About this property

Secluded wooded lot in the gated community, Clifftops. Close to The University of the South, Sewanee. 2 bedrooms, with one king size bed and the guest room has a queen size bed; and a 3rd loft bedroom with two twin beds. Guest bedroom has a large chair that opens to a single bed. There is an air bed available. 2 full Bathrooms, one within the king size room and the other right outside the guest bedroom. There is also a changing table in the guest bedroom and a port a crib available in that closet, to be used anywhere. Fully equipped kitchen, screen porch, deck with gas grill and front deck as well. Nearby hiking trails, lake and pool. Tennis and pickle ball courts within the community. A wonderful, quiet place in the woods, on top of Monteagle Mountain. A great place to relax or gather with family.

Perfect for our family

Whispering oaks was the perfect place for our family to spend New Years. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay there again

Located in the pristine mountains of Monteagle, this property was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The property owner was easy to work with, too. We loved it!

Wonderful Getaway Near Beautiful Sewanee

Private wooded oasis

Quiet place in the woods

We stayed for two nights, we found all the comforts of home, and we appreciated the very straightforward and easy arrival and departure process. Everything we needed was provided, so we could relax. We would happily stay again!

Sewanee Drop Off

My husband and I stayed for two nights to drop off our boys at Sewanee. The house was perfect! We enjoyed cooking on the grill for the last two “home cooked” meals our boys will eat for a while. We will definitely stay again!

Loved our getaway to Clifftops!

My family and friends had a wonderful stay at Clifftops. The property is located close to Sewanee (our alma mater), and is also convenient to attractions in Monteagle. We loved the pool inside Clifftops for our kids! Will definitely be going back.

Complete and Comfortable.

The cabin is just as described and could not have been more completely stocked and furnished. It was a wonderfully comfortable home for the Christmas holiday and we enjoyed it very much.

An awesome stay over Christmas with family

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a late Christmas celebration with family. The place was perfect and Ann the owner was great to work with. She made everything easy and was very accommodating. We will definitely visit again.
