THINGS TO KNOW
The Jetpack WiFi is not suitable for remote work or streaming.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Security camera details: Outside of home with view of driveway & area surrounding home

Dock details: The dock is available June through September, weather and lake conditions permitting. The dock is just for swimming or sitting, and not for mooring a boat.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Back to Moosehead Lake
This is a beautiful cabin on Moosehead Lake. One of the nicest spots we have stayed at over the past 20 years in this region.

I had nothing to do with the property manager; it was all on line as you very well know. No communication, review incomplete. I suspect the owners of VRBO are Deep State.

Great Lake House, but no safe lake access for swimming, etc
The house is lovely, great location, right on the lake. One very important amenity for a lake house was missing: a dock-ladder, so you can access the lake safely and easily. Interior tasteful, comfy furniture, very comfy bed. Quiet location, although we could hear the neighbors. Some spices for cooking would be appreciated, when we arrived, there wasn’t even salt or pepper in the containers… Kitchen has fridge and freezer which is great if you plan to cook. Fridge door needs to be repaired, it doesn’t close properly. All in all, this is a nice property and we would love to come back, but only if there is a ladder connected to the dock.

Relaxing weekend
This was a great place. Many little details make it special. Agree with others on possibly adding some more comfortable outside seating and a ladder in the dock or better area for kayak launch. Loved it! Will get back!

Secluded get-away worth the drive!
We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. I am glad that we stayed just outside of town, very peaceful and beautiful! The drive was a longer one, but we had no trouble with the road as it was a fairly smooth dirt road and we have a truck. Close enough to Greenville town center as well as other outdoor recreational activities. There were 2 full kayak set ups and wood for the firepit. In the evening we could watch the sun set and the full moon rise. absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of space in the mini fridge and there were all of the creature comforts of home. There were other cabins close by, but enough space and tree cover that you would never know unless you were looking at it from the water. We would definitely stay here again and would consider rented one of the larger cabins to enjoy the area with family.

Very nice place
Beautiful little cabin, very nice place with great views. Enjoyed, swimming, fishing, using the grill and fire pit. The dock really needs a ladder to get in and out of the water and would be nice if the back door had a screen so the door could be left open. The place is about 20 mins on a dirt road off the main road but this is pretty common for moosehead lake. Most waterfront residences require a 10+ mintue drive down a dirt road. Good idea to bring a cooler to supplement fridge/ freezer space. Very secluded and quite though there is another cabin next door but there's some separation between with trees. Might be a good idea for the management to remind guests to stay in there own areas as for part of our stay we had a family staying next to us who for some reason were spending a lot of time swimming and kayaking right in front of our dock instead of their own lol. That was a kind of odd and a bit annoying as we visit a place like this seeking seclusion but luckily they were only there a for a couple days of our week stay. Overall very nice place and would visit again.

Fisherman’s Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at this log cabin, so much we didn’t want to leave. It’s right on Moosehead, with a dock and kayaks for use. Sitting on the porch in the comfy Adirondack chairs with coffee in the morning was just perfection. The bed was probably the most comfortable of any vrbo we have stayed at! We cooked over the fire pit and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We hope to come back soon😍

Lovely waterfront retreat
We greatly enjoyed this cabin for a 5-night stay in July. The view is stellar and the access to the lake is easy and beautiful. The porch is huge and you will spend a lot of time there. The interior of the cabin has a lot of thoughtful touches and high end finishes. The bed (a queen) was comfortable for two adults who prefer a firmer mattress. The internet was surprisingly good - it worked for a couple zoom and skype calls. The kayaks are great for easy exploring of the lake, although one is quite small and best for someone under 5 foot 5 or so. The loons were very numerous and called to us all throughout our stay. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! In terms of neighbors and privacy, it was very quiet and peaceful even in "peak" summer season. There is a house to the left and to the right on the lake shore. The house to the left (facing the lake) is a good distance away and we noticed no one there during our stay. To the right is another cabin of similar construction rented by the same owner (presumably). It is probably about 100 - 150 feet away and it is mostly obscured by trees and foliage in the summer. There was another couple there during our stay but we barely noticed they were there. In terms of accessibility, our small AWD SUV had no trouble on the lengthy gravel road you must take to get to the house. But in the winter it may be challenging. One negative - the living room is a bit lacking in terms of comfortable seating. There are three armchairs that date to the 90s or earlier, and that's it. For a cabin designed for couples, with many thoughtful design choices and expensive touches. you think it would have a cozy loveseat so you could sit together. Nope - just some chairs that you would find for a low price at a yard sale. But that's trying hard to be picky! All in all, we'd come back for sure. You should go!

Peace on the lake
We do really adore this cabin - it's our 2nd time back. The location on the lake and peacefulness that surrounds it is a treat. We came to kayak and it's a great location to paddle. The cabin could use some additional enhancements to give it a 5 star: furniture around the fire pit, gas grill, a loveseat in the living room, and better bedding. The kitchen and the roofed deck are fabulous! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Weekend Stay
Peace, quiet, serenity, beautiful scenery, beautiful cabin, gorgeous location and only a few feet from the water! We weren't sure what to expect on a holiday weekend (July 4th) but it was surprisingly quiet and the lake wasn't busy. Would definitely like to go again, it was a great getaway and the cabin was spotless, nicely decorated and cozy.

Perfect getaway. BYOG (Bring Your Own Games)
This was a lovely cabin with a nice wood stove for use (plenty of firewood was provided). Direct TV is available for when you aren't sitting on the deck enjoying the gorgeous lake view. Otherwise, you'll need to provide your own ways to pass the quieter hours. Very quiet setting. We found we did not want to leave to explore other areas as we we booked it for pure relaxation. The dirt road in is a bit rough, but our minivan handled it well enough...just go slow.

Needs a mattress
Nice, remote cabin. Beautiful setting on Moosehead Lake. Our main complaint is that the bed was a box spring and 2" memory foam. Not comfortable and cost 1.5 stars. Would be great to have starter coffee, but we were warned.

Really nice quiet getaway - hot water is an issue
Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1.
