Our modernized home is perfect for those who are looking for charm and convenience. Our early 1900's refurbished home contains four units. Two of those units have 2 bedrooms and the other 2 have a single bedroom. We can be rented by unit or the entire home. We offer a kitchenette with basic amenities (Full kitchen coming soon). The backyard has a sitting area and a grill.

Riverhouse disaster

I am a frequent VRBO user. This was a disaster. I arrived and the house looked nothing like the photos. It had weeds up to my knees. The property looked as if it had been abandoned for months. I tried to enter the property and the combo did not work. I tried to get in touch with the listing manager but they didn’t respond to me for some time. I kept trying the lock but it didn’t work. The owner ( or whoever the person was) finally contacted me after an hour or so and could not offer any assistance or solution. I had googled the name of the lock and had watched a you tube video about how to operate the lock and saw that a red light was blinking on the combo lock which indicated the battery needed to be replaced. I told the owner and he said he had changed the battery recently. It looked like the property had been neglected for some time. We left the property and looked for a hotel nearby. I have always had very good experiences with VRBO, however this experience really broke the mold. I am hoping to get a full refund.

Great stay!

Enjoyed staying at the home. Suite was very clean and nice. Newly renovated. Owners were great at communicating. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Weekend

We reserved this VRBO on a short notice for our fifth anniversary. We live in Katy, TX and drove to the beautiful area. The home was amazing, very clean, and owner was so accommodating. We could walk to cute restaurants for breakfast and dinner, not to mention the cute ducks that were cohabitating across the street in a nearby River. Just breath taking. We will stay again!

Cozy River House

I stayed in this space for a wedding I was attending and the space was clean, there was a coffee maker that was fully stocked with lots of options and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor space was awesome to sit around and have a drink and chat and was gated so we felt very safe. It is important to note that there are several units within the house, I’m not sure if I misread the listing, but I was expecting to be the only occupant on the property. Each unit has an entry off the main area with key pad and key access so it felt secure, we were just surprised we didn’t have the whole space to ourselves.

Great weekend!

We travelled to Boerne, TX to run the Spartan Race. Adorable little town! The property was very nice and well kept. The units were very clean and cozy! Definitely felt like home. The check in process however was a little less satisfying. I was never given a code for the door or check in instructions prior to arrival. I messaged the property manager 30 min prior to us arriving and didn’t receive a message back until 20 min after arrival. Instructions were unclear at first so we went back and forth until we finally received the door codes about an hour after arriving. Later the first evening we arrived back after dinner to find another couple dealing with the same check in issues (the property is a shared space with 4 separate units). We helped them out and gave them the code. Overall our stay was perfect, aside from check in issues. Would definitely stay there again with hopes that they do better with communication and check in.

Cute place, good location, unresponsive property manager

We were given one bath towel per person for an entire week. No top sheets on bed, smoke detector beeped for two nights straight . Had to contact property manager daily starting with the wrong wifi and password information. Frustrating experience due to inconsistent and slow responsiveness from Lucy Gonzalez, prop mgr.

Very nice, but just bedrooms.

We enjoyed this place very much and would stay here again. But be aware that Unit #1 is just two bedrooms and a bathroom, there is no common area, no where to hang out. That was fine for us because we were always out and just needed a place to sleep.

Friends’ Getaway

The place was nice and centrally located for a relatively short drive to Comfort and Fredericksburg. I had trouble connecting to the television and texted her. She replied to next day for me to call her, but we were away so it was never resolved; but, it wasn’t a big issue. Since there were 2 women sharing a bathroom, a mirror in each bedroom would have been a big help. I also would have appreciated a bedside lamp for reading too. Those are easy fixes that would have made our stay better.

This property was triple booked. When we arrived the entire home was filled.

Horrible. Triple booked. Entire home was filled with young adult men. A family was outdoors talking on the phone to property manager. They had booked the home also. My sister-in-law and I had arrived as well at that time. We all had no accommodations for our vacation. Still have not been reimbursed.

1st VRBO Stay

So pleasantly surprised. First time I have utilized VRBO and will most definitely do again. The accommodations were more than expected and felt homey. The prop manager answered all my questions and made sure my stay was not lacking anything. So close to downtown Boerne. Most definitely recommend. Oh, lovely looking back pavilion, we did not get to utilize but I bet would be great to sit out in the spring.

Our home has a beautiful backyard for all events, weddings, and to just relax. The front porch has a couple of rocking chairs to enjoy the fresh air whenever you need it. Our property is within walking distance to downtown Boerne and the creek for a stroll. Each unit has its own keypad lock and washroom.

We are located across the street from Cibolo Creek. Perfect for a stroll in the park to feed the ducks. Boerne Texas was an original health destination in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Our home town is still the perfect place to recharge without the city hustle and bustle. Keeping with its German heritage, Boerne's downtown maintains a Hansel and Gretal feel with plenty of shopping and eateries. Every month special events are planned. Check out our website on google!

We offer rides from the airport and to the airport for an additional cost. All your party planning or wedding needs can be planned by our terrific planner. Almost anything you request can be provided within reason. If you would like to surprise your loved one with a special gift in your room then that can be arranged. We have mini-fridges in the rooms so if you need groceries picked up and arranged in the room then we can accommodate you. We are here to make your business trip, staycation, or family trip as relaxing as possible.
