We love the bungalow at bishop beach and try to come back every year. We love the view of the beach from the master bedroom, the kitchen has everything we need to cook our meals, and the local bakery and coffee shops are awesome. Homer as always is delightful and charming.
This Bishop’s Beach House is the best place we’ve ever rented! Quiet, soooo close to the beach, with Sandhill Cranes flying overhead. The art work inside is lovely, and the property manager is the best!
Clean, well-supplied with the necessities. May be a little small for more than 4 people. Only minor inconvenience was that the single bathroom was downstairs for all bedrooms upstairs. Nice location for a short walk to the beach.
Love our time in Homer each year! This was our first time staying near Bishop Beach. Great location and cute property. Bonus that we could have out dog with us!
This place is just what we needed for a quick trip. 7 people and a dog slept comfortably in this cozy but spacious house. The proximity to the beach can't be beat! We also walked to the meadery, grocery store, and Wild Honey cafe-- super close to everything!
Our stay at the bungalow met all of our needs. We used the BBQ every night and the wonderful weather we ordered made the our experience even better. We watched eagles and moose from the dining room table and took walks along the water front just steps from the door.
Tons of charm, lots of fun old books and games. Everything worked and was clean. House is old, but that fits the neighborhood. Less than a minute walk to Bishops beach and Sisters Bakery, short walk to Safeway and Fat Olives. Our second stay.
Definitely my top pick! Hope to stay here every time in the future so enjoy it but just don't steal my dates ;) Great location, very cozy, comfy, enjoyable, and efficiently used space in this cottage. Had everything we could want and more. Thank you Connie for the fresh peonies that greeted our arrival, too!
We enjoyed our stay at Bungalow at Bishop Beach. The communication with the owner was great. The house was adorable and very clean. Very friendly and accommodating! The house was very close to the middle of town and walking distance to the grocery store. We would have loved to try Two Sister's Bakary next door, but sadly it was closed the two days we were there. If we are ever back in Homer, this will be where we stay for sure!
Connie was easy to communicate with and very accommodating when we needed to adjust our check-in time. Our four kids enjoyed collecting rocks from the nearby beach, and then spent hours painting them on the big deck out back. We highly recommend a stop at The Homer Bookstore to stock up on art supplies and books during your visit too. We have many sweet memories of our time at the Bungalow. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our Stay
The place was very clean and nice. The curtains didn't completely cover the windows that face the beach parking lot. Pots and pans were minimal as were basic supplies (salt, pepper, oil etc). Place was nice but on the more rustic side. The washer/dryer was a plus. Did get to see a moose with 2 calves walk right next to the porch :)
The location was fantastic - in my opinion, the best place to be in Homer. I really enjoyed walking to the beach whenever I wanted, and having our dog with us was even better. The Homer Spit was a short drive away. Views are great. Because it was winter and pretty windy during our stay, we weren't able to really enjoy the deck, but in summer I bet it is dreamy. The artwork inside is everywhere - benches, pieces, and paintings - even living room shade is a piece of art. The kitchen is small, but has everything needed. The beds were comfortable - both hubby and I have bad backs and we slept well. Lots of towels and pillows were a bonus. I really look forward to staying here in future!
