About this property

Contemporary villa on Istrian seaside

Perfect for 2 families or 4 couples, the house is located just off the road to Ravni beach, and surrounded by forest and gardens. Property sits on 3000m2. All the rooms have large glass doors opening onto either terraces or balcony, with the sea view in front of you.

On the ground floor, is a large living room with fireplace, open kitchen and dining room, guest restroom and a master bedroom en suite.
For dining outside, there is a large covered terrace opening onto the garden and sea view with dining table for 8 and stone steps that descend into the garden where there is a stone BBQ & gas grill (plancha), sink & cooking area. Here we have implemented another dining area with big stone table and 8 chairs and sun umbrella. There is a toilet under pool and on the path.

On the first floor, the upper living room awaits with TV - DVD and a large open terrace offering spectacular views of Kvarner and the islands (Cres, Lošinj). There is a master bedroom en suite; a third large bedroom with bay windows and a fourth bedroom with 2 single beds and private balcony, and large bathroom with Italian style shower.

To allow for natural rhythms of light and air flow, there is a large skylight with remote opening. All of the bedrooms are fully furnished with built-in closets; parquet floors, stone sinks, curtains and air conditioning.
Kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and there is a washing machine & dryer.

The house is located on a private road with ample parking. There is a little market in Ravni town with fresh fruit and veggies. The town of Labin is close by (10 kms) with all needed facilities (daily market, super markets, pharmacies, etc.) and there are several little konobas (taverns) within walking distance of the house for a typical Istrian meal. Close by is the Ravni beach which has a open air bistro & many little private bays for swimming.

For diving & motor boat rentals of all sizes as well as boat mooring, nearby Sveti Marina can provide.

The beautiful towns of Rovinjo, Poreč, Pula (airport), Motovun, Groznjan and Novigrad are all easily reachable for day trips as is the island of Cres, via car ferry.

Jadrina bay is a peaceful pebble beach bay below the house only accessible by boat or by a gentle walk through a shaded trail of 10-15 minutes.

Casa Bura has a swimming pool 7 x 3.5 m with sea view. However, the real beauty of our location is discovering the crystal clear bays of Istria which are warm enough to swim all day long, for all ages. Enjoy massage on the beach with Lana and then the evenings on the terrace overlooking the sea with a glass of wine under the stars.

Please note we are not fans of the Saturday to Saturday regime due to the traffic on Saturdays so feel free to choose your own day.

Wonderful villa in Istria
I scrolled through holiday homes in VRBO/Homeaway and immediately fell for this beautiful villa, which literally decided the destination (Istria,Croatia) for us. Both were a happy choice. The house offers beautiful views to the sea and Cres Island and feels very private as it is covered by trees and gardens. We loved the covered terrace, where We enjoyed all the meals, backgammon, cards, and hard discussions with the grasshoppers. The pool was for sure wonderful and the barbeque area worked perfect. The house itself is beautiful and stylish, while it also feels like a home with lovely art, furniture, stereo, books and cd’s which the owners generously shared with us. In the area, there Are serveral beautiful beaches, both secluded and public. We especially enjoyed the relaxed beach bar in Sveti marina🏝️, where We also rented a boat to go to Cres Island one day (highly recommended). Otherwise We found the area is great for cycling and walking. We would love to come back!

Leider zum Ende hin sehr enttäuschend
Wir freuten uns riesig auf unseren Kroatienurlaub und auch der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war vor und während des Aufenthalts extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie stellte uns auch einige Snacks zur Verfügung. Leider wurde der Urlaub immer mehr zur Enttäuschung. Ziemlich bald mussten wir feststellen, dass die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert und die Villa nicht runter gekühlt wurde. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft nicht, wie angeben alleinstehend, so wurden wir gleich am ersten Nachmittag von der Nachbarin beleidigt, das wir zu laut sind, obwohl wir keine Musik anhatten, sondern nur unseren Spaß hatten. Die Küchenutensilien waren bei unsrer Ankunft leider auch nicht sehr hygienisch. Bitte auch beachten, das es nicht am Meer liegt sondern man ein Auto benötigt um dort hin zukommen. Leider sehr traurig, wenn man sich auf einen Strandurlaub freut. Nach unserer Abreise kontaktierte uns die Vermieterin, wo wir das Geld für den Wein hinterlegt haben, da anscheinend eine Flasche fehlt. Wir wunderten uns bereits hier, da wir unseren eigenen dabei hatten. Nun ein paar Tage später meldete sich erneut bei uns, das wir ihr bitte die zwei Flaschen Wein zahlen sollen i.H.v. 32€. Wir kamen nun für die 2 Flaschen auf obwohl wir keine einzige getrunken haben. Alles in allem letztendlich ein sehr enttäuschender Urlaub und wir können es absolut nicht weiter empfehlen.

Tolles Haus
Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub in dieser Region verbracht. Das Haus hat alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Toll sind die verschiedenen Rückzugsbereiche, der Pool und der Grill/ Plancha. Man muss allerdings in Kauf nehmen, dass die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erst in Labin ca. 12 km entfernt sind.

