Newly renovated modern farmhouse on an acre of land surrounded by woods.
Great for adults but no children, pets or smoking. Completely open floor plan with outside space to enjoy the outdoors in the summer and beautiful nature in the winter. For people who know the area, this is right next door to Strawberry Cottage and Strawberry Cottage Too with the same owners. Everything is newly renovated with all new appliances, kitchen and bathrooms.

Peaceful stay for our Historic Kirtland visit

This sweet cottage is located in a wooded area just a block away from a golf course. It is so quiet and peaceful. The home has really nice furnishings making it feel like a home away from home. Corky handled up front reservation questions and Mark was on site to help with any questions or concerns. They are excellent to deal with. The propery is fairly close to the Historic Kirtland sites that we came to see. This was a fantastic memorable trip! We hope to come back some day.

Enchanting!

This was a bird lover’s (which I am) paradise! The house is very cute and comfortable with modern amenities but old charm. The location was secluded and quiet but in close proximity to I-90. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck and watching the birds (and other wildlife) every morning and being able to see stars at night. If I’m ever in the area again, I will look to stay here again and highly recommend others do as well. Thank you, Corky and Mark, for creating such a great place!!

Wonderful

Wow, what a great find. The property itself is beautiful, with perennial gardens and abundant wildlife. The house was welcoming, comfortable and well appointed. Location was great. Private, yet close to everything. Mark & Corky were great hosts. Overall, a perfect spot for our Cleveland visit. Highly recommend.

The Coop - Fantastic!!

Three friends and I just spent 4 nights at this beautiful and comfortable home. We all look forward to staying here next time we are in the Cleveland area. Corky and Mark communicated very well and are very pleasant, gracious hosts. The house was spotless and we had no issues while there. We dined at two of Corky's recommended restaurants, Sara's Place and Pranzo, and were very pleased. The home, landscaping, and grounds are just beautiful.

The Coop Farmhouse

The "Coop" is exactly as you see in the photos. Super clean and neat, and such a comfy down-home place. You would never know you near Cleveland!! Everything you could want is there. The beds were awesome. We only stayed two nights and didn't want to leave. We practically lived out on the deck, watching the birds and other critters. And the hospitality was second to none. . .Mark and Boo met us there to show us the ropes and then away they went. Overall, a great place to get away. . .you won't be sorry.

Beautiful place!

This is an updated farmhouse with plenty of space on a large, scenic lot. The property is very well appointed and the owners are fantastic to work with. We look forward to returning to this property the next time we are in town.

Magical Place to Stay

When we arrived, we were greeted by the host. He had cut a bouquet of flowers from the garden and set out two glasses and a bottle of wine! We felt right at home. The decorating was amazing and everything was spotless. The beds were comfortable. We are eager to stay there again!

Beautiful Cared for Cottage in Lovely Garden Setting

We were attending the graduation of one of our sons. My husband selected this spot as he wanted a place we could spread out in and retreat to after the frenetic pace of our other activities. Corky and Mark were friendly and offered to help with local information should we need it - we appreciated the list of local restaurants the owners provided. The kitchen is fully outfitted, the house was immaculate and nicely decorated and clearly a great deal of time, attention and money is put toward making it a comfortable place. We ate at a table in the outdoor deck our first night and enjoyed the lovely wooded setting.

Celebration of Friendship

Beautiful and welcoming. Thank you Corky for a wonderful weekend. We were celebrating many years of friendship and this gave us a warm place to relax. The property was close to hiking in Cuyahoga and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. All sorts of good restaurants are nearby.. We loved watching the birds and other nature life from the window. The place is a perfect place to relax. Corky and Mark are very warm, welcoming and helpful.

Farmhouse Perfection

This farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous. It is quietly tucked away next to the woods, and the location offers beautiful views of nature. My husband and I stayed here with our best friends. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It snowed quite a bit, but that only enhanced the beauty of the surrounding property. There were birds of all kinds on the feeders, and they provided endless entertainment. Even though the farmhouse seems remote, it is close to restaurants, shopping, etc. As I was booking this property, I recognized Corky's name. She was a school counselor at the high school my husband and I attended. We had not seen or talked to each other for over 30 years. We enjoyed catching up, and Corky is the same friendly, talented, and outgoing person that we both remembered. If you're thinking about staying at The Coop, do it! You won't regret it.
