About this property

Fade Away on Fightingtown | Hot Tub | Creekside | Pool Table

Are you searching for a quiet, secluded escape? A cabin where you can truly escape from the everyday, where you will spend your time relaxing in the tranquility of the forest, and the sounds of traffic, crowds, or continuously ringing cell phones have been replaced by the gentle crackle of wood burning in the outdoor fireplace or the building rush of a creek as it crashes noisily into water-worn rocks below. A place where the focus is on genuine rest and relaxation, and your time is not spent plugged into the world or continuing to dig into, just from a different location. At Fade Away on Fightingtown guests are mere minutes from shopping, dining, & other local attractions, but still potentially hundreds of miles away from any obligations or their day to day grind. Families will love this hidden gem on Fightingtown creek.

Our family had a great time!

Everything was great. Kids had a great time. A little interesting of a drive to get too ( our GPS ) was spot on. Inside was very clean and ready for us. Outside garden and yard just needed a quick pruning and trimming. Grass and bushes had overgrown blocking the creek and some of the seating areas, but still very nice. We missed the mentioning of a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill, no big deal. Overall really nice! Only complaint was people tend to walk through the back yard to fish, tube, or just stroll. Not really our thing. Still the family had a great time. We would return.

Relaxing Escape

Great stay overall. The cabin is well appointed and has the most amazing outdoor spaces. The property itself has some minor upkeep needs (screens loose, gas pilot not lit, trash can filled with garbage in the side yard, fire pit and outdoor fire place needed cleaning) However, none of that stood in our way of enjoying the area. We hope to be back next Spring!

Amazing

This place is a fantastic getaway. The cabin is amazing and it was clean and ready upon our arrival. It is very private, though there is a common walk next to the creek utilized by other neighbors. Met two of the other property owners. One was very nice, the other thought he was the game warden and was asking to see my son’s fishing bait. We really enjoyed the fire pit and pool table. Would like to stay here again, just ask that the internet is fixed. It seemed that the router was having some major problems. Overall it was a really great cabin.
