Remove yourself from the frantic ways of the city and come enjoy the peaceful relaxation offered at Awesome Retreat.  With beautiful Blue Ridge, GA scenery on the drive the whole way to the cabin, you'll see how tempting it is to just stay forever.

This incredibly spacious 2-bedroom cabin is a fantastic place to kick off your next getaway. Both bedrooms, one on each level, offer complete privacy and plenty of room.  A well-equipped kitchen beckons you to make your famous home-made dishes for your friends and family to enjoy in the nicely decorated dining area.  Of course, afterwards you'll want to curl up on the couch in front of the fireplace and perhaps watch the evening news or your favorite movie on the 55" flat-screen. The game room on the lower level is truly awesome with a large 55" flat-screen TV, a pool table, bumper pool, and ping pong table.

If you're more into relaxing instead of playing during your stay, you can enjoy the hot tub on the back screened-in porch. However, you decide to spend your vacation time, it will be without a doubt enjoyable at Awesome Retreat.

Great Stay

The location is fantastic! Quick access to zip lining, tubing and paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake! The mattresses weren't the most comfortable but otherwise, we loved it!

Enjoyable Cabin near Blue Ridge

This was our fourth visit to the area and the cabin provided a private, quiet base to experience the surrounding forest as well as being convenient to hiking, waterfalls, breweries, restaurants, and supermarkets. Nice game room downstairs and hot tub on the main level.

Perfect Cabin

If you are looking for a quite relaxing cabin, this is the perfect place. The cabin is clean and well kept. It’s exactly how it looks from the pictures. I would definitely go back!

Weekend Get Away

Pos: nice place, clean ,nice location it was quite ,fun game room , Cons: hot tub jets need to be fixed , master bedroom mattress was horrible and half the time we didn’t have hot water to take a shower.

Morganton Retreat

This was truly a "Retreat". The location was awesome, the amenities at the cabin were very accommodating. The cabin itself was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Not far from trails and waterfalls. NO COMPLAINTS at all. This is the way your supposed to enjoy the mountains!

Older house that has been impeccably maintained. Beautiful woodwork but needs updating. Clean, and quiet.

It was pretty good

There were some minor issues in the beginning but it did get better. The first day the hot tub was not working. I called and some someone eventually came out and got it going. The jets on the hot tube did not work very well but it was still relaxing to sit in. The second morning the water was not working. I called again and they got it fixed in about 3 hours. Other than that the place was very nice. If I had one complaint it would be that they need to get new pillows as the pillows that they had were old and flat. Luckily I brought my own pillow as a backup just incase.

Recommendable.

Wonderful house in a quiet area. House shows signs of use and age and the pre-arrival cleanliness could have been better, but other than those small issues we truly enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the front porch in a nice climate was a nice change for us Floridians. We enjoyed the game room in the evening (the game room was actually what made us choose this property), never before have we played this much table tennis as we did this week. The jacuzzi is a nice touch, but we didn't use it as it was too warm in the weather to soak into a hot jacuzzi. The jacuzzi also made the back porch too hot and humid to use (almost felt like we were back in Florida), but we can imagine how nice it would be in the winter season (perhaps we have to return to try). Bottom line - overall a wonderful stay and highly recommendable.

Lots to do

This is a spacious cabin with lots of stuff to do at the cabin. I would recommend bringing extra throw blankets and your own cooking pans if you need something specific.

The place was spacious but...

The house was just okay. It didn't have enough supplies to use stove. We had to buy our own pan to cook. The pans available were all spoiled. The house needs renovation. The furniture was all outdated. The TVs never worked which was a bummer. The hot tub was okay and looked like it was not clean water. The game room was great, we had family fun time there. The beds didn't have comfortable mattress. The lotions and soaps available were all just okay quality. It could have been better.

Loved it!!!

Cabin is beautiful and well kept. Dont use your GPS to find the address, just look up the street leading in and follow directions. Learned that the hard way lol. Drive in is very scenic but easy to navigate. There was no a/v cables for the dvd player, but I bought some and left them for the next guests. Other than the jacuzzi not working in the bathroom, it was a great stay. Luckily they have a hot tub as well that works very well.

wonderful cabin

Everything was as described; nice area, easy to access a variety of outdoor activities; nice bit of woods and stream behind the house. Everything needed was there, and when the dishwasher was not working, Southern Comfort fixed it asap. The game tables and hot tub were great added bonuses!