Tolles Haus mit Abzügen für Gastfreundlichkeit
Das Haus ist wirklich großartig und auch die Ausstattung, aber seid gewarnt und lest die mehrseitige Instruktion Zeile für Zeile. Wir sind eigentlich sehr glücklich und zufriedene abgereist, hatten alles gründlich aufgeräumt und wären sehr gerne im nächsten Jahr wiedergekommen, aber wir mussten uns im Nachgang ziemlich ärgern, da wir noch Iange Diskussionen mit der Vermieterin hatten, warum der Grill nicht etwas gründlicher und der Müllsack, der nicht mehr in die Tonne gepasst hatte nicht zu einer Müllstation gebracht wurde. Zusätzlich wurde uns dann für zwei getrunkene Weinflaschen am Ende 36€ berechnet, satt den 10,80€ pro Flasche, die vor Ort ausgewiesen waren. Wir können das Haus empfehlen, jedoch hat uns die Gastfreundschaft sehr enttäuscht, besonders bei der Summe die für dieses Haus bezahlt wurde.

The house and views are stunning. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed it daily. It is pretty remote with very windy roads, and is a bit difficult to find. You have to drive thru Labin to go anywhere (15 min), and we enjoyed dinners in nearby Rabac on the water about 20 min away. We enjoyed day trips to Rovinj, Pula and Opatija all within an hour drive. Jacqueline was very responsive. I would definitely book again.

A stunning villa with a breathtaking view
The villa is simply stunning, the photos do not do it, or the incredible view justice. My family and I spent nine wonderful days here and fell in love with both Istria and Croatia. The pool is fantastic - a great size and kept two teenage boys entertained both day and night! There’s everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay including a well organised bar-b-que area complete with outside sink and a well stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need. The bedrooms are a great size with air conditioning (a must) the two largest have walk in showers complete with unbelievable sea views. We enjoyed our trips to the pretty town of Labin (approx. 20 minutes by car) which has some lovely restaurants and shops. The slightly rocky trek down to the beautiful, quiet beach Jadrina was an experience we’ll never forget! Jacqueline was a fantastic host and any questions we had during our stay were responded to very quickly. We would love to come back on our next visit to Croatia and would highly recommend.

Traumhaftes Haus
Das Haus ist einfach wunderschön, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Der Garten ist sehr groß und schön angelegt. Wir hatten das Glück und konnten gerade die reifen Aprikosen ernten. Von überall hat man diesen fantastischen Ausblick auf's Meer, besonders gut hat es mir persönlich auf dem oberen Balkon gefallen. Der Pool war perfekt temperiert und wurde zweimal wöchentlich gereinigt. Der Weg zum Meer ist etwas abschüssig und holprig. Hierfür sollte man etwas festeres Schuhwerk einplanen. Es gibt zwei Restaurants und einen Minimarkt in Ravni (zu Fuß etwa eine halbe Stunde). Für alle weiteren Ausflüge und Besorgungen benötigt man das Auto. Das Inserat müsste einmal dahingehend geändert werden, dass es mittlerweile schon direkte Nachbarn gibt. Rund um das Haus wurden und werden an die zehn Häuser gebaut. Die Vermieter haben jedoch schon entsprechende Sichtschutze im Garten gepflanzt, die im nächsten Jahr eine ausreichende Höhe haben müssten. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett, bei unserer Ankunft war sogar der Kühlschrank für ein erstes Frühstück gefüllt. Ich kann dieses wunderschöne Objekt nur weiter empfehlen.

Ein kleines Paradies
mega schönes Haus mit herrlichen Ausblick und Pool. Die Umgebung ist ein bisschen karg. Häuser in Bauphase!! Praktisch eingerichtet. Die Küchenartikel müssten mal erneuert werden . Der Weg zum Strand ist ok.

Wir haben zusammen mit einer befreundeten Familie (4 Erwachsene / 4 Kinder (2-6) wundervolle 10 Tage in dieser traumhaften Villa verbringen dürfen!!! Die Angaben im Inserat stimmen zu 100% (werden teilweise sogar noch übertroffen), die Vermieterin ist sehr unkompliziert, freundlich und professionell (hat uns wegen Corona sogar bis fast vor Reisebeginn ein außerordentliches Stornorecht eingeräumt), im Haus findet man wirklich einfach alles was man benötigt (hätten das halbe Reisegepäck daheim lassen können)... sogar unser E Auto konnten wir absolut komplikationslos laden! Der Pool ist traumhaft, die Outdoor- Küche und der Grillplatz sind klasse und das ganze Grundstück lädt perfekt zum Spielen für die Kinder und zum relaxen ein... zusammengefasst, ein super Urlaub... gerne wieder! P.s.: die Vermieterin produziert ihren eigenen Wein und als Geschenk gab es eine freie Kostprobe ... haben dann noch 2 Flaschen mitgenommen 🙂👍🏻

Tolles Haus!
Das Haus ist sehr schön und genauso wie in der Beschreibung. Es hat alles was man braucht. Tolle Ausstattung in der Küche. Alle Küchengeräte die man braucht und wünscht. Jacqueline haben wir nicht persönlich getroffen aber Kommunikation war schnell und freundlich. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe. Wir, Familie mit 7 Personen haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles perfekt. Gerne wieder.

