After a shady path where you will meet many rabbits, you will arrive at the cottage located in the heart of an enclosed park and you can walk in the middle of meadows or groves. Housed in the old barns of the castle, you will appreciate its calm that gives it its privileged location along a river whose dam nearby will rock your day.

Peaceful and relaxing

Had a fabulous week, the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The gite is basic but we didn't mind, no proper shower, beds and bedding clean but basic, spiral staircase that might be a problem for some and the third room turned out to be on the landing but overall we loved the place, the pool, the river and the area. Lots to see and do.

Calme, grands espaces

Grande propriété au calme, en bord de Mayenne et proche de toutes commodités. Piscine, animaux, barque...tout était là pour passer de très bonnes vacances en famille. Merci a nos hôtes pour la qualité de leur acceuil!

Empfelenswerter Erholungsparadis

Ludovic und seine Familie sind sehr nett, sowohl beim Empfang als während unsere Urlaubswoche. Der Gite ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt ausreichend Platz, sowohl innen als aussen. Pool ist toll, die Nutzung des Bootes sehr angenehm und das Landgut mit Hühner, Schäfen und Ziegen lasst sich gut zu Fuess entdecken.

Super séjour

On recherchait de la tranquillité, de la nature avec du confort et c'est ce que nous avons eu. La maison se trouve sur une propriété magnifique, on peut s'y promener. La maison comporte tous les équipements nécessaires jusqu'à la Wi-Fi. La piscine est couverte (eau à 28°c) à partager avec une autre maison (chaque maison son tour, en clair la piscine est libre on peut y aller). A visiter et à faire aux alentours : le musée Robert Tatin, le refuge de l'arche, Angers à 40 min, sports aquatiques (canoë...). Et surtout nous avons eu un accueil du propriétaire excellent. Merci pour cette semaine reposante et inoubliable.

Très agréable séjour !

Très bon séjour bien reposant à la campagne. Le gîte loué est adapté pour 4 adultes et 1 enfant : spacieux, propre et fonctionnel. La piscine est propre, chauffée et couverte (pratique en temps de pluie). On a aussi adoré les promenades dans le domaine (10 hectares) pouvoir rendre visite à 2 biquettes, il y aussi beaucoup de poules ^(^-^)^. Nous vous remercions pour votre accueil M. D'Ambrières et bravo pour l'entretien du domaine. En effet, c'est beaucoup de travail et merci de nous avoir fait partager votre magnifique domaine. Très bonne continuation. NB: en prenant la voiture environ 6 minutes, vous pouvez louer des vélos à Canotika pour ensuite aller sur le chemin de halage, louer aussi un bateau électrique, faire du mini-golf.

tres bel environnement au bord de la Mayenne. propriétaire tres interessant et accueillant.

nous avons passé un très agréable séjour . le propriétaire très accueillant.Une barque était à disposition pour traverser la Mayenne. Gite tres calme.

Great, character cottage

Unique location with access to private garden, grounds, pool and river front. The area is very quiet being out of the main Loire area so best for relaxing round the cottage. Great wildlife park nearby and Le Mans and Angers well worth visiting.

Logement sympathique (tout comme les propriétaires, merci !). Les plus : le calme, la cheminée (pas pu tester la piscine fermée en hiver et avons en contre partie testé la cheminée), le parc, proche de Château-Gontier y compris à pied Le moins : le réseau (WIFI/TV) pas toujours au niveau Nous recommandons avec plaisir

Gîte confortable dans un domaine sublime

Nous venons de passer une semaine de détente et de calme dans ce gîte très agréable. Le grand jardin, la piscine, la barque à disposition pour aller passer les écluses, bref, tout était au rendez-vous pour des vacances bien réconfortantes. Les enfants ont adoré! Le gîte lui même est un peu sombre, mais très fonctionnel. Les abords du château, les balades dans le domaine, les lapins et les poules (une spéciale dédicace au coq le plus beau que je connaisse!), le cocker, le bruit de l'eau... bref, un vrai dépaysement pour nous. Merci également à nos hôtes, Ludovic et Marie, discrets mais présents si besoin. Nous reviendrons!

Très bon moment

Un très bon moment de détente et de liberté en famille pour le week end Pascal. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Ludovic dans sa propriété familiale. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié de pouvoir profiter de tout le domaine, faire de généreuses flambées et de belles promenades sur la Mayenne grâce aux barques. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans ce bel environnement que nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Peace and tranquility assured.

We stayed for a week at this lovely cottage, hidden away from the world down a tree lined drive. The ease of everything from our point of arrival until, sadly, our point of departure, was without doubt joyous. A clean and tidy house, well maintained, manicured gardens, a lake, a river, a forest, a pool, a barbecue and mostly peace and serenity. We needn't of left the grounds but for the necessary food shopping and visiting the beautiful town of Chateau Gontier for our newly adopted aperitif ritual. The pool was a very nice temperature, perfect for our two year old who had no hesitation getting into the water. An indoor pool was a great idea for year round watery fun. We never saw Ludovic or his charming family until our point of departure, but knowing they were just a stones throw away if needed gave peace of mind. We can't recommend this place enough. Did not want to go home and had the holiday blues for a week afterwards. Neil, Monique & Hunter

Idyllic

We have been here twice. It is brilliant. The cottage is snug. The land fabulous and the river wonderful. Chateau Gontier is a pretty town and is close to Anger and Laval. Ludovic is totally wonderful. We'll always come back to visit

EXCELLENT!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine, dans un parc magnifique, un lieu calme et reposant. Le gîte est confortable. L'accueil est vraiment chaleureux. Les enfants étaient ravis. Seul petit bémol : une semaine c'est beaucoup trop court! On y retourne en 2012!

Dépaysement total à Mirvault

Excellent séjour dans le domaine de Mirvault, c'est un havre de paix où il fait bon vivre. Avec Ludovic et son épouse, le temps s'arrête... Chacun peut ainsi mieux relativiser sur la vie de tous les jours... On est en pleine nature à 2 pas de la civilisation ; on a l'impression à chaque retour au domaine d'une page qui se tourne ! Vous qui êtes en quête de dépaysement, je vous recommande chaudement l'endroit !
