Private Garage Apartment. Ideal for people moving into Washington DC area or in transition to a new job. Or for students in the area doing studies or interns

Garage Apartment is detached from our Main House for privacy. Private parking for one vehicle.

For 1 person occupancy. The apartment has one king bed, bath and kitchen, high speed internet connect to FIOS (video streaming),TV (limited channels), central heating air conditioning. Total square footage is around 650 square feet.

We have couples asking if we will rent to 2 people. The answer is no. We only rent for 1 person occupancy. Thank you.

Renter will need their own transportation to Metro or other locations. 15 minutes from Vienna Metro station. 20 Minutes to Dulles Airport. 25 minutes to Fairfax Hospital. 30 Minutes to downtown DC during off rush-hour times.

Parking space to the side of the garage. No parking in front of garage, or in the the garage and no access is provided to the garage.. Apartment is above garage separate from main house providing privacy for the renter and home owner. Windows in back facing woods, in the bedroom and coming up the stairwell.

We do not make appointments to show the apartment prior to rental. The pictures and description should be all you need in order to decide to rent or not to rent.

* There is an entrance from the garage but it is also a locked door. You are secure.
*. We use the garage below for storage only. No noise or wood working, etc.
*. Fully furnished.
*. Rent includes all utilities.
*. We have high speed FIOS internet both wireless and direct connect.
*. No Cable TV. Use FIOS high speed internet for streaming.
* The apartment is heated and cooled by a central HVAC system under your control.
* Tub and shower.

Off the beaten path
Well kept, remote home away from home! Set back in a wooded area with the benefit of being close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Owner was on site and responsive while respecting our privacy during our extended stay. Would reserve again when staying in the area.

Great for Summer Stay
I enjoyed staying here for the summer. There aren’t many short-term furnished leases to come by, so I am glad I found this. The property offers the same amenities as a long-term hotel, but for a better price (due to a less optimal location). But as long as you have a car, most stores/restaurants are less than 10 minutes away. The appliances are very new and nice, and I especially appreciated having my own washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable and there is plenty of closet space. In general, I think you will find that this property has all that you are looking for. Just make sure you have a car. This property is not walkable to commercial areas.

Exceptional space with lots of room.
This apartment has all the amenities listed and plenty of space. Enjoyed my stay, very quiet location away from all the noise. Close to some very good restaurants in the area. The homeowner was very respectful of my space and was always quick to reply to my request.
