NO WATER

As a family that travels multiple times a year, this place was by far the worst. Upon arriving, the drive up to the cabin was dangerously steep. Parking was absolutely ridiculous. Immediately entering the cabin, we were very disappointed in how small and cramped the living area/kitchen was. We were a family of 12, and trying to cook and seat all of us for our Thanksgiving meal, was impossible. The blender did not work as well. The cabin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in six months. Also, multiple light fixtures didn’t have working bulbs or the lights didn’t even work at all. The bathrooms didn’t have trash cans, so we had to use leftover Walmart bags we had. Lastly, on multiple occasions, we ran out of water completely. You’d think with an occupancy of 12, the place would have holding tanks for the well water, so it wouldn’t dry up.

Just a Landing Pad

Description “Newly Renovated” is a stretch, newer LVP in the main level only. Theater area is a cool concept but definitely not a comfortable setup. TV’s in bedrooms are tiny and outdated with cords hanging down. Dust on all the walls and under beds. Owner is responsive. View is great before sunrise and later in the afternoon.

Absolutely beautiful views from the cabin!!

Everything was great! Location was close enough to both gatlinburg and pigeon forge but also secluded and not on top of the other cabins. I do recommend 4 or all wheel drive bc it is a very steep drive up to the cabin. The homeowners were very quick to answer any questions. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family!

Comfortable cabin with incredible view!

Spacious cabin with plenty of room for large family! Everything was very clean and we had everything that we needed (hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, etc). Beautiful decor and fixtures! The entire family enjoyed the game/movie room... video games for all ages! VERY responsive owners. We had one minor problem with the foosball table (missing screw) and the owners fixed it within 12 hours of us contacting them :) Great view of the mountains from all 3 balcony levels. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would HIGHLY recommend staying at this property.

Smoky Mountain Family Trip

Our trip was fun filled and busy and coming home to this cozy cabin with amazing views was absolutely perfect for this family trip. We had our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountains and after a long day of exploring the nearby wildlife, coming back to a relaxing hot tub topped off the day perfectly. Would definitely stay here again!

Fun family vacation!

House was great for our family of 10. The kids loved the amenities the house had to offer. Water pressure wasn’t the best but overall a great experience!

Rainy days not a problem with this cabin!

This was our annual summer trip with our 12 year old grandson. We definitely had a fun time with him doing things he was interested in: Dolly Parton's Stampede, Blacksmithing experience, riding through the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail; and the Escape Room Challenge to name a few. But as the rains came and the rains went, our grandson was delighted to spend time hanging out in the downstairs game room, and sleeping in one of the bedrooms that he chose for himself. He called the downstairs his 'Oasis', and it certainly was!

Coming Home

I’ve spent all my life visiting this area. I remember when Pigeon Forge was all farmland. The views from this cabin was outstanding, the roads for the most part were not steep (until the end and only for a very short time) and I felt like I was by myself in the hills. You knew you had neighbors but not to the point of it being distracting and getting into town proper took no time at all. At max capacity the cabin may have been a bit tight but at a party of five we had more than enough space to spread out and relax with left over beds. Super clean, super easy to book, and no issues communicating with the property management. Easily a cabin I would look to rebook and I have stayed in quite a few around the smokies. Highly recommend this if you want beautiful scenery yet close to everyone.

Great views, fast communication, easy location

Our host was very quick to respond to us, and the house was perfect. We stayed here with 10 adults and we had plenty of space. Views were better than advertised and it was just far enough from town to feel very secluded, but close enough to go out to dinner, etc. conveniently. Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous Getaway!

The Last Stop Lodge looked even better in person, was clean and had all the bells and whistles one could ask for! Hot tub was clean and ready to use, game & theater room were awesome, beds were comfy, owners were very quick to respond with any questions we had, close to Pigeon Forge but still felt quiet and secluded. I can't think of anything negative to write about! Oh, and I'm pretty sure we had the best view of the whole neighborhood of cabins up there, no joke, my folks walked around and agreed ours was the best spot! Haha Thanks again for a wonderful spring break vacation! :)

Gennifer and I welcome you to The Last Stop Lodge!

After 23 years of military service we made East Tennessee our Last Stop and fulfilled our dream of owning a cabin. It is our primary goal that the Last Stop on your travel to beautiful East Tennessee not only meets but exceeds your expectations.

I'm currently working as a commercial Airline Pilot, and Gennifer is a local Realtor, specializing in selling short term rental investment properties in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.

Why they chose this property

Gated community for extra security. Mountain Views for miles. Easily accessible. 7 Minutes to the Parkway, 15 to Dollywood, 20 to Gatlinburg.

What makes this property unique

Located in a gated cabin community, The Last Stop Lodge has views of the sunrise over the mountains on 3 levels. With less than a 10 minute drive to the center of Pigeon Forge, this location is perfect for getting anywhere in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge without being stuck in the Parkway traffic.

The cabin is owned and managed by us. We even lived in it for a year making it right while we built our retirement house. We know every inch of it, and updated it with modern finishes and thoughtful details.

We are a retired military family who lives locally, knows the area, and can respond quickly to anything that comes up. From the simple "can pizza be delivered to the cabin (yes by the way)", to fixing something right away. We are available 24/7 while you're visiting.

Our primary goal is to provide an experience you and your family will remember forever, and to make you a repeat visitor to the Great Smoky Mountains. Thank you. (Justin)
