Both guest rooms have en suite baths with tub/shower combos featuring one king and one queen bed. The front bedroom has access to a private courtyard offering a quiet space to start your morning with your preferred morning beverage.

Upstairs has room for everyone! With two twin days beds and two pop up trundles, the kids can have their space to play and relax. The master suite offers a king bed with a luxury walk-in shower and double-sink vanity in the en suite bath. This beautiful bedroom also has a private balcony for catching great sunsets after a long day at the beach.

Convenient

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was located in a nice community, could have been cleaner. Sat on the floor upstairs with kids and sand was on the floor, rug was shedding fuzz. It was roomy and comfortable for all of us. The golf cart is convenient to get around, however it has some wear and tear on it. We had a great time.

Very nice condo and experience

The condo was very nice and well laid out for our family. It was very clean and the location was great. We wish the air in the downstairs bedrooms had worked a little better... the lakeside bedroom remained stuffy even when the air was on 70 degrees. The upstairs was nice and cool. We would use this group/condo again.

Second, the golf cart was unusable and it appeared not to have been in working order for a while. ASSUME NO GOLF CART if you book this house. Third, as long as you don't need anything, you will enjoy your stay here. But if you have any problem, don't expect much from MyVacationHaven.

Miramar Beachside Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. I have one suggestion and that is there are no grab bars in the main floor bathrooms. One person in our group couldn't walk the stairs to the upstairs bathroom which has a beautiful walk in shower. I also have one complaint and that was with the golf cart. It was extremely dirty. We had to wash all the seats before using. The other issue was that it was very hard to start. It was always clicking in that the batteries were trying to turn over. The last day we were using it became quite an ordeal. We were driving over to the Baytowne Wharf. The golf cart just started excelerating on its own and then would suddenly stop. We were lucky that the car behind didn't rear end us. We were able to get it started again but it excelerated and stopped again four more times before we were able to get back to the property. Needless to say that was our last time trying to drive it. You should really have that checked before someone gets hurt. It is a wonderful plus to have and use but that needs to be looked at especially since that is the first picture you see when looking at the property on the website. Other than that we all had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us stay.

Very Relaxing

This was a very relaxing place to stay during spring break. It was close enough to the beaches/restaurants/shopping, without being part of the hustle and bustle. Any questions/concerns were handled right away by the host. There was plenty of room for everyone and we all slept comfortably. It was nice to have beach chairs and toys provided. It was great to be able to ride the golf cart to the beach and close by restaurants.

The best memories!!

Our family had a great stay here! We had 6 adults and three kids between 8-13 years old. There was plenty of space for us all to have our own space. The unit had everything we needed for the beach. It was nice not having to worry about traveling with chairs or sand toys. The location was ideal for us. A five minute golf cart ride to the beach or ten minute golf cart ride to the wharf. We didn’t have the best weather during our stay so we enjoyed all of the amenities Sandestin has to offer. We did some fishing in the lake, shopped, escape rooms, and the wharf. We don’t do the beach every year but we will be back soon! Thanks again for a great stay!

Enjoyed the Property!

This is a nice resort with a great spot on the beach. The house is large and comfortable. The kitchen has all the cooking implements you need. The beds are comfortable and accommodated up to 9 people. The large golf cart was great to access the beach or other locations. There are several smart TVs for streaming aps and cable programming.. There are many beach toys to use, but we would have also liked an umbrella and cooler. Would have loved curtains in the master to block that 6 AM sunrise! Might look into replacing some ceiling fans for noise or faster speed. We would certainly consider staying here in the future.

The property was great, other than being called the day before our arrival stating that the golf cart was not working but it was going to the shop to be worked on, which it did not. When I booked, I booked with a 6 seater golf cart. We were given a loaner cart but did not receive this until 5 pm on Sunday and it was a 4 seater. The property was great but this was a big inconvenience.

Very happy with the home; golf cart was broken

We loved the layout Loved the pond in the back Pictures were accurate Property manager was very friendly, they had a convenient texting service and always answered my phone calls Very clean *Golf cart was out of service and was not repaired at all during our stay. The golf cart was the PRIMARY reason we booked one of the villas and not a beach front condo. Thank goodness we drive to Florida (if we flew and ubered, we would have been in a bad spot).