Casa Bura
We had a unforgettable vacation in this modern and beautiful house. It was way above our expectations. The materials and furniture in the house are very high quality, everything is very clean and well looked after. You have more than enough space inside and outside, rooms are spacious, with high ceilings. The pool is being cleaned twice a week, the garden is impeccable. The house is equipped with everything you need for living, not only vacating. All you need to take with you is your bathing suit :) There is also a variety of beaches near the house, that are easy to access also by foot (5-7 minutes) Also, we were amazed by how friendly and helpful the host is. We got a lot of tips regarding what places to visit, what restaurants are the best, but also a lot of help with organizing our trip and especially With organizing a place for the boat. If you are looking to an unforgettable vacation, this is definitely the right place for it. Our rating is 10/10.

Urlaub auf höchstem Niveau
Dieses Haus lässt keine Wünsche übrig! Vom sehr netten Empfang mit ausführlicher Hausführung bis zur sehr leckeren Flasche Wein als Willkommensgeschenk war der Check so wie man ihn möchte! Jaqueline ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin die für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar war. Das Haus bietet an Einrichtung und allerlei Haushalts-Utensilien alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir brauchten wirklich nichts für den Haushalt mitnehmen. Ebenso war an Medien alles was wir brauchten vorhanden (WLAN, TV, Radio, soundanlage, Bluetooth Lautsprecher,...) Das Haus lies keine Wünsche übrig: sauber, modern, stilvoll, voll ausgestattet, tolle Raumaufteilung. Es sieht Tatsächlich aus wie auf den Fotos ( wenn nicht noch besser) was ja nicht immer der Fall ist! Die Aussicht ist mega, aus allen Zimmern Meerblick mit Terrasse um die Sonnenaufgänge und Untergänge genießen zu können! Der Pool ist toll, hat eine tolle Größe und wir 2x/Woche vom Poolboy gereinigt. Er liegt nur ein paar Stufen unterhalb des Hauses, was es einfach machte die Kinder mit etwas Abstand (;) im Auge zu behalten! Die outdoorküche war jeden Tag im Einsatz. Die Lage ist ruhig und etwas abgelegen, jedoch sind Geschäfte und Strände und Restaurants innerhalb von Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ein kleiner Privatstrand ist über einen etwas steileren (10min) Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Ebenso sind die Städte Labin und Rabac in der Nähe. Wir können dieses Haus absolut empfehlen, ob mit Familie oder mit ein paar Freunden ist es ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!

Wunderschönes Anwesen
Wir waren 2 Familien mit je 2 Kinder. Es hat alles super geklappt und das Haus und die Anlage haben super gepasst. Die tolle Aussicht ist das Highlight. Im Nachbardorf waren die Strandbar, der kleine Lebensmittelmarkt und vor allem das „Tennisclub“ Restaurant super! Das Meer mit seinen Buchten ist sowieso der Hammer!!!

The house looks even better in reality than on pictures. Jacqueline built her dream object with wise choice of architecture, planning, and material, creating a dream villa. We hard a time time leaving and will always bear it in mind as our top.

Entspannt und gemütlich!
Wir haben eine rundum entspannte Woche in Casa Bura verbracht, besonders die gemütliche Terrasse hatte es uns angetan! Das Haus ist wunderbar ausgestattet, für die Kinder war der gemeinsame Grillabend ein Highlight! Genügend schöne Bademöglichkeiten in der Nähe, ein sehr gelungener Urlaub!

Excellent service, lovely house and splendid beach
We stayed for 11 days, with up to 8 guests, and we all had a marvellous time. The house is nicely off the beaten track but close enough to excellent facilities and restaurants in Labin, Pula and Rovinj to be able to see the sights and do fine dining. The views from the house are magnificent, the design of the house gives an airy, light and spacious feel and the bedrooms are large and equipped with AC. The private beach is a joy, and the walk to it through the woods is an adventure. We will consider revisiting and further exploring the Istrian countryside, restaurants and hill towns.

Spectacular House, Wonderfully private vacation!
My two teenagers and I joined another family and shared the house for the week. We could not have been more impressed with such a quality house in a beautiful part of the world. The house was plenty spacious for two families with a large, well-equipped kitchen. We spent many lovely evenings cooking and eating outside. The small, private beach was another favorite. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect house
For our group of 4 women this house was perfect. We all had our own bedrooms and they were all lovely. This is a beautiful house and well equipped with the essentials. They had clear and complete house instructions in a binder. Everything was there that was necessary in the kitchen. A real pleasure staying there. The best part was waking in the morning and seeing the Adriatic sea and sun rise from bed!! I would love to live there. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. A lovely person.

Perfect place for recreation
We had a perfect ten-day-stay. We loved the house, we loved the view and we loved the tiny beach a 15 minutes downhill walk away from the house. The terrace and the balcony are perfect to spend nice evenings with a good book, a good conversation or a good glass of wine.
