Our group was very comfortable in this cabin. We visit Wears Valley every year and this cabin was one of our favorites. Kitchen was well supplied and Volunteer Rentals was easy to work with.
The property was great and very clean. The views from the upper deck were really nice. The bugs are starting to create some damage to the outside structure but inside is still really nice. Great stay!
Paradise Found was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The location was beautiful and quiet, yet an easy drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (20-30 min). The cabin had plenty of room for all of us and was very clean. The owners/rental agency was very communicative and helpful. We had some bad weather on the day we checked in making the roads not safe and they called to let us know and were looking out for our safety. I would definitely rent here again and enjoyed working with Volunteer Cabins.
the cabin was just as described.
clean and well maintained
just a reminder to all, lock you doors and close your windows.chased a bear out of a car.he was a frequent visitor.walked up on the deck.peeked in the windows and moved on.the deck chairs blocking the outside hallway did not stop him.he just climbed the railing .some contractors were working on a new home.not noisy but late starters.
Paradise Found was just perfect for us! We were traveling on motorcycles with 3 other couples and found this mountain retreat to be everything that we needed. It was exactly as described in the listing. And the location was perfect too. Out in the country, but yet only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge.
The view from the wrap-around porch was awesome! And one evening while we were watching the sunset from the porch, we were visited by a young black bear. He came around the corner of the porch, looked at us, and turned and walked away. All the while we were videoing him and laughing!
One of the days we never left the cabin because it rained HARD all day long. So, we played pool and video games, relaxed in the hot tub, and watched TV. It was nice to have those options.
We would definitely choose Paradise Found again!
We had a lovely get together. Four couples enjoyed private having our own space as well as several beautiful gathering areas. The back decks with views, living area, lower level games area and roomy kitchen made each day comfortable and social. We also took advantage of the outdoor fire pit which was slightly short on seating. Overall, the house was easy to step into and made the basis for a wonderful get away!
Property was everything needed for a family outing. In our everyday lives we get so busy and so 3 families met and enjoyed one others company. With the incredible deck and amenities that this property offers we couldn’t ask for a better location. Will definitely recommend and will use this cabin rental again if available
We loved this cabin! Beautiful views of the mountains and a nice location at the end of a cull de sac. This cabin was very easy to get to. The kitchen had several nice pots and pans for cooking and a large table to seat us all. A great table for lots of games. The management was very nice and friendly! It was good to be in the mountains yet only about 15 minutes to the IGA in Townsend.
Great location, amazing views, and a very well stocked kitchen made this stay with my friends to celebrate my birthday perfect! We loved the hot tub, back deck, and all the rooms were comfortable and well decorated.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Short stay
The property could have been a little cleaner and a few maintenance issues that needs to be addressed. The propane tanked needed to be filled which they took care of after we called. The location was quite and the location was beautiful
We loved staying at Paradise Found. The property was amazing! The views of the valley were spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch and watching the rain the first morning, the fog the second morning, and the sun the third.
Our group enjoyed our 3 night stay at Paradise Found. The cabin very comfortably sleeps 8-12 using the 2 sofa beds. The cabin is just a short drive to GSMNP which was so convenient for our stay.
Was hard to find a phone number to call when we were delayed and not sure if we would make it there prior to office closing. VRBO website showed phone # as (xxx-xxx-xxxx). Both basement bathrooms didn't have working outlets for hair dryers or curling irons. Pool cue tips all worn off and hard to play pool with any accuracy while shooting. Overall loved the house and set up. Loved the view and how the house was alone. Would stay here again.
The house and location was simply beautiful and a true vacation experience.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The check-in was a bit confusing since the VRBO sight did not send the attachment that was required to read by the Volunteer Cabin Rental company. Because of this, we were not aware of the possibility that the house would not be ready by 3pm. The house was not ready, but was ready 20 minutes later. We could only imagine that the previous tenants did not leave the house in decent shape, since the dishwasher was running when we got in and found dirty (with food and grease) still on pots and pans located in the cabinets. We washed all the pots and pans again, but that's because we were a bit OCD once we saw food and grease still on some of them. Other than the pots and pans and the wonky check-in, it was awesome! The view and condition of the home was great and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for the overall great experience!
The property was very clean and close to everything. The property was supplied with great kitchen utensils and pots/pans etc. We made some great memories around the kitchen table, outside on the deck, around the fire pit. The views were amazing. You'll want to come back again and again.
This cabin is located at the end of a cut-de-sac, so it is isolated from other nearby homes. It has a fabulous view. However, as far as Wears Valley and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, it is close to everything: Cade's Cove, Metcaff Bottoms, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, etc. Great, great location.
