Beautiful two bedroom beachfront home across from famous Brenneckes Beach! Known for excellent boogie boarding, body surfing, surfing, and swimming! Just a short walk from your door and be on the sand! Breathtaking views from the hot tub on the lanai!! The property offers a beautiful and very spacious oceanfront yard with breathtaking views of the ocean and beach from every location. Our home is considered ocean front, as there are no homes built between our home and the ocean. You do need to walk across the lawn, pass through our gate, and walk across the beach road to reach Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach Park.

Beautifully decorated in elegant island style with a spacious oceanfront living area offering breathtaking views of the beach and ocean! The kitchen is a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the ocean as you whip up an island style meal on the lovely granite counters. Fully equipped with everything including a full-size washer and dryer we have been attentive to provide you with all you may need to feel at home in paradise.

The home features two bedrooms each with a private bath. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom features two twin beds. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room is available for kids allowing up to six comfortably. For your home entertainment needs the cottage has cable TV and wireless Internet.

Indulge yourself in your private Jacuzzi on the spacious lanai (deck), BBQ as you watch the waves, or relax and enjoy the lawn and gardens. You'll also find plenty of fun near home with shopping centers, fine dining and live entertainment nearby. For larger groups, our family owns many of the homes surrounding this home!

Rental includes use of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club for your group up to five guests.

Really loved this spot. Good for a family of 4 kids are 8,10. Well appointed in terms of all the amenities.owner was easy. Decor was a little dated but not in a bad way, just not a modern spot if that’s more your thing. Clean and comfortable so no complaints!

This was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed. We brought our 10 month old, as well as 84 year old grandma and had all the amenities we could ever imagine, pack n play, two large play yards which were wonderful for the little one while we were out on the lanais

From the booking through the stay, the host and cottage were fantastic. We felt very much at home in the cottage, which was cozy, but had plenty of space for us to have our own time. Sunrise and sunset are stunning from the front porch. We had everything we needed to make and enjoy great meals. And the host went out of his way to provide us with a football and board games, which we made good use of. The location is also great. If you want to check out the island, it's relatively centrally located from the southern, western, and northern towns. We would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo for a great vaca!

Another wonderful vacation!
We had another wonderful and restful stay at this little cottage by the sea! The view of the ocean can’t be beat! We watched a pod of dolphins frolicking out front for several minutes one morning and another day saw several turtles playing in the waves just offshore. Book it if you can!

1) Absolutely perfect location. So close to the beach. 2) Perfect place to watch the sea turtles and sunset. 3) Cozy cottage with great kitchen and comfortable beds 4) could use a little updating in the bathrooms, especially master bath and a little musty in the bedrooms as well, likely from the AC units. Overall would still recommend!

You CAN'T beat the location
This is a cute house located directly across from the ocean. It's steps away from Brenneckes Restaurant. The house has all the amenities you'll need, including essential beach equipment; umbrella, chairs, and cooler, etc. There is a new jacuzzi on the deck as well as new furniture and BBQ. We had all our meals on the front deck enjoying the ocean and in the evening watching the locals boogie board. And if you want to swim in a pool, the rental gives you access to Kiahuna Swim & Tennis club. The club has a full restaurant and bar on site. We totally recommend this house! We are impressed with it we we have their multiple times. You will love this gem.

My wife and I along with our two daughters (10 and 15) enjoyed every minute of our stay at the beachfront cottage. Morning coffee on the lanai while watching the sea turtles and early evening jacuzzi’s while watching the sunset are some of our favorite memories. We can’t wait to come back!

We have stayed at this property several times over the last 10 years. Our children are a lot older now and we love it just as much. It feels like home. The beach is literally steps away and sitting on the lanai in morning, watching the surf and the turtles with our coffee, bacon, eggs, and sugar loaf pineapple is a dream. Relaxing there at night listing to the waves is so healing. Further, Bob and Davina were very accommodating when our flight was cancelled. Mahalo

Wonderful location right across from Brennecke's Beach. Thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the back porch watching Spinner Dolphins, surfing turtles, and whales!! Best spot for sunsets too!!

My family of four had an awesome time here! We saw spinner dolphins from the lanai and the boogie boarding at Brennecke’s was great. Kids loved playing on the large lawn. Beds and sofas were comfortable and everything was as pictured. We made use of the snorkeling gear and boogie boards provided and relaxed in the hot tub afterwards! Hope to be back someday!

Perfect Poipu Cottage
We enjoyed a perfect week. Easy access to boogie boarding, snorkeling, and easy meals made a great trip for us and our teens. The cottage was outstanding: perfectly appointed, fantastic location. The deck was recently renovated and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the glorious sunsets.

Perfect location for your vacation
Location is everything when we go to Hawaii! We loved renting this home so very much. The views and proximity to walk to multiple beaches was exactly what we wanted. The house is a small, cottage like home but cozy! Perfect. for 2 couples or small family. House could use some minor updates and a good deep clean would go a long way as upon checkin we did have to contact property manager to have the cleaner come back. They addressed our concerns immediately which was fabulous. Would absolutely book again!

My wife and I have lived on Kauai most of our lives and have raised our children here. Kauai is a paradise this side of heaven. When you discover Poipu, you will realize that this is one of Kauai's sparkling areas. We choose to swim and surf in Poipu on a regular basis because it refreshes and revitalizes our souls.

Why they chose this property

Part of what makes Kauai unique, is the abundance of rainfall on the island. Even though we are considered the wettest place in the world, Poipu is unique as the rainfall is usually under 20 inches annually. Which means, even though we live fifteen minutes away, where it can be cloudy and rainy, we drive to Poipu and find it sunny, warm and beautiful. We would not want to see our guests disappointed, so we choose Poipu has the place to have vacation homes.

What makes this property unique

You will find our beachfront home very cozy and romantic. We have many guests who come year after year and some that will come twice a year. They find that they can come to a place, relax and reconnect with their loved ones in ways they may not have know existed. Watching the waves break from our living room and sometimes seeing the whales breach one-hundred yards from shore, is a unique and lovely experience. Also, the kids love Poipu Beach Park, which is less than thirty seconds from our home.
