About the host
Hosted by Debi Greybe

Live to enjoy life and all it has to offer. My outlook is simple: highs and lows are opportunities for learning and, above all, give care to all... big or small. And always remember to stop and smell the roses along the way.
Our home has been in the family since 1968. François and I have created a sanctuary for all who live and visit here. We have awesome kids - 2 young teenagers and 4 friendly fur babies - naturally, the felines rule the roost and love to meet and greet our friends (all of our guests are cat-lovers).
Being a wife, mother, friend, business owner and jack-of-all-trades I am always on the go. One of my greatest passions is set design and I am often working on pieces for productions showcasing at our local Playhouse Theatre (run by the Hottentots Holland Dramatic Society), conveniently just a few blocks down the road.
I usually have a number of projects on the go at once, our most recent being the pond we created in one of our gardens not just for its tranquillity but as a protected area for our Clicking Stream Frogs to inhabit and for birds, butterflies, dragonflies and small animals to quench their thirst. Our garden is an ongoing labour of love, intended for the peaceful enjoyment of all.
We live in a breathtakingly beautiful area, rich in history, where you will be treated with uninterrupted views of our beloved Helderberg Mountain. Here we have the best of both worlds, surrounded by a majestic amphitheatre of the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range and the golden sand beaches of False Bay. There is so much to do and see, or simply put your feet up and relax.
The possibilities are endless. Welcome to our home!