We had a great time

Nice location with the golf cart that seats 6! The light at the front door and the vent in the master bedroom need a good cleaning, other than that it was very clean. You have to make sure to keep checking the air conditioning temperature as it kept reseting to 78. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Review of 5199 beachwalk villa

Loved this place. Read some bad reviews after booking and was a little hesitant. Layout, location and golf cart a definite plus. Could see beach fireworks from deck. The pictures did look like there was sand behind the property so we thought the littles could play in it but instead is grass. A little disappointed because of the expectation but not a big deal. The queen 3rd bedroom did have a hard mattress where I slept and my adult children said the same thing on the masters. Maybe a waffle pad under the sheets ?? The only other issue was the gate latch rusted off when we were there so I sent an email and tried calling about it to report it but never got an acknowledgment or response for the rest of the 4 additional days we were there Overall would definitely book again. Far enough from beach for quiet but only a 5-10 minute golf cart ride when we wanted to be in the middle of everything

Nice condos but not greatest beach experience

The rental process and condo were great. The only real drawback is the distance from the beach and when you do get there the large on the beach high rises get preferential treatment. We were actually told to "move along". That is really a VERY negative aspect for a trip to the Destin area. I don't think we would stay here again.

Exactly what we’d hoped for!

This rental was perfect! We had a group of 5 adults so the space was just what we needed to still feel like we had our own area. It looked even better than the pictures. Golf cart was great for running around the resort. The closet had the most beach supplies of any rental I’ve ever used. Beautiful views made for relaxing time out on the deck. We would definitely stay here again!

Horrible would NEVER recommend - roaches at checkin and horrible customer service

If you are booking a rental do NOT get a property managed by My Vacation Haven Vacation Rentals. We checked into our property late Saturday night (around 11:30) and the first thing we saw was a roach on the kitchen floor. We went through the rest of the condo and found several other large and small roaches in various rooms. Some were alive some dead and several had baby bugs crawling over the dead ones. We contacted the property management company right away as we were not comfortable staying in a condo with a roach problem. We took photos and videos to document. Around 2 AM we checked ourselves into another hotel at our own cost as our 4 young children (and ourselves) needed to sleep and it wasn’t happening there. We told the company we would figure it out the next day as they couldn’t get a manager to contact us to advice us of next steps and we were not comfortable sleeping in a unit with bugs and roaches. The next day we were able to speak to a manager who informed us these were not infesting bugs and the home was clean and sanitary and safe. They were unwilling to do anything for us other than rent us another unit at full price and would not issue any refund or fees we paid or reimburse us for our out of pocket expense to stay at hotel last minute. We paid over $500/ night for a 3 bedroom place and with that kind of money we expected 1) a clean house, roach and rodent free and 2) better customer service. The manager fully admitted they do not fumigate for bugs/roaches at the property and that these insects simply wonder into the house accidentally through open doors or windows. She went on to say ther was no infestation problem (without laying eyes on it herself of course!!!) and that the home was clean sanitary and safe. This occurred on Saturday late evening/ Sunday early morning. We went back to the property the following afternoon (Sunday) maintenance had been to the property and didn’t even bother to take out the garbage with one of the live roaches we had thrown in there. It was still there when we checked. We went back on Tuesday evening and found 3 new live large roaches in the main floor with again baby bugs crawling all over. The unit had been completely unlived in during our “stay” so they could not have come in through open doors or windows as again, we actually didn’t stay there. There is no way we would have been comfortable staying there finding multiple roaches daily/nightly. Very poorly cleaned, even worse service.

Sandestin Beachwalk delight

Roomy and comfortable. We needed beds for 3 adult couples. This condo has a King, a Queen and a Full and each bedroom has a private bathroom. This was great for us! The local management team was VERY helpful and quickly handled a couple of things for us.

Summer Fun

This property is one of our family favorites. We have stayed ywo years in a row and plan to be vack for many more. This property is very clean and well maintained. With access to the lake out back it makes for a peacful break from the crowds at the beach and a great place for kids to fish. With the cart that is included with this property you have quick access to all of the Sandestin property and a great way to get arround. The kids love the pool, Baytown Warf and the beach. Although we bring our own beach toys there are generally enoughinthe closet outside to make the beach more enjoyable. A short 4 minute golf cart ride to the beach but worth the effort for a relaxing vacation away with friends and family.

Exactly what we wanted!

This property was beautiful, clean and very spacious for a family of 5 adults. We enjoyed the back patio and golf cart to get to the beach and the pool. Highly recommend!
