GITE LES RUISSEAUX - 5 people
In the massif of Cézallier, land of summer pastures where dominate the wide spaces, you will have the impression to penetrate in a world apart. Close to the famous Plomb du Cantal, Puy de Sancy and Puy Mary famous in winter for downhill and Nordic skiing, we welcome you in a building of the 19th century recently renovated. The program of your stay: hiking, discovery of natural sites and exceptional landscapes, Saint-Nectaire and truffade for gastronomy, rest, relaxation, fresh air.
The housing consists on the ground floor of a main living room with a kitchen, as well as a laundry / WC. Upstairs, a lounge with flat screen TV invites relaxation. Three bedrooms can accommodate 5 people, a sofa bed will allow if necessary to accommodate 2 additional people, 1 bathroom with sink, shower, toilet. You will enjoy a garden with trees where you can admire the magnificent view of the mountains of Cézallier or relax in the shade of fir trees. The accommodation is adjoining our home but have made sure to preserve your privacy. You benefit from two private terraces exhibition E / SE and S / SO. You also benefit from a closed garage.
Residing on the spot, we will be available to answer your needs and to advise you on your choice of visits and discovery of the region.
The cottage is located in a small Cantalian village whose activity is centered around the breeding and processing of dairy products. To discover close to your home: the waterfall and the archaeological site of the Veyrines, the Rock of Landeyrat (basaltic chaos that testifies to the volcanic past of the region), the Vélorail Cézallier which offers 6 courses through 30 kms of railways (some vélorails benefit from electric assistance). The region has many hiking and mountain biking trails that will allow you to discover the richness of the fauna and flora. The cottage is located 35 minutes from the ski resorts of Super Besse, 40 minutes from the ski resorts of Super Lioran and 30 minutes from the Nordic ski slopes of Claux Puy Mary and Sancy.
The village of Landeyrat is located 8 minutes by car from the main local shops (bakery, butchers, supermarkets, pharmacies, bank, ...).
