Ideal Bonnet Shores Home
This home is in a great location with close access to Bonnet Shores private beach. It’s also close to the town of Narragansett with many shops and restaurants, and a short drive to Newport. The house is spacious and well-equipped. We had a wonderful family vacation.

No hassle Narragansett getaway
House is good for family with children or adults. Access to Kelly Beach requires flexibility of transport if you want cooler and chairs, etc. We used vehicle to drop off gear, then bikes to get back to beach and to get vehicle later. Drop off area is tight. Bike ride requires some skill for younger kids. There is a portapottie at drop off. Beach is nice for kids. House has good set up for some privacy between split levels. Two full bathrooms between bedrooms. Showers and beds were good. Need to make beds yourself. Kitchen was fine. Washer/dryer good. Moderate room to spread out inside. Good TV. Good access to markets, restaurants. Good fire pit and large backyard. Area was quiet. No beach passes to Narragansett Beach. Very expensive; $12 per person plus parking. Suzanne was good property manager.

Great Beach Getaway
Stayed here with another family, there were 4 adults and 5 small children. House was great for us, and as described. The property manager was super responsive. Bonnett Shores is such a cute area, will be back.

End of the cul-de-sac, lovely privacy with great amenities
We had a wonderful week at this property despite my just having had surgery. The split level was great as I could just be on the main level. My family of five stayed for the week and had few family and friends join us on different nights of the week. The house is nicely decorated with new living room furniture. The one recliner was a life saver as I needed to elevate my leg. There is only one TV. Not a problem as we were at the beach mostly. Only 1.5 mile drive to Bonnet shores private beach where you can drop people and stuff then park back at the property and bike down. The house had 4 beach chairs and an umbrella as well as outside games. We did have 3-4 kids at any given time and it would have been nice to have a different bedroom or the space in the laundry room (there was a futon where they could lounge) with a second TV for them to go watch a movie or play video games. So adults could have had some time. The yard is a nice size and very private, great for lawn games and backed to the woods for nice scenery. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening however, it was after dark and the bugs got pretty rough. We loved the privacy of this location! There are four bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. The listing said one king and three queen. One of the beds seemed like it may have been a full but not sure. The central air was excellent! Definitely colder on the lower level. The bathrooms had basic upgrades nothing fancy. I appreciated the handheld shower head for rinsing excess sand down the drain. There is a hose outside for post beach rinsing. The kitchen is basic but does the trick. There is a good assortment of kitchen wares and even basic spices. Love that this house has a dishwasher! There were a few items in disrepair (2 broken dining chairs, the kitchen island cart drawers were broken, and the vent hood was loose, the heat tents on grill were rusted out. We notified the property owner on arrival and they were helpful and responsive. They allowed us to replace the heat tents and reimbursed is for the cost. The property manager was there as we were checking out to work on the vent hood. This was a clean, comfortable home with all the important luxuries to make for a great vacation. We would definitely this house again! Thanks for the wonderful house!

2021 Bonnet Shores vacation
We just spent a wonderful 10 days at this home—it’s a nice walk through the neighborhood or short drive to Kelly Beach, and Naragansett Beach is only 4 miles away. The house is very clean, quiet and comfortable, and the one minor issue we had was quickly addressed and fixed by Susan, the property manager.

About the host

Host profile image
My name is Monty Wilson and I purchased this house with my sister in 2018. I own my own business in Dallas and Narragansett has always been one of my favorite summer vacations. A Boston native who spent summers in the area, I want to give people the opportunity to experience all Narragansett has to offer so they can add it to their list of favorite summer vacations!

Why they chose this property

I have been coming to Narragansett every summer since I was a young kid. It was always a dream of mine to own a property in the beautiful town of Narragansett. Now that I have accomplished my dream, I want to share this wonderful home and what better way to do it than with VRBO!

What makes this property unique

This house has a prime location, end of the cul-de-sac with the forest as your backyard. The quietness of this lot is every homeowner’s dream! A quick walk to Brickley's Ice Cream Shop is a great way to finish an awesome beach day and then enjoy a nice fire by the fire pit to end the night.
