Romantic Creekside Cabin w/ New Hot Tub!

Panther Creek Cabin is a private cabin nestled in between the mountains along the Big Reed Island Creek. A great place for romance, reconnecting with loved ones or outdoor adventure, Panther Creek Cabin makes you feel as though you have a corner of the earth all to yourself! Treat yourself to a warm, relaxing hot tub, a crackling fire in the fire pit, the soothing sounds of a flowing creek, and a cabin supplied with amenities including Starlink High Speed Internet, a smart TV with local channels and access to your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu, and others, DVD player, and a portable blue tooth speaker. If you feel like stretching your legs, take a short walk to see a beautiful waterfall called 'Hole in the Wall', or hike up Fall Branch Trail to see the magnificent views of the creek from up high. Fishing is welcome but requires a Virginia Freshwater Fishing License for VA residents 16 years old and older and non-residents 12 years old and older. Licenses can be purchased online at the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources website. Stairs to bedroom (loft area) are steep and narrow.

Panther Creek Cabin comes equipped with a full kitchen and everything you need to cook indoors or out with the exception of a conventional full size oven. There is a cooktop, convection/toaster oven, and microwave oven. We help get your outdoor fire started with 2-4 hours worth of free firewood, and other items needed to get a fire started in the outdoor fire pit. More wood is available for purchase upon request.

Panther Creek Cabin is 8 miles from the Allisonia entrance to the New River Trail for hiking, biking, or launching a boat. Parking and using the boat launch is free. Panther Creek Cabin is also close to Iron Heart Winery. The cabin is also within a short driving distance to many other great places like Floyd, Christiansburg, Radford, Hillsville, Wytheville, Galax, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Read and understand the house rules prior to arrival. You acknowledge the rules and cancellation policy when you sign the rental agreement. There is a $150 damage "hold" on the credit card provided at booking to cover potential damage or violation of house rules. There must be a successful credit card hold 5 days prior to arrival or the door code will not be sent. A copy of the rental agreement can be provided prior to booking upon request.

The booking email is sent just after booking. The arrival instructions are sent 3 days prior to arrival. Contact host if you need them resent. The host is not responsible for incorrect email addresses submitted through the booking platform. The host is not responsible for a lack of planning on the guest's part. There is no cell service at the cabin, so please come prepared.
