Savasana- Pet Friendly | Edgy and Unique | Paved Roads | Aska Adventure Area

Rejuvenate one's mind, body and soul at Savasana... this edgy and unique mountain home is anything but a cabin. With a Western Rockies flair and surrounded by glass, you will find it inspiring yet comfortable and cozy too. This modern mountain home sits in the Aska Adventure Area with paved roads all the way. As soon as you arrive, you'll feel as if you are one with nature in the hippest joint in town.

Completely take in the outdoors as Savasana offers spectacular mountain vistas and distant morning sunrises over Lake Blue Ridge. This sleekly designed home was built with glass walls and glass deck rails to provide unobstructed views from every room.

The three minimalist bedrooms offer exactly what you need in furnishings and all of the high-end comforts of a luxury vacation. Each room provides an uncluttered environment but offers reading light, vibrantly colored bedding and overstuffed blankets. The large picture windows let you awake feeling part of the natural setting outdoors. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and features a queen bed, soaking tub overlooking the view and a walk-in tiled shower. Step downstairs to find two other bedrooms, one offering two queen beds and the other, a queen-size bed. The downstairs floor plan is considered 'split' as each of the two bedrooms flank the game room on either side. The spectacular and fun game room has a card table, another seating area surrounding the large TV, and offers billiards and ping pong.

Cooking and eating in this well stocked kitchen is something of a joy. Savasana offers a large work space with convection cooking, plenty of cabinets and a table that seats eight.

Golfers, you're in for a special treat! As a guest of Savasana, you'll have access to the top-rated Old Toccoa Farm golf course (at Member Guest Rates). Spend the day golfing and then retreat back to Savasana to wind down for the evening.

In Yoga, Savasana is an important pose that relaxes and invigorates your body and mind, and is known for relieving anxiety and calming the mind. In Blue Ridge, the Savasana home will do the same. Here, you will treasure and capture the special moments of your romantic getaway or two-family vacation.

Breath taking views
The property is beautiful and modern. The kids loved having their own area downstairs with game room , TVs and plenty of games. We hiked up the mountain which had even more breathtaking views. Every room had a view and we really enjoyed the camping outside feeling at night, without having to be outside. Things to note, I did not have a 4 wheel drive and it was bit hard to turn into the property when it rained at night. You need to give it a good wide turn and good acceleration and you will be fine. Other than that, the kitchen had everything we needed which made it perfect to cook for the week. My recommendation would be to management to have extra ping pong balls in the game room as the ones there were a bit worn, also would be nice if they would consider a fire pit outside. There’s plenty of space in the drive way and I think enough room in the corner for a fire pit . Otherwise management were quick to help replace light bulbs and answer all questions we had. Nice staff and nice property.

Property is tired and ignored
I hate to leave negative reviews however the listing is misleading. Yes the views are fantastic though the mostly glass walls on the exterior of the house are nasty. The worst part is there’s no “hot” water. It gets luke warm at best. They sent Maint out and the guy says he’s been out for the same issue more than once. All 3 showers had issues, either the shower itself was broken, head wouldn’t stay put or the tub was stained with what looks like tidy bowl blue all over it. The hot tub wasn’t on when we arrived, took 2 days to heat up. The ceiling in the basement over the TV area had been leaking and Sheetrock mud and tape were falling down. The pots and pans in the ‘gourmet’ kitchen are worn out. Sad part is while I called the number and mentioned to the lady, they sent someone out for the water but the message I sent online has not been answered yet. Clearly the owners don’t stay here. For the price I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Weekend Getaway
The overall experience was great! The photos online were a very good representation of the property, but the views were even better than expected. The sunrise over the mountains was absolutely breathtaking each morning we were there!

Perfect getaway
This property is gorgeous! Watching the sunrise & sunsets is breathtaking here. This is the perfect place to go to relax. We enjoyed the hot tub, the game room downstairs, having late night chats by the fireplace, having meals in the beautiful kitchen, and more. The price was a steal for what we got. Truly a gorgeous property with so many fun and relaxing amenities available.
