We all were pleased with the edge of the forest setting we were in at this peaceful cozy cabin. The beds were comfortable and linens clean and white. There was plenty of space with a second level and tv watching room. The nature all around us was a most positive experience.

The property was convenient to the park. Instructions to the property were very accurate.
We had to use space heaters. They worked well though.
When you book a rental or hotel you have expectations of things that should be done or disclosed like clean towels, air conditioning (if advertised), water that doesn’t smell like rotten eggs. We arrived to all the laundry not done, a fireplace that was emitting heat (on an 80 deg day), and no air conditioning despite our host telling us a swamp cooler was an ac unit. It’s not right we had to pay a cleaning fee and as much as we did for false advertisement. Not pleased!
So our vacation didn't quite go as planned. Instead of using this beautiful little cabin as a resting place while we spent 3 wonderful days exploring Yellowstone, we needed it as a place to park my teens/kids while my husband I headed to the Rexburg hospital for emergency surgery for a broken leg. Thankfully it was close enough to Yellowstone that my husband and kids could at least pop over and see Old Faithful and some of the main attractions. It was a cozy place to recover. I wish we could have explored the outside ammenities more because it looked really beautiful and woodsy. The Kitchen was well stocked and easy enough for my teens to use. From a newly disabled perspective, it was easy enough to get around. The living room/tv was upstairs, but that's okay. We didn't pick the place with my new disability in mind. Having one bathroom was an adjustment for my shower loving teens, but we managed. We loved the amount of rooms and beds. Everyone got their own room/bed. Overall it was a comfy, centrally located vacation cabin. A great home away from home.
Due to an error on a competing rental marketplace' part this trip could have been a nightmare - when we showed up another family was already in the cabin making dinner (we had booked days in advance but 'that other' site didn’t remove the listing). Wendy went above and beyond to ensure we had another cabin booked with no hesitation despite losing money on the switch. Extraordinarily ethical and thoughtful --she saved our trip. Thank you Wendy! The property looked perfect and as described so, although we didn’t get to enjoy it this time, would highly recommend.
We checked in and immediately started going through the cabin to check it out. To our dismay there were only three washcloths for five people. We had to hunt for them and found two in the clothes dryer and one on top of the locked cabinet in the laundry room. We got through the first night, but I contacted Wendy by phone and text the next morning. She assured me her housekeeper would bring more for us. However, when we returned about 6:00 that evening there were no more clean washcloths.
Loved this cabin. My husband enjoyed reading in the main area by the gas stove. My daughters and I lived the TV area upstairs. It was very cozy. Wendy was quick to respond to any we needed. The only thing that could be better is the freezer needs a good cleaning and the cabin could use a new dish drain board and drying rack.
My husband and I stayed at the Cozy Cottage for 2 days this past June. The cabin was clean and had the essentials that one would need (e.g. plates, cooking items).
We had no issues with arrival and when we encountered an issue with the wifi, Wendy was quick to respond despite the late hour.
Overall we had a lovely brief stay at Wendy's home
Very clean, easily accessed even in a lot of snow!

Not what we expected for the money
I hate giving a poor review. But this was not a good experience. We left early because we could not relax here.
First of all. The carpeting in the house is old, stained/dirty and stinky. There is a blue reclining chair which has a brown sheen due to needing cleaned or replaced. It also has a dirty ring from someone’s head.
The solid surfaces appeared clean along with the bedding but, there was an odor that I could not handle.
We stay in houses and cabins so we can cook our own meals; however, there was only one usable pot and one usable pan. The others were flaking Teflon or broke.
The gas burning heating stove would not work right either. The pilot would go out and I would have to re-light it with each cycle. This meant waking up every 3 hours.
The cabin sits on about a 1/2 acre lot in a development. Not really the private cabin as it is listed as. You can see another house from every window.
We called it quits and left early.

The cozy cabin was indeed cozy. We felt at home during our vacation. It was so hard to leave! We enjoyed the cabin and appreciated the thoughtfulness of how the cabin was supplied. We would definitely stay here again!
Nothing fancy, cozy and comfortable and the cabin met our needs very well. Great location, private but easy access to all the area offers. Owner responded to a minor problem very quickly. This cabin had the best stocked kitchen of any rental I’ve ever rented. Beds were a little softer than we like. Would stay here again.
This was the perfect tucked away location for our girls annual getaway. Rustic, cute, and just what we needed. Minutes from all of the activities we had planned. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend and hope to be back in the future.
Thank you,

Very nice rustic cabin in a great location. There was no air conditioning or TV viewing, unless you use DVD/VCR combo provided. The need of an air conditioner is lessened by the fact the cabin is nestled in the woods and does not heat up too much. Windows allow for ample air flow and the evenings cools off very good. The WiFi worked great for any devices you bring. Wendy, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. The cabin is great for low number of friends or large families. Two bedrooms downstairs are nice with closets. The loft upstairs (2 beds and multiple seating options in large space) would be great hide-a way for kids wanting to have some separation from adults. Kitchen has most appliances available for use. No toaster or K-cup coffee maker, although there is a drip coffee maker. Washer and dryer worked well, great water pressure in shower! Overall great experience for a couple guys out fly fishing the area!
Just needed a weekend getaway and this was the perfect getaway
