. 23 y/o comfortable on the single bed. Handy extras like sunscreen, coffee filters, laundry soap, bluetooth speakers. games. Enjoy morning coffee on the sunny front stoop chatting with neighbors or in shade on the back patio for solitude. Lyft XL $20 or less to Warehouse/French Quarter. Good restaurants & shopping as soon as you reach Magazine St. (From $ - $$$) check out the Daily Beet if you'd like some AMAZING plant forward breakfast/brunch. Visit Rum House for Carribean Inspired tacos, nachos,.jerk chicken, cocktails. etc NOLA Newbies. Definitely planning to return. Hoping Chez Jay will be available!

AMAZING stay in NOLA!

We stayed at Jeremy's property for a girls' trip and it was AWESOME! We've always stayed in the Quarter and changed it up this year to stay here, and we will definitely stay here again. The property was in the perfect location. Quiet but close enough to Magazine Street for food, shopping & drinks. Jeremy gave us lots of tips on what to do like going to Breaux Mart as soon as we arrived for snacks & booze, so we hauled the provided wagon down there to fill it up. He also recommended Rum House for the nachos & margs, and you definitely can't go wrong with either! The house was great. It was nice not being in a hotel and having space to hang out while others slept in or napped or go ready for the day. Kitchen was well equipped along with laundry supplies, a small hair dryer (which works great!), and linens. We did buy a large shampoo & conditioner at Walgreens to share while we were there but there were also some small travel items there, too. The outdoor space was great for hanging out in the afternoon/evenings as well. We lucked out and had good weather, too, so we did spend some time out there in the evenings. We went to the Bull Dog bar a few times for happy hour (good specials!) and enjoyed The Vintage for beignet bites and mimosas one morning before brunch at Basin (good food and bottomless mimosas!). We used the Jazzy Pass for transportation on the city bus which worked out great! It was only $3 for a 24 hour pass and there are several bus stops really close to the house. It was much easier than Ubers/Lyfts and much more affordable although we did use those, too. I would highly recommend this property and hopefully when we plan to go again, it's available because it was absolutely perfect!!!

Perfect Getaway!

The shotgun house was just the right size for a group of three adults. The space was clean and thoughtfully designed with a charming and fun vintage aesthetic. Street parking was easy. There was a wonderful locally owned restaurant less than a block away, with fabulous cocktails and creative dishes (Atchafalaya). Magazine Street was within walking distance, and it was easy to get to the busier French Quarter, Bywater and Treme areas. Jeremy was quick to answer questions and their welcome folder was very helpful. Cannot wait to come back!

Great location and home.

This is my favourite section of New Orleans. Close to Magazine Street, but off the beaten path a bit. Nice home, typical of the area. Owner is wonderfully responsive. Would stay again anytime.

Final Four extended weekend

The property was exactly as pictures/advertised. Worked for a family with adult children but more ideal for young children - no surprise, however. In a very convenient area to Magazine Street, St. Charles trolley to downtown and NOLA Brewing. residence completely updated. Would not hesitate to stay again. Neighbor was friendly and very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Historical Shotgun with Serious Style and Comfort

Jeremy’s home is a historic shotgun-style home which has been beautifully updated for comfort and style. It was a perfect place to return to with my travel partner after a long, fun day exploring the city. The location is wonderful, just a couple of blocks from Magazine St.. We spent the first couple of days touring the Garden District on foot, and were able to easily return to our “home away from home” for a snack or beverage then back out again. Quiet and peaceful at night. Shared back yard area, but we never saw the residents of the adjoining unit. Jeremy was very prompt and helpful when i had questions. If/when I return to NOLA, I hope to stay here again!

Perfect for family during Mardi Gras!

The host was so helpful and accommodating. We drove in during a parade and he was able to direct us to the property with all the road closures. Place was so clean and the back porch was awesome for getting away from the bustle of the city. Kitchen was state of the art and perfect for easy home cooked meals for the kids. The owner lent us a ladder and wagon for Mardi Gras, which was awesome for the kids. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for a former nola resident

As a former nola resident who lived in the neighborhood, this property was perfect for a family trip for the mardi gras season. Jeremy was extremely responsive to our needs and communicated quickly to help ease our arrival. Jeremy handled an unexpected situation professionally and made sure we were comfortable. Property is as pictured, clean, with everything you will need in this home away from home. Even the neighbors are friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Everything!

This was our 3rd trip to NOLA and Jeremy’s place was the best so far. The home is close to everything. A Lyft ride was only a few minutes to the French Quarter. Will be staying again.
