Mayan Princess is a great place to stay. Great pools and very easy access (private access) to the beach. 316 was well appointed and the property was very spacious. The living room was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The property could use a deep clean but overall it was a great stay.
Beds were comfortable. Living Room couch was a very nice suprise. The balconies were awesome- great view and nice spot to eat dinner or having morning tea!
We stayed at the Mayan Princess for a second time in June, 2024, but in a different condo. This condo was just as nice as the first one! Proximity to the beach and Port A is hard to beat. Great pools. The staff at the Mayan Princess are outstanding. One woman said she had worked there 17 years! That says a lot about the place in and of itself. I really like the upstairs/downstairs concept of the condo. Balcones were great with spectacular ocean views.
Location was great. Not too far from downtown Port A or Corpus Christi, but far enough away to not be too crowded. The condo is gorgeous. Amazing views!
The beach was a quick walk away, through the pool area. The kids got a ghost shrimp pump and fishing pole and caught a small fish. I could relax in the master bedroom and see them on the beach.
The Mayan Princess was well maintained and comfortable. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the unit. Wether was unseasonably cold so heated pool and hot tub were awesome. The condo was comfortable. With great views. The property was updated and clean but well used, scratches on the floor, furniture wore and and had some functional difficulties. Kitchen was stocked with minimal supplies so bring seasonings and storage bags if you plan to use the kitchen. First trip to Texas and prefer warmer area but everyone was so nice and accommodating. Would rent again but later in the year when wether is warmer.
Beautiful condo, updated, clean. This condo sleeps four very comfortably. However, the 3 sofa beds need new mattresses or extra padding. The kitchen is well-equipped except...we had to borrow salt from the office. If you plan to cook while you stay, you need to bring salt and pepper and any seasonings you might want. One morning we saved starfish by putting them back in the water. We found two dead ones still in good condition. We brought them home, soaked them in alcohol, dried them, and now have them in frames as souvenirs of our trip.
